I normally go to a nail salon in Franklin, but per the suggestion of some ladies on Facebook, I…read moretried out this salon. It was disappointing to say the least. I asked for almond-shaped nails, which I had previously, and I got oval done instead. The book also advertised colors in a particular way that did not translate to the dip color I picked out - what was supposed to be a rosey mauve was more coral, so she colored it with a darker shade of gel that is still very far from what their display nails depicted. All in all, I feel like my nails look sloppy and far from what I envisioned. It is a bummer to keep driving to Franklin for a manicure, but this did not feel worth the time or money. The nail techs were kind, but I experience far better attention to detail at the one I go to normally (but my regular nail tech is currently out of the country).

I've been a big Luxy girl for years now. I usually get the same women who do my nails really well…read more I always love the shape and Debbie is a doll. Today I went in for a gel soak off and clear polish. That's it. I asked the price of it and was told $15. The lady who did my nails talked me into cutting my cuticles back then she put lotion on my hands and barely rubbed it in. I guess it was supposed to be a hand massage? Anyway, those two things doubled the price of my soak off and clear regular polish. My total was $30.... Such a rip off. My clear was still sticky when I was told to leave, and I had to reshape my nails in the car. I really used to love this place and am hoping this time it was just an overpriced, bad experience.
