I have been debating for a couple days on doing dip on my nails. I have researched multiple salons and asked multiple people for recommendations. I ultimately went with The Nail Lounge and I am so happy with my results!! Kiki (not sure if that is how I spell her name, my apologies) but she was FABULOUS and did a great job! I am very on the fence with dip because I hate when the nails look too thick from the dip powder. She understood that and heard my concerns. I will be returning and recommend this salon! I never thought I'd be writing a negative review about Eva, after being her client for almost two years, but something happened a few days ago that flawed me, and I will never set foot in that salon again. I was booked for a pedicure and an acrylic fill. My pedi was done by Amy, and Eva did the fill in. The salon was very quiet and after my pedi I sat down at Eva's table. Amy followed me and started talking in Mandarin with Eva. This lasted the whole hour. They talked non stop and I was cut out completely it was as if I was invisible. Now, let me also say that English is not my first language. Im Swedish and also have owned a business. Never ever would I hold a conversation in Swedish with a fellow Swede when an English person is sitting only inches away and doesn't understand. Its RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL . Went in before the holidays with my daughters and granddaughters, there were six of us. Much appreciate they could accommodate all of us at the same time. That was the best part. The techs were inconsistent in their ability and also what was included, not included in our visit. I had the woman at the door and she did a great job but the constant interruption of trying to manage others and answering questions was far from a desirable and relaxing experience. But worse was my youngest who ended up with bleeding cuticles from poor work. If I had known before we left I would have notified the manager. My husband and I got pedicures at the Nail Lounge - it was my husband's first ever. To celebrate, we got special mini-spa pedicures. The pedicures were excellent and both technicians did a great job. The special services included paraffin, lemon scrub and 20 minute foot massage. Plus they give a shoulder massage after the pedicure which I have never received anywhere else. I'm not sure how none of the reviews fail to mention that there is NO ventilation in this place and the fumes are awful. 20 min in and I had a headache. Also the place does not appear clean at all. Counters and floors are covered in debris, just giving a very unsanitary feeling. Pedicure is okay but very overpriced. read more

Pricey for the lack of luxury inside ($20 for basic manicure) but the manicure was good and quite quick which I prefer.

First off, no covid restrictions. Everyone was wearing masks, but that's it. No partitions, no plastic, no extra cleaning and he took the Emory board out of his drawer to work on my nails. I didn't see any cleaning going on while I was there. That being said, nice manicure given but no lotions used on hands at all. I found that odd.in addition, my nail tips are a bit rough. I made an appointment days in advance. I was greeted when I entered. They were not ready for me. There were a number of employees and many customers. After a brief wait I had my regular pedicure which was fine, nothing special. Next I was asked to sit & wait until someone became available. After a brief instruction of where to sit, my dip manicure began. It felt rough and rushed. I did not get any feeling that I was anything more than a job. He cut my nails after asking but took it upon himself to decide how short.... Quite a bit shorter than I would have liked. I do a dip manicure on a regular 4-5 week basis so I feel I can compare and contrast. As I was leaving I was thanked by the person in the front station that welcomed me & I was offered a $10 coupon for my next visit. All in all a fair experience. It felt like the focus was on getting as many customers serviced as possible. What happened over the next 48 hours is what was most upsetting. The manicure which I noticed to have tough spots, began to peel. I called to report my issue and they offered to have me come back. I was leaving town and unable to get back. I went here earlier this week to get my nails done for my engagement. I originally wanted acrylics and they suggested the dip nails and explained the difference and sold me on it! It was so much nicer than the acrylics and quicker! I'm on vacation here from California but I will now have to find a place that does them back home, But I wish I could go here. One nail tech started my fill and then handed me off to an inexperienced nail tech. She gave him a laundry list of directions. I payed over $50 and it was a waste of money and time. Went last week to get a dip manicure and it looks great. Went today for a pedicure and it was honestly one of the best pedicures I've gotten. I waited three visits before I did this review. Sometimes you leave a nail salon and your nails look great but shortly after they chip and lift. Not the case here. Eva does a great job on my nails and they stay perfect for 3 to 4 weeks. The salon is extremely clean, the service is impeccable And a shoulder massage while your nails dry. Now I have referred so many of my friends that I can say without a doubt that they are for real. They know how to make an appointment and keep it. If you walk in and it's going to be 15 minutes they will tell you it will be 15 minutes not five just to keep you waiting. The foot massage that you receive during a pedicure is just heavenly and they will give you a shoulder massage while your nails dry too. As someone who comes to Naples often, my family and I have been getting our nails done at the Nail Lounge for a couple of years now. Overall we have had a good experience, but this time was a lot different. We made an appointment in advance just for one of us to have to sit and wait for 45 minutes to get a pedicure, where the man said "it will be just a minute." Not to mention during this time he asked us if we would like water, which I said yes, and then he proceeded to never bring it. Like I mentioned we had an appointment where we had 3 pedicures, 2 full sets, and one overlay fill. This totaled out to be $455, which had us flabbergasted. After that price we didn't tip, $20 for gel on the toes is outrageous. There is no way in a million years the products they are using in that store cost anywhere near that. As my family walked out the man had the audacity to stop us and ask, "Are you going to tip my staff?" My tip to you would be don't charge outrageous prices on your mediocre services, and maybe give some more of your income to your employees instead. It's not like my nails look amazing, and for that price they should. Not to mention the gel they are using to build their acrylics now BURNS. It literally made me sweat sitting their in the chair. My sister who got a full set experienced the same thing as-well. I understand that some people in Naples have $100 to slap down on a tip, but that isn't how it is for most people. As an Indiana native person the tipping culture down here is outrageous. I've never been a person to not tip when I'm getting a service, but I've also never had to pay $500 for services. We will be looking for other Salons in the future, and if you have any recommendations let me know! read more
