I stopped here a week or so ago when I was having the urge for a pedicure. I'd read mixed Yelp-reviews but decided to give it a go anyway. The price was right, $30 for the general pedicure in the spa chair with massager. It is an older shop, but the chairs are newer. There were a couple other people in the shop too, some for mani, some for pedi. The guy who did my toes did a nice job. He took his time and I felt did a thorough job. He accidentally did clip some skin which started to bleed, but he acknowledged it, apologized, and cleaned the area multiple times. The polish was done nicely and after almost 2 weeks, still looks good. I'd definitely go back. read more

I tried this salon for the first time today because I didn't want to drive to my usual salon. What a mistake! I just wanted to clean up without any polish. The woman doing my nails didn't ask any questions - just started chopping away and cut my nails so short that they are uncomfortable in socks because the quick is exposed. They also used soap and lotion when giving a massage. My skin is so dried out from the soap. I have had a lot of pedicures and never once have they used soap. They look and feel awful. read more

I get a gel fill about every 3 weeks, they are my place to go. Wonderful work, they pay very close attention to detail. Staff is extremely friendly. Have done walk-ins before and have gotten right in but they seem to be very busy on weekends so would recommend making an appointment. read more

We got into a yelling match, then they said they could, but talked me into a more expensive treatment, uhhh. Tech went on to explain her life to me, Found out the tech is straight commission. Every time I come home to Cleveland I stop in for a pedi. The price is right, the place is clean, and the service is friendly. I've never had a bad experience here! I've never needed to make an appointment, I just stop in and am seated right away. I paid in total $60 for myself and my friend to get a full set of acrylics. They themselves look good, but they didn't cut our nails before applying the nail so we will have to get them filled again sooner than we wanted. read more

Went to this place to to a pedi this morning and lady told me I needed an appointment. I thought this place accepted walk-in customers.

I had a pedicure and shellac manicure at The Nails Inc about a month ago and I must admit that I was extremely disappointed with my experience. The Nails was recommended to me by a very good friend of mine, she frequents the salon often and has never had a bad experience, so I decided to give them a try. I went on a Friday morning and it was not busy at all, I liked the fact that I did not have to wait! The nail tech started me off with a pedicure, and I must preface this by saying I am extremely ticklish and hate every moment of any pedicure for this reason. During the pedicure the nail tech cut my nails down extremely short, to the extent that it was painful, at one point I thought I would start bleeding any minute. Other than the cut down, the pedicure looked nice-I opted for a french manicure and it was done very well. Now onto the shellac manicure. I asked for the regular manicure, thinking it would have a soak, cuticle push back/oil, shaping of my nails and the polish. All I got was a soak and polish. Which to me would be a polish change. Again, I opted for the french manicure shellac. The manicure itself looked very nice and at first I was happy with the manicure, despite the missing steps. A few days pass (2 to be exact) and the shellac ALL CAME OFF!!! Shellac is supposed to last longer than regular polish. I was very unhappy with the outcome. Especially for paying over $100.00 for the services! I do not get manicures/pedicures often and I know for certain that I will not go back to The Nails Inc. Just had the best mani/pedi EVER. Brenda and Joan double teamed me to get my hand and feet gorgeous for my HS reunion tonite. Really long sugaring and massage, great technique and really sweet people. I give them 5++ stars! I live in Seattle and it would be worth coming back to town just for the Nail! Got a pedicure here on a whim and the guy doing it kept commenting on what I was wearing and said my tattoo needed touched up. I put my sunglasses on so he would stop talking and he kept going on, saying unprofessional things like "all girls have an anchor tattoo" and "I had a bad one (pedicure) earlier". He told me my sunglasses looked like Harry Potter. I would only come here again if I wanted to be harassed. Not a good experience. read more

I've been to many nail salons in my life and this one takes the cake! :) Linda and all of her employees do an excellent job. The pedis I have gotten there last nearly a month and the massage is fantastic (always wish it would last longer). The price is right $55 for a pedi and gel mani, and they're all very friendly. I highly recommend them. Definitely the best place around these parts. Also, in regards to previous reviews, it is not correct that you can't add a tip to your credit card. Of course they prefer cash, like anyone, but you can add it to your credit card if you don't have cash. Also, I cannot possibly imagine anyone in there getting into a yelling match. They are all soft spoken, kind people. If your manicurist was making small talk and you didn't like it, then tell them you'd rather not have a conversation. Straight talk works. I've had pedis by 4 different people there and each one was fantastic. I have also found that I set the tone for how much conversation I want to have. If I talk a lot, they are more responsive and interested in conversing. If I'm quiet and on my phone, they are quiet and respect that. read more

I come into this salon every other two weeks. I usually get a shellac change or a pedicure. I have never had any issues with this salon. The ladies are friendly and they take their time to do your nails. It is clean, the pedicure chairs are nice and I enjoy coming in! I almost always make an appointment. They do accept walk-ins but I prefer an appt due to the fact that this place may be busy at the time I "walk in" and I prefer not to wait. NEVER AGAIN! I have been here twice now & this trip was the worst- not that the 1st time was great, I just wanted to give them a 2nd chance. It took 2 & 1/2 hours to give me an aweful french manicure with colors. First, she didnt cut my nails enough. I made it clear that I'm active so I need a sporty length & rounded tip. My right hand now has rounded tips & my left is squared. None of my nails (except the broken one) were cut short enough. I wanted a simple pink for the tips, an accent reddish creating a thin line below the tip & the bed of my nails left natural. Thats not what I got @ all. The whole nail is pink with an extremely thin tip of the accent color. The paint is very lumpy & uneven. She broke my nail then didnt shape it properly. There was also a little boy running around with full rein of the nail salon who was absolutely adorable but kept coming over & distracting my manicurist. I think he may be part of why she did such a poor job. There were staff members sitting in the section for pedis that were just talking. They could've entertained the kid so my manicurist could do her job. At one point 1 of my nails was messed up (gel polish) & she kept trying to come up with reasons as to why it was my fault! It wasn't but that's not the point. I dont care whose fault it is, just fix it!!! The massage left a lot to be desired also. I know of another nail salon that is cheaper for a gel mani & they guarantee a gel mani for 2 full weeks. I will give them a lot of credit when it comes to the salon itself. It's clean, nice TV, welcoming decor & although it's scattered all over the salon, there are a lot of polish colors to choose from. Unfortunately, its not enough to bring me back. I had my nails done five mins ago and it looks like a week. When asked to pls have it fixed I was harassed by Lena and stated there's nothing they can do. When I asked to speak to the manager Linda, Lena said she was with a client, yet the manager is always on the phone when doing my nails. Horrible, horrible, horrible. I got acrylic nails on, she didnt even put on clear coat on. she didnt file them down so they werent sharp. Within 2 days 3 nails broke off, and i called to make an appointment to repair them, since it was their bad job that caused them to break so quickly, and was told they would do the repair for the price of a fill. i was shocked they expected me to pay for awful service, again. not only are they awful, they are expensive. do not waste your time or money!! read more

It is an awful place. They do a horrible job and are not professional. I came in intending to do a manicure only but they pushed me to do a manicure and shellac polish. I did not want to do it but i wanted to be kind and did it anyways. After 2 weeks I came back only to take the shellac off, but again they pushed me to get a manicure when i just wanted to take the shellac off. Finally, I again being nice accepted. I have been getting manicures and pedicures for the last two years and am very pleased with their quality of work, friendliness of the staff but most of all the cleanliness of the business.
