She finally came back, and instead of telling me she would just knock off $5 and just take one of my $20s, she said "I will make it easy for you--you can write me a check." I told her I didn't have any checks. She told me she had $13 in change but not $15. Exhausted, I finally told her she could have $2 as a tip (not deserved in this case) and to go ahead and give me the $13. She asked me if I was mad at her. I told her I was not. Then she said "come back. Next time I will give you something free." Really? Next time? You couldn't give me a discount for giving me a terrible pedicure this time??
