We highly recommend ChooChoo Chicago for child care…read more Both of our children have attended ChooChoo since infancy--our older daughter started at 2 months old, and our younger daughter is scheduled to begin at around 3 months old. Because of work, we spent a year out of state with our older daughter and had the opportunity to experience another daycare. That comparison made us appreciate even more how special ChooChoo is. What stands out most is the warm and supportive community. The teachers, parents, and children create a genuinely friendly environment where everyone is kind and willing to help one another. Our experience with the teachers has been exceptional. One of our children was born with low birth weight and needed physical therapy during infancy. The teachers were incredibly accommodating with therapy schedules and consistently helped reinforce the exercises recommended by our physical therapists throughout the day. Thanks to everyone's teamwork, she successfully met her developmental milestones and is now doing just as well as her peers. As first-time parents, we truly felt that the teachers were our partners in raising our children. We worked together toward the same goal: helping our kids thrive. Mrs. Mia deserves special recognition. She takes rules and standards very seriously and does not make exceptions based on personal relationships. Because of her leadership, ChooChoo consistently maintains high standards for cleanliness, safety drills, and illness policies. As parents, that gives us tremendous peace of mind. If we had to mention one downside, it would be that the facility is smaller than many daycare centers we saw elsewhere. That said, this is simply the reality of childcare centers in the city, and nearby daycares are generally similar in size. When we moved back to Chicago, we didn't even consider other options. We are grateful for the care and dedication of everyone at ChooChoo, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to any family looking for a nurturing, safe, and professional daycare.

Our daughter started with them around 1 year old and transition fairly quickly from infant to toddler class. We have seen our girl's growth and the teachers give us constant updates on her progress. ChooChoo takes security and the children's wellbeing very seriously. Teachers make sure they know every parent and child, even from different classrooms, to make sure strangers are not allowed into the center. They have a daily check in and out system to make sure every child is accounted for. For the toddler class onwards, they try to take the kids out everyday to the park and i think the kids really enjoy that. We love the Brightwheel app they use and the teachers constantly post updates and pictures throughout the day so we can be updated on our child's day.

During my tour, I was a little hesitant because I loved our old daycare so much but we moved and the commute was too much. The environment here is wonderful and much better than our previous daycare. The class is structured but allows for flexibility to meet individual child's needs. The director Mrs. Aryna is professional and prompt to responding to questions. All the teachers are kind. The place is extremely clean. They have cameras you can view your child throughout the day in addition to multiple daily photos sent to Kindertales app. I will be sending my daughter next month to the infants 1 class. I've popped in a few times over that past few months. As sad as I am to go back to work and will miss my baby, I know she will be in good hands. The infant classroom is never chaotic with a bunch of crying babies. I don't know how they do it but the babies seem so happy and content. My old daycare, infant classroom was chaotic. I thought that was normal because, well, they are babies. Not the case here. The staff to child ratio is great. Overall, nothing but great things about Fulton Kids & Co.

The management here acts extremely childish when it comes to problem solving or making staff feel heard and respected. They pick and choose who to give special treatment to. West Town Daycare did not make me feel any sort of comfort or confidentiality at all, you literally cannot tell the director anything without having your business told to the rest of the staff. I can confidently say my work experience here was stressful and not up to par. Definitely reconsider applying here if you are!

Every Director and teacher is so nice and caring, but if you have an infant, the Lilac room is where you need to be. All the teachers in that room are amazing, but the lead teacher, Ms Brianna is amazing. Kind, thorough, sweet, organized, and keeps the class fun. We get updates all throughout the day with lots is pictures of our daughter having fun at music and Spanish class. We love all the culture she is being exposed too! We will be sad to leave if we ever have to move neighborhoods. 10/10 so far.

Their enrollment has drastically dropped and it shows when entering the school. The facility is dirty and cluttered. The rooms are not regularly cleaned not mopped, vacuumed, or especially deep cleaning the rugs regularly. The infant rooms are filthy. children who wear white or light colored clothing will not be that color during pickup that be the first sign of their "cleanliness". It's a pricy daycare 2,500 for full time children but the portion sizes for meals are not sufficient for children (same portion for an infant & a 4 year old). Ask to see pictures of portion size. The laundry machine has black mold growing for years. Children's clothes and toys are washed daily in hazardous filth. The enrollment director will say anything just for you to sign up, half of the times lies. Especially the rooftop it's not a play space it once used to be. The play structure is falling apart and the wood is rotting. Hence, why they don't tour the rooftop. They try pushing the "green environmental organic trend" nothing green about this place. The cloth organic diaper system was once great also falling apart. Cloth diapers come in shredded from being old, not cleaned properly many times cloths come in with previous stains. There was 2 incidents were an infant teacher broke a 6 month old infants leg. Same teacher burnt a child's leg causing 3rd degree burns. Nothing was done to the teacher, teacher still continues her journey with the place. Please be careful enrolling your children. This place sweeps everything under the rug to keep them afloat. Double think about your precious little one. This is not the daycare you want to enroll.
