Amazing! We are from a place where you can't get fresh seafood so this place hit the spot! When we…read morearrived the place was busy but they had a lot of seating both inside and outside. We opted to sit outside because the weather couldn't have been better. We had a view of a canal where we were able to see some dolphins swimming around which was fun to see. To start our meal we ordered a bucket of steamed oysters (we had to shuck them but it wasn't to hard) For our main course we decided on a Half and Half Seafood Boil and a Snow Grab plate was the perfect amount for us to share. We did order a couple of the local beers they had in stock and they all were very good.

Everything was fresh, seasoned perfectly, and exactly what you hope for when you're craving a seafood boil. The beer was ice cold, which made it even better. The setting is what really makes this place special. You're eating right on the water, the picnic tables have built-in trash cans for all the shells, and the whole place has a laid-back, old-school coastal vibe that's hard to find anymore. After we finished eating, we fed the alligators, which was such a fun way to end the meal. This is one of those places you remember long after your trip. We'll be coming back every time we're in the Savannah/Tybee area.

Don't let the outside fool you. It did me last year, but this year we went ahead and tried it…read more Sundae Cafe is wedged between a liquor store and a convenience store, this is apparently a thing on Tybee island. What you find inside is a nicely appointed restaurant with a beautiful long bar which we highly recommend you eat at. Our bartender Christy was amazing. But more about her later, right now I will talk about the food. We started with the margarita scallops, which was chunks of seared scallops soaked in margarita on toasted wonton chips with a black bean corn, salsa and drizzle with a local aioli, YUM! We also had their fried green tomatoes, which came with apricot horseradish sauce and aoli. Kiki had the catch of the day, which was a grilled piece of grouper atop mediterranean couscous and a medley of mediterranean vegetables. I had the prime rib, which came with lobster Chili Churri butter and a brandy peppercorn sauce. Both entrees were amazing. Now back to our bartender Christie. To say that she wears many hats is an understatement. She greeted us when we sat at the bar, by the way, did I mention that you can reserve seats at the bar? She described the menu items in a way that you only expect to find from a waiter in the finest restaurants in the world. She addressed any and all allergy issues relating to these dishes all the while she is making drinks for patrons at the bar as well as handling the service bar for all the patrons in the restaurant. Without missing a beat, she takes our order.Buses plates from other customers and continues to make drinks for everybody in the restaurant. At this point I think I told her her new nickname should be the Flash. At one point during our dinner, we saw her serve a bottle of wine to another couple at the end of the bar. Her presentation was that of a full wine sommelier with pouring a taste for approval while showing the label of the bottle as she waited for the customers approval then pouring the glasses after approval was given. List of hats: Bartender Bar Back Waiter Sommelier Entertainer Influencer to a new generation of food service, people on Tybee island. ( She babysat the owner of Bubba Gumbo's.) Lest I forget she is also the General Manager of the restaurant. She is someone that I would like to call friend after meeting her once and eating at her restaurant only once.

Started with some bread, a scallop appetizer and salad which was pretty good. Our main dishes are spectacular, the flavors are amazing, best prime rib I have ever had, complements to the chef's. For dessert we had Banana pudding cheese cake. Melissa our waitress was excellent, knew her specials, friendly and professional kept up with us and made sure we had what we needed. The atmosphere is great, not a large dining room but it is a beautiful restaurant. The only thing when at capacity it is loud, so it is at times hard to hear your own conversation. I (we) highly recommend this restaurant when on Tybee Island, The restaurant is open till 9:00pm so make a reservation.

Location is fantastic, you are right next to the beach and there's a constant breeze coming from the ocean (always bring something to wear on top). The ambience is overall very cute, simple and romantic at the same time. Also nice to enjoy with family (grown up family - I feel like kids wouldn't have a lot of space to run around ). We had chips and dips, two cocktails (key lime martini and pink flamingo) and a white wine (brut). My favorite was definitely the key lime martini, but that's of course a matter of taste. If I were in tybee island for more days, I would most likely be at this place every evening! (They also have food, but we got here for an after dinner)

We didn't stay and eat in restaurant, but it wasn't too loud or cramped when we picked it up. The server over the phone misheard me a lot and got a few things wrong with our order, but they were very small and not super consequential. The shrimp was yummy but I wish the seasoning hadn't all been on the outside of the shell. But everything was well made and we ate it up so quickly!
