    The "Trailer park dog".

Probably the best hot dog I've had in my life. The french fries were amazing too. More than enough serving size, quite tasty and the customer service was on point.

The pastrami Reuben Dog, I'd have taken a 2nd picture but it didn't make it!

Visiting Savannah & was told that the world's greatest hot dog was at a little hut behind the old market on River St, so of course I had to proof that statement! You can't just throw out World's Best on a whim! Well, I'm not certain that's it's 100% THE WORLDS Best but it's pretty damn close! I suggest the pastrami Reuben dog but trust me there's no bad choice! For you anti-dog people, It's my understanding they serve an equally as good double cheeseburger! It's a MUST stop, if you are wondering around old Savannah!

a fair rendition of proper hot doggery given the distances involved and constant pressure to conform. my familiarity with the art says these are whirlable (to borrow a phrase) so give them one if you are in the area. totally touristy snack shack on the waterfront amid a sea of seats. step up to the window place your order, find a table and listen for your name. a little heavy on the celery saltiness and the peppers are of uncertain pedigree but my Chicago style dog looked the part for the most part and tasted goodly. MLB's Brookliner is pretty much bullet proof, hard to mess up hot kraut and deli mustard :-) fries were hot, crispy, and completely wrong for the pairing (if you have to ask...) but geographically sound and good with ketchup.

I chose this truck outside the hospital that I work at in the parking lot. I was a little hesitant since hot dogs aren't usually something that I would order anywhere. But I did see that they had a rueben option so I decided to give it a go. Boy was I glad I did this sandwhich was amazing. The saurkraut and the sauce was amazing. Way better than I ever imagined for a hot dog.

Q: What did the hot dog bun say to the hot dog? A: Stop touching my buns! Who just found his new Hot Dog spot in Savannah? This guy. I know that Hot dogs may not be everybody's thing but I have a great affinity for them. This establishment did not disappoint. Come on down to the river walk, force yourself to stomach the view and eat a dog stare at the scenery and people watch if you like as well. I love the selection. I bought three dogs and loved them and that is before we even talk about the toppings. Eisenberg? Yep, what the heck is that? A scientist? E=MC squared? Nope I guess he is the guy who invented cool points, and then after he gave himself all of those he then invented the hot dog? Well I ain't a history major obviously but I am a 200+ pound man who likes to eat and this Eisenberg Dog is good. I tried as many as I could by getting dogs for me and my family and I will be back. When I return they better be closed or I may buy them out. Can that happen? It might Italian Ice, Burgers and shakes too, but this is a Hot dog place first so try that first. I mentioned those as an afterthought for a reason because ....you want a dog? They got a dog for you. Thanks for the visit and see you next time that I visit. Q: What did the Buddhist monk say to the hot dog vendor? A: Make me one with everything.

    Cheese and slaw dog...my favorite

I had no idea this place existed. With a name like the Naked Dog it must be good, right? If you're ever on River Street, possibly showing your out of town family around, and don't want or necessarily have the time to sit at one of the restaurants, check out the Naked Dog. You'll get a juicy dog that can be dressed in all sorts of unusual dressings. My favorite is the slaw and cheese dog. It's filling and doesn't make me regret my meal as it doesn't feel like it just sits in my stomach. The cheese is actual shredded cheese...not the pumped cheese you may expect. Other options include kraut, chili, and of course the more "normal" toppings like ketchup, relish and mustard.

    Chilli dog and fries.

Excellent hot dog and fries. I had the chilli dog and it was perfect - loved the soft poppy seed bun. My husband had the slaw dog and it was fine in 3 bites . We just wanted a small bite for lunch and this was perfect. We also sat at a nice table looking at the water while we ate.

I was hesitant to try a Chicago hot dog but my boyfriend swore by them and I was just looking for a quick snack between lunch and dinner so we stopped. The service I didn't pay attention to but it came out quick. The dogs were so so good and even tho the neon green relish scared me it was delish!! Now I will be searching for these hot dogs all the time.

Quick and delish! The Reuben dog is very good. Get a large- ordered the regular and definitely could have enjoyed the large.

We weren't sure if we'd find good hotdogs in Savannah. But this place is where it's at. A small food truck-ish looking place on river street. Staff is friendly and the hotdogs are the bomb. Love the poppyseed bun. Come here!!!! You won't be disappointed.

    Brandi C.

Great little place with a very friendly staff. I really enjoyed the fact that when you order, you're not just another customer, you are treated like a friend. We tried it on a whim (being hot dog connoisseurs) and had to come back the next day before we left to have another! I had the slayer with everything on it and fries(really good fried btw). Everything was SO GOOD! Definitely try this place if you enjoy a good hot dog.

    Annie F.

If you are down on River Street and are looking for a light lunch, this is your spot! The hotdogs and fries are cooked when you order so you can be sure your meal will be nice and hot when you get it. This is by far one of the best hotdogs I have ever eaten. Not only is the food delicious, but you will have a beautiful scenic spot to enjoy your meal.

My husband and I decided on a few to split (not knowing their size): a classic Naked dog with classic toppings (ketchup, mustard, relish); a slaw dog; a Reuben dog; and a Chicago dog.

No, but my first choice would have been the food trucks (that were not scheduled to arrive while I was there) and next time, even if I still don't time it right, there will plenty of other things to try. That, with some board game time, two beers from the bar, and absolutely perfect weather for being outside, made for a great day here.

We tried the Smashburger special with fried Brussels sprouts tossed in a sticky Asian glaze -- and I say this as a Brussels enthusiast: some of the best I've had in my life. The pulled pork sandwich was a hit with the kids (zero leftovers = five-star review). The mac and cheese disappeared faster than I could taste it. And yes, we got the tots -- well seasoned and totally necessary. No dine-in space, but honestly? Sitting in the car with the A/C blasting, swapping bites with the kids, and not worrying about anyone spilling on a restaurant floor felt just right.
