People were very rude. They seemed annoyed to have to do our nails, and we just got simple gel manicures. They filed our skin down so it bled, and they got gel all over our finger skin! Overall we felt very uncomfortable and will not go back. read more

My mom and I visited this salon for the first time yesterday and did not have the greatest experience. We both decided to go for pedicures, and the quality was truly lacking. My pedicurist cut two of my toenails diagonally, instead of in a straight line. She also failed to paint my toenails evenly; many of my toes are lighter at the bottom than at the top. My mom had a better experience, but even her pedicurist left nail polish on one of her toes. When we came home, we both had to edit our nails. I know we came in the day before a holiday and that they were busy. Perhaps the quality of their work suffered as a result? I'm not sure but I know I will not be back. read more

I have finally found a GREAT nail salon! I have been very dissatisfied with the salons in my area. I decided to give The Nails Place a try even though it only had one review. I am so thankful that I did. Everyone was super nice at this place, but the reason for the two stars is because I went in to get my gel shellac removed and a new coat put on. They started me out by having me stick my fingers in straight alcohol which didn't help my already dry hands, then when they were cutting my cuticles they nicked me three times. I can't remember the last time I was nicked while getting my nails done. The lady did an ok job with the polish, but my nails have blood all around the cuticle now. Best nail salon in Parker! I get acrylic nails and I like them short. They look more natural and they still look great and don't need a rebase for almost a month. Aileen is one of the owners with her husband Phillip they are the sweetest. I have been coming here for years and I always get compliments on my nails. Pedicures are amazing as well. I love this place. I have been to several nail salons in the surrounding area but this place always does an excellent job. They are clean and do a great job. My nails last several weeks without breaking or popping off. Can't say the same for other places. I travel from Centennial to this place simply because of the quality of work they do. Terrific Pedicure! No up-saleing. Beautiful shop and very comfortable chairs!!! I'm from Arizona and only in town visiting family. I went on Yelp to find a good place for my mother and I to have a manicure. I called The Nail's Place and spoke with Phillip. He reserved two places for us, as we couldn't get there for another 30 minutes. My mother loves to chat with anyone who is giving service to her and she truly enjoyed chatting with Sammie. The chairs are super comfortable, the surroundings are very inviting and all of the employees are very kind and helpful. The price was wonderful, and the best thing of all was that there wasn't any "Up-sales." No asking "Do you want x,y,z for only $8 more??" Nothing. And still a callous remover treatment was given to me, included!! There wasn't a lot of business, so we were allowed to stay in the chairs for another 30 minutes, which was awesome for my mom, who doesn't get around well (82 years old). Phillip was terrific (he did my pedicure), and I'll be going back when I'm in town again!!! read more

Based on Ash E.'s review, I decided to give Luan a try at The Nail's Place last Monday, Sept 23. OMG. A+ service, she was sooooo nice, so gentle and held a quiet conversation with me throughout. She is experienced and I am so grateful that I went. Never again will I go to Ten Nails or Daisy Nails in Parker, I have found the one I want to stick with from now on! Do yourself a favor and go to Luan where she will treat you with respect and she simply does a fabulous and thorough job. Ugh! Had been coming here long before the new owners took over (about a year ago) and loved it, I'm very loyal when I find a great nail place, and it's hard these days to find a place that does acrylic pink/whites. Jacqueline is my girl, and does a GREAT JOB ... however, apparently, she's no longer there. I had my usual monthly appointment scheduled with her, but called a day before to see if she could see me any earlier, and was told by Thomas - the new owner, that oh, yeah, Jacqueline is "on vacation for several weeks" so wouldn't have been there the next day when I showed up for my appt. I told Thomas that someone should have called me to let me know ... my appointment is with HER and no one else, as it has been for the past couple years. He just laughed (no apology) and said they'd do a great job for me. Ok, since it was too late to go elsewhere, I went in for my appointment with someone who they hired to replace Jacqueline and, she did a HORRIBLE job! There are bumps in the pink, one nail is a much darker pink than the rest, she screwed up the white on 2 nails so went in afterwards and used nail polish to clean it up rather than white powder so the whites are different colors ... and not only that, she took 90 mins and hardly said a word to me. My appt is for a pedi and a wax as well but I left w/out those services, no thanks. Then, as I was leaving, I asked Thomas, "So Jacqueline quit?" He said, "yes, she quit" but then said she'd be back in "several weeks" but could give no date. My guess is, he just doesn't want to lose my business, but he did. I'll never go back. Someone should have called me to let me know my regular girl would not be there to do my nails, and given ME the option of whether to come in or go elsewhere. I think his forte is lashes, not nails and not running a salon. Good luck, because every time I've been in there, they are DEAD, and Jacqueline was the only one busy. I know I'll never be back. The person who did my nails talked me into a gel manicure - I was hesitant, but he told me that if it did not work for me he would refund the cost. Sold! I am not a nail salon person, but I wanted something different than what I do at home, so I walked in on a whim and asked for "galaxy nails," like I've seen all over Pinterest. The manicurist hadn't done such nail art before, and there was the added challenge of my short nails, but she took a look online and created a special and unique design that ended up being pretty awesome. I will take a photo and upload in better lighting soon, but I am very happy with my first experience at The Nail's Place, and would recommend it to anyone looking for people who want to deliver good service and value to their customers. read more

I took my 4year old here for a mother-daughter mani and pedi. They were able to get us in right away which was awesome! The salon was clean. They did a nice job on our nails and even gave my daughters cute little flowers which was very sweet and made her day. However, when we walked in we were barely acknowledged. The gentleman was on his phone and hardly looked up to welcome us to the salon. When we sat down, one of the nail techs was taking calls and talking on her phone the majority of the time she was doing our nails. Those things didn't ruin our experience, but it did seem pretty unprofessional. read more

I had a pedicure there. Had to get antibiotics to get rid of the infection in my toes. They have the jetted whirlpool style pedicure chairs, but do not circulate freshwater to clear the pipes between clients. So, when you sit down for a pedicure, the crud from someone else's feet is circulated into your fresh water. The lady who did my pedicure, Gi, used her thumb nails to clean up the excess polish in my toe nail cuticles. Her nails were so sharp she cut my cuticles. They became infected. I tried to cure infection with antibiotic ointment, but it did not work. I do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I've been here in the past so thought I'd try them again I went in for a full pink and white acrylic set Thomas was finishing with a previous client so I waited a bit. First, he did not wash his hands after he finished the client before me. They were sticky from product. I asked him to please wash. He declined. I know the size tips that fit my nails, so before he started on me I requested the sizes. He ignored that, told me I would be fine. Thomas slopped the liquid all over my fingers during the entire process. Monomer is not supposed to be on the skin. Of coarse a small amount will get on cuticles but my fingers were wet and sticky. When he finished applying the product I asked if I could wash. He said no. Then he filed, with the files he used on the previous client! Never sanitized them. I showed him his the tips were to small, he blew that off to. That night my fingertips and nails throbbed. So much aggressive filing and product damage. It's now a week later and the tips are growing out, with my nails underneath sticking out on the sides as the tips are not my nail size. Two of them were put on crooked, so my fingers look deformed. UGH! I hope Thomas can clean up his salon and LISTEN to client requests. I will have to start with another new set when these grow out. read more

I recently moved from LA to Parker, Co. I have been looking for a nail place out here, and looking through reviews to see who was the best for what I want. I gave the nail place a shot and I'm so glad I did. I called in for an appointment for a full set- $30. When I got there I received they have so many different powders for the tips so I start browsing through them. Phillip helped me because I like switching it up every time so he stated we could do paint over it and design if I wanted it during my fill. So I ended up getting a really pretty black with purple and green sparkles inside for my tips ($45). Phillip was so gentle. I'm used to the manicurist being rough with the files but he was super gentle. Also, I LOVE the fact he was talking to me while doing my nails. Most of the places I go to they basically just ignore me and it makes me feel awkward. I definitely plan on coming here for my nails in the future, I even saw one of the manicurist do Halloween designs and they look so good!! read more
