I'm giving 3 stars bc For the most part all of the female techs have done nice work. Unfortunately there is a older male tech who doesn't do very good work. I've had him twice now for a gel manicure and both times were bad. I also heard the lady before me talking to him about last time he did her dip manicure and how it peeled off quickly. Another tech was explaining her process to him to prevent it happening in the future, but he isn't new. I've seen him there for quite a while. So if you go, just make an appointment with a specific tech so you don't get stuck with him. $45 for a gel manicure should leave clean nail beds at a minimum. read more

Mani and Pedi, we all need it. This location is in Nolensville, and super cute inside. Full staff and lots of mani and Pedi stations. They probably have the most color collections starting from SNS, and gel polish to regular good ol' manicures. They get busy on the weekends so make sure to call and set up an appt vs walk in. read more

I wrote a review of Nail Loft before and then deleted it because I was embarrassed. In the review, I admitted that after getting a pedi, I got a nail fungus. So gross! So embarrassing! And worse, I couldn't get a pedicure for almost a year while my nail grew out. As there are so many wonderful reviews of The Nail Loft on Yelp, I wondered if it was possible that I picked up the fungus somewhere else. That in mind, I decided to give them another chance. I got a mani/pedi combo. After the girl next to me finished her pedicure, I noticed that they immediately put someone in the same chair. I thought, "That's weird". I hadn't noticed them cleaning the bowl nor do they use plastic liners. But again I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps they cleaned it swiftly when I wasn't looking? (I later learned that even a swift clean is not sufficient. Google it for yourself.) When they moved me from the pedicure chair to the manicure table, I decided to pay close attention. I watched my old chair like a hawk. And sure enough, they placed someone at my old chair without cleaning the bowl. They create a beautiful nail. I've had both good and bad service. The salon is cute. BUT!!! I can't get past the fact that they don't clean their chairs between clients. That's gross and dangerous. read more

Best place to get your nails done in Nashville! I drive 25 minutes every few weeks just to see Joy or Susan for my nail care. The Nail Loft really cares about their clients and takes cleanliness, nail care and customer service seriously. I can say on several occasions they have gone above and beyond during my visit! After having a bad experience at another local nail salon (which will not be named) I wanted to try Nail Loft as it came recommended by a friend. I was greeted upon arrival and asked to pick a color. There was a large selection. I was really impressed with the customer service. I'm 30 weeks pregnant and needed help taking off my booties (I acknowledge they are impractical but really cute). The nail technician helped me! My pedicure looks great and it was $25.00 (without tip) for a regular pedi. Can't beat the price for the quality. Nail Loft you've got a new customer! read more

It really depends on who you get here. Susan is the best nail tech that I have had. However, I haven't been able to get her the past couple of times and my experience wasn't the same. I typically spend about $120 when I make a visit and I usually feel rushed (I always make an appointment) and leave with anxiety. It's not a very peaceful environment. Im reviewing the customer service and pricing, not the actual mani/pedi. I walked into the Nail Loft and it was completely, totally empty. Not one customer. There was a girl at the front desk who mumbled for me to "sign in." Never made eye contact with me, never smiled. I signed my name on a yellow legal pad, and was directed to sit down at a mani table where another girl was cleaning out her purse. Receipts, phones, lipstick, etc all over the table. Awkward. I asked about a french manicure gel. I was told the gel was $35 and a manicure was $10. That was confusing to me, I just wanted a gel manicure. Another awkward! Long story short, they will be happy to paint your nails and put them under the light for $35. Takes all of 10 minutes. However, if you actually want your cuticles maintained, any lotion applied, any filing done, that will be another $10. Total $45 for a simple gel manicure. I left without getting the overpriced service. For my money, I will go down the street to any of the other million nail shops where they actually seem happy to see you ( more money in their pocket) and don't make you feel like a stupid country bumpkin. I come here to get my eyelashes done by Julie and this place is always busy! Julie/eyelash extensions: I decided to get eyelash extensions for my wedding and now that I've gotten so many compliments on it, I can't stop! Julie is really awesome. She takes her time putting every single eyelash on. You can pretty much tell her what look you're going for and she will do it for you! Nail: I got my nails done by Vinh and he was so funny. I wanted to try a different nail color but he insisted on using a diff color on me! I really didn't care because all I wanted was to get the nasty gels I had on. He was right tho! I really loved the color that he picked! It's also really nice to see that they sanitize their nail equipments. Honestly, I haven't seen many places do that so you know you're getting quality and good service here! read more

My nails look perfect! Yinh did a great job and I'll definitely be going back to see him. He has 20+ years experience and you can tell - he works quickly but they look beautiful. I've been there twice so far The first time a man did an acrylic fill. He did ok, but the place was so beautiful and everyone was so nice I thought I'd go back and see if a different person could do a great job. The second time Sharon did my acrylic fill, and she was amazing! She listened to what I wanted and my nails are exactly the way I want them to be. They r rude horrible customer service furthermore there technique with doing nails are below average however it's a pretty salon so if you want to pretty atmosphere but a horrible nail job and fast pedi job I would definitely try this nail salon. I was really excited to see this place move in to the new shopping center because it's so close to my house. They have good hours for a place out in the country, and their prices are great ($15 for mani, $25 for pedi). The ladies are all really nice. They're easy to talk to if you're the chatty type - happy to let you meditate if you aren't. My mani lasted a week, which included some heavy gardening and other yard work - well done, ladies! The atmosphere isn't especially relaxing, but it's usually fairly quiet. My only complaint is that the benches for their drying stations need some work - I felt like I was sitting on a railing :-( read more

Just left after waiting over an hour. Unfriendly and disorganized (someone who came in 15 minutes after me was almost done when I walked out without anyone acknowledging me). Disappointing. Just a simple smile and a simple "I'm sorry you've had to wait so much longer than we said it would be. Someone will be with you in 10 minutes (or however long)" would have been great. Not worth feeling like you're an inconvenience (everyone who works there looks like they hate their jobs and hate being bothered with having customers) and not getting any service at all when there are 5 other nail salons so close by. read more

I used to enjoy going to The Nail Loft, but they starting losing staff and all of their best nail technicians left. Please do not make an appointment with Joy. She is rude, rough and hurried. She makes the whole experience so unpleasant you would be better doing your own nails. They are now left with 4 technicians and that means the chances of you getting Joy are now 4:1. I've given this place three tries and every time the staff has been so rude. They barely greet you when you walk in and give you short one word answers to questions. I've been in there as the only customer and they didn't talk to me they entire time, just each other. The tech who was doing my nails kept stopping to engage in conversation with the other staff - it took twice as long. It's a shame because it's so close to my house, but I don't think I can deal with the experience anymore. read more

I found "The Nail Loft" while out visiting a friend in Nolensville. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and although it was fairly busy, my wait was minimal. All of the girls working up front were friendly. The shop is very trendy and modern. I had a pink and white set done. It turned out great, and the pricing is very reasonable. There are tons of nail salons closer to where I live, but I think I will continue to visit here from now on. read more

Nasty attitude of the owner and snippy technician was my experience . When she messed up on my gel mani and I went back in for her to fix it, she had major attitude with me. My first experience at The Nail Loft for a mani-pedi was disappointing. My pedicure looks good but for $25, I expected a foot massage and extra attention to the dry skin on my heals. Oh well. My manicure, however, was sub-par. I brought my own gel hybrid polish in. It is a two step process that does not require a UV light. Not only did the tech apply the polish rather sloppily, she clipped a cuticle so close that it is still red and tender three days later. She also charged me $20 instead of the $15 for a standard manicure, because my polish was a "gel". I'm not sure why since the hybrid polish requires only two coats of color and a top coat. Less time to apply and no material cost should not cost $5 extra! read more
