I just finished up a wonderful pedicure with Kim. I did the refreshing pedicure with normal nail polish. My mom also had a pedicure with Ann. She had the refreshing pedicure as well but with gel polish. Both were great! Both Anne and Kim were gentle, clean and consciousness. We felt refreshed and relaxed. I was asked to pay for my nails halfway through the service. Upon signing, she grabbed the slip from me, looked at my tip (20%) and rolled her eyes. From there I could tell she was ready to go onto the next customer. Cleanliness is also a 0/10 as she did not clean the tools she used on me. I won't be returning to this establishment. The associate that gave me my manicure was obviously in a hurry to move on to the next customer. Consequently, my manicure was sub-par: nails were clipped irregularly, poorly filed and cuticles not addressed. All of my cuticles were left bleeding. The lady who did my nails took a sharp electric tool and went under my nail which also made me bleed. They didn't take the time to complete the full manicure and by that I mean there is still color on the tips of my fingers and on my skin. I got acrylics about 2 weeks ago. I had a horrible gut feeling as she filed the **** out of my nails (which have always been very healthy) before applying the glue. I understand some scruffing is needed but this was almost full on filing down my nails. Every time I asked her to even up one of the nails she would roll her eyes and aggressively file, making it even more uneven. Once she finished, the nails were very uneven and the polish on top was see-through in some spots. Keep in mind, I've had acrylics about 10 times in the past and have NEVER had such rude, rushed, and horrible service. Today, I decided to take the acrylics off (soaked, no scratch or pulling) and braced myself for some scruffs on my nails but was shocked by the amount of scratches and splitting that had happened. Worst nail experience I've ever had. The workers were extremely rude. From the moment we walked in the young lady couldn't find our reservation and seemed annoyed we were there. Then the lady gets the pedicure water ready and it's scalding hot. (As were the towels they used) They seemed so agitated and miserable with their lives/job. The place was so quiet they didn't make conversations with any of their customers not one employee was nice. Then I say I wanted to have the full manicure cuticles cut etc and she says no you get polish change only. I've never experienced a place that did NOT want/appreciate my business. She slaps on the polish as quickly as she can doing a horrible job and puts my hands under dusty nasty fans that halfway worked. Then before my mothers nails are finished the workers are demanding payment as if they don't expect to be paid at the end. I've lived in Franklin my whole life and have never had such a bad experience. We waited forever to be helped. Finally were. I told the guy to not cut the cuticles on one of my toe's that easily becomes ingrown. 5 different times he tried to touch it. (He very clearly understood what I was saying because he then made fun of me.) Finally I said to him " please, stop. I've asked you multiple times to not touch that." He then preceded to cut my nails all the way down, as short as they'd go without even asking me, and they are slanted down and crooked. We told him which pedicure we wanted and he said "nope. My daughters visited tonight for nail appointments. One ended up with crooked nails and not the requested shape and the other had her skin nicked with the electric nail file not to mention it was very hot while it was in use. One expressed her dissatisfaction with the nails while there was still time to make the correction but the technician, Karen, did not listen or see the issue. The third nail is crooked as well as the index finger nail nor did I get the almond shape requested. My other daughter complained about the nail file being too hot and nicked her. They seem distracted and acted like they wanted to leave and close for the day. Very Poor and disappointing service. Our Business will be going to another salon. I had my nails dipped today for the first time. I'm always super friendly I know jobs can become mundane and I always want people to know that even if I'm paying for a service that I appreciate you. The woman who did my nails was not friendly at all. Boarderline rude. I had to insist she redo a nail because it had a chunk out of the bottom from the Dremel. NOT CLEAN - they don't clean their tools or use new anything. I was there at closing and watched them just put things back in the basket at their desk, and the basket was filthy. She made several cuticles bleed and then just buffed over them and stuck everything back in the basket at the end. I was told it would be about a 10 min wait(totally fine) Asecond lady walked up and said "Hi-what do you want?" I again said I had wanted a gel mani-pedi. I got there at 330p (6ppl total) so after asking why I was there she then said "no appt? "I said "no,sorry"she then told me 30 or more min wait I said "ok, that's fine" baziinga! $104.00 for gel mani/pedi. The lady had balls to ask me if I've ever had my nails done (pricing) I said "yes, but I know that gel isn't +25 on top of the 40 for a pedicure " she looked at me like I had the audacity to speak up & said "gel expensive-not 10 dollar more" & "he knows to warn people about prices now" I told them they were crazy "it's price gouging bc it's a nice area. All I know is this place is a SH!thole establishment. Oh and no sanitation with tools, dropping file on floor & not opening up new supplies is gross. Plus you didn't offer clients disposable flip flops. After my mani never told me to wash my hands & no towels on counter, using tissue so you didn't have to wash another towel. Worst decision going here EVER!! To belittle your clients who come to relax you have a crappy way of showing it. I went in for an acrylic full set. Right away they said they didn't have anyone available to do acrylics, but they could do dip powder instead. I went ahead with dip powder and tips. When she was about to cut my nails, I told her I wanted them long. She began cutting them short, so I said "can I please have them longer" to which she replied "no". I've never been denied on the length I could get for my nails, especially because I'm paying for them. After she told me no, I told her that I normally get them very long so I didn't see the issue, and she began talking to the man next to her as they were talking about my nails. She still told me no, and continued with the service. While she was doing my nails, I began readjusting in my chair but kept my hands still because my back was beginning to hurt. The woman yelled "stop moving" to me. Toward the end of the service, I told her I'd like a Gel top coat, that way I could walk out as soon as I was done. She said okay, and put on a regular top coat to which I had to sit to finish drying, which wasn't what I asked for. Although this review is lengthy, it is not an exaggeration of my experience at the Nail Parlor. This was the **worst** experience I've had in a customer service setting. I went with two friends for manicures and we were hoping to sit next to each other since we had called ahead and made an appointment the day before. No such luck. My one friend was taken to a station and was left waiting for her nail tech for a few minutes. Her nail tech walked up, stood next to the station and yelled to the receptionist "who's nails am I doing?!" In a rude and unprofessional tone. The receptionist pointed to my friend and the nail tech shouted "her??" She sat down at the station, took my friend's hands and again in a rude tone said "you need to relax!" My friend was completely taken aback, but didn't say anything. The nail tech again took her hands and shouted "you need to relax!" This is supposed to be a fun and relaxing service and for someone to shout at a paying guest is not only rude, but completely unprofessional. My other friend and I chose our nail colors and were taken to stations in the back of the shop. I noticed while we walked back that clients had wine and beverages while they had their nails done. Neither myself nor my friends were offered anything to drink. Strike two. I sat down at the station and the man working there began my service. There was no towel or anything down on the counter and I could feel the dust and debris from the services before me still on the counter. I should have just gotten up and left at this point. He cleaned and shaped my nails and once he was done he stood up and walked away without saying anything. I wasn't sure if he needed me to follow him or what. I saw him walk in to the break room and about 5 minutes later a woman saw me sitting and waiting and she went into the break room to figure things out. As the door opened I saw my nail tech eating, and holding a soda ??? That couldn't wait until after my service? I was so shocked. After an additional 10 MINUTES of waiting a woman came over to my station, sat down and began shaping my nails. No introduction or explanation. I told her my nails had already been shaped and cleaned. She opened the drawer of the station and put away the file and tools in the drawer. No sanitation or cleaning of any kind. GROSS!! She also dropped a few things on the floor and continued using them as well as sharing implements and tools with the nail techs next to her. She then polished my nails and asked how I would like to pay. I have NEVER experienced such HORRIBLE customer service. I'm sad to give this place 1 star. Jenny is the best thing there. So... The last week in June, my father and I went in for pedicures. We were moving, so we wanted to treat ourselves. Well I don't even know her name, but she stomps around like she owns the place, never smiles and doesn't even try to chat with me as a client. I'm back at the chair. Feet in the water. And I count at least 5 times she gets up and leaves me soaking... In cold water but I digress. She's so busy with getting new customers seated she isn't even paying attention to what she's doing to me. Flash forward 2 weeks... I have an infection in my toe and its oozing. I've been on antibiotics for a week and nothing is better. Went to the dr today and I have an ingrown toenail. I asked him the usual "how bad? From one pedicure? Or several?" He said 1. We she's the last one to touch my foot! Needless to say he had to remove part of my nail to fix this problem. When I called, they wanted me to come down. So after my "procedure" I drove through traffic to have a face to face and she basically belittled my injury, and demanded to see the nail. (Mind you I was bleeding through the bandage). First let me just talk about the pricing. It's $53 just to do dip nails which a $8 extra than any other place charges. Then they charge $5 to shape the nails. Yeah just shape. I enjoy this salon. My "regular salon" closer to my house has suddenly started trimming nails differently, and I can't explain why, but it makes one toe on my foot develop an ingrown nail every time. Visited here last week, and no problems. Very clean salon, nice folks who work here, and good selections. The technicians actually talk to you, and in English, and while I respect other cultures and other salons' staff being able to talk in private, I like that. Bonus #2 if you want a gel manicure and want to try the powder method, it is not an additional upcharge over the gel price. My other salon charges more for gel. I'll definitely be back! read more

AWFUL experience. I was sitting by myself with the tech and rather plastic guard. The other women were across the room going pedicures. As soon as I put my mask down to take a breath, the manager/or lady in charge publicly said "fix your mask" I said I am trying to breath. She went off in Vietnamese talking about me loudly. I stood up and asked her to stop this was unprofessional. She began going off about her kids and COVID non stop I repeatedly asked her to stop. Finally I said I will have to leave. She said, "Good, go". This incited the women getting pets. They stop up clapping and cussing at me. The manger did nothing. I've never experienced such harassment. They even couldn't figure out if I had gel or sns. Incredible confusion but the harassment is unacceptable. I love nearby and will never return. Girls trip to Franklin so we decided to get mani-pedi's. My friend that lives there asked me which service did I want. Looked on their website and picked both options. We made appointments but still had to wait 20 minutes before any of us were serviced. Also, the menu in the salon is different than the one on the website. Website said complimentary beverages, we were offered nothing. The technician who performed my pedicure never told me her name and then spoke to her fellow co-worker in Vietnamese the whole time. Never smiled or anything. She then performed my manicure. Thank goodness I picked a light color because it is awful. As far as the tools, I did notice that my technician opened a sealed bag with her tools inside. However, when I had my manicure done, some of the tools she used did not look clean. Hopefully, I don't get any nasty fungus. Being from CA, I've had plenty of mani-pedi's...this place needs a complete re-haul. Unless you have a specific technician you see, pick another salon.
