Loved the outcome of my full set and fill, but when I was scheduled for my 2nd fill I was asked to reschedule due to sickness, ok- no problem. I was told I would be added to a cancellation list. After not hearing back in over a week I asked a mutual friend to reach out to the nail tech. She messaged me then and explained she was "too busy" now, all of a sudden and could no longer take me as a client. She also added: "With the salon, I do not feel comfortable with having any conflicts between clients. Unfortunately a few long standing clients have reached out to the salon with concerns. Which again I have to prioritize. This not being my own salon I could not allow for what could potentially be a bad experience for my clients or other nail technicians and their clientele. This isn't a business that I worked 30'years creating. Someone else did." I do not know anyone else at the salon or who goes to the salon, I've only been there twice. I asked for an explanation and was blocked. I was always on time and tipped well, even when I was there for over 2 hours just to get a fill! The owner is incredibly unprofessional, clearly does not care about their reputation. read more

I go to the Nail Place every 4 weeks for my JB lash extensions. Michelle is a true professional. She makes my lashes look full, long and natural. I have also had a gel manicure by Ali....LOVE HER! I don't normally get my nails done, but for special occasions, I splurge. Ali is very creative and is excited about her work. I can't say enough good things about the Nail Place. They also have a cute little gift shop. I am looking forward to getting a pedicure there as well. Oh... And the Nail Place is super clean! That's a biggie;) read more

I wanted to give Andrea and her daughter some business because I am in the neighborhood. So I decided to give them a try, to support local businesses First off I will say I called for an appointment they told me Andrea the owner would call me back. So no kidding 1045pm I get this number thinking it was an emergency from family. No turns out to be Andrea (owner of this salon) who calls a customer that late this was definitely not professional at all. She tells me 7pm Monday, I said ok. I get a text saying could I come in a 6pm instead of 7? I said sure no problem. I get there 5 to 6pm, walk to the door her daughter tells me she's running late, to go sit in my car. No kidding, I almost sat in my car waiting 15 mins. That bothered me every much. I am easy going and said well I'll give her the benefit of a doubt. I will say she is a nice women, so is her daughter. The salon is old fashioned needs a lot of updates, but cute. So she did my acrylic nail set, I wanted Easter colors. I noticed that the nails were extremely thick, uneven and bumpy. When I went to cash out she charged me $65 for a full set in my head I couldn't believe it my mouth almost dropped to the floor but I wanted to be polite. Plus a tip. She wanted to see me back in two weeks, when I tell you that literally not even five days after I had my nails done they started looking terrible, I was getting comments from people saying how awful my nails look who did I go to? Why are they so thick? You could see how the nails looked like they were about three weeks old rather than five days old. I was so embarrassed, not even a week into having them and two of them broke yes I did hit them on the bed rail but because they were so thick I think that that's why they were easily cracked. So I texted Andrea and asked her if she could get me in to fix my nails Andrea said that she would get back to me the following day. It was really bothering me how bad they were looking. I never heard back from her until a day and a half later at that point I was just so upset that I ended up calling a different salon who got me in right away. When I went to this other salon they were laughing and in shock how diss formed my nails looked and how thick they were, they were in such bad shape that painfully I had to have them removed and a new set put on. Andrea says she's been in business over 30 years and I find it hard to believe because this was not a professional job maybe she was having an off day but the bottom line is the cost was too high, she really is not on top of getting back to her clients. For me it was a Complete nightmare. It was very painful to have these nails removed. I'm just really truly disappointed in not only how bad the nails ended up looking but the customer service. Now I have had my new nails for well over a week they look like I just had them put on. I will not plan to ever go back there. read more

I have been delighted with the service The Nail Place has given me for about 20 years now! Their pricing is very reasonable, not cheap and not the high end like some salons. The shop is very cute and always immaculate! Andrea and Ali are always there to please. Ali has amazing talent for the most beautiful details - gems, pearls, intricate designs - always amazed at her beautiful creations. If you follow her on Instagram you will see exactly what I mean. Brittanee has done my gel nails, mani and pedi for the last year or so, I LOVE HER!! Today she went above and beyond!! I mentioned I wanted #Buffalobills nails....she practiced her new techniques to get my fancy Zuba like nails PERFECT!!! They look so cool!! So then...on top of that I get a facial, sooooo relaxing, she is new to Reiki, and did a little of that added on! Aaaaand waxed my brows, and upper lip! I'm obsessed with my nails! I got a Mani pedi with Brittanee and she was great! She was able to do some floral details on my nails that just turned out so perfect and exactly what I wanted. Prices were very reasonable for gel nails and the salon is comfortable and super clean. Everyone there was so professional and friendly and you can tell they are just so talented and great at what they do. On a somewhat unrelated note, the owner here also volunteers for an animal shelter which I was really excited about, I'm glad to support a business that cares so much about animals and promoting rescues. I had a great experience with The Nail Place. My wedding was in a few days and I wanted a manicure and a pedicure, as an out of town bride, I wasn't sure where to go so I followed Google reviews and found The Nail Place. The Nail Place is appointment only but they were able to fit me in within a 24 hour period. I had Brittanee do my nails and she gave me an excellent pedicure complete with foot massage and my first gel manicure. I also came back the next day for a facial with Brittanee. As my wedding was in a few days, she did no extraction and focused on reducing redness and pumping my skin. Afterwards, she took about 10 minutes to describe what she did and also make suggestions on how I could enhance my daily skin regiment. The only negative about The Nail Place is that I found it difficult to find what services they offered and prices anywhere online. Next time I am in Buffalo, I will make sure to call Brittanee for another facial. read more
