Used this service during our trip to Maui- for the price and all the great reviews I was super disappointed at the quality of care. We had to constantly help the nanny with our baby. We were near the nanny during our event and my partner had to check in with them every 20-30 mins to console our baby, feed him, and put him to bed. My partner would find the nanny socialising with event vendors while our baby was having a meltdown in her arms. I've never seen our baby so upset as when we picked him up. Very disappointed as I planned one date night with my husband while on Maui for his birthday and the night of our dinner our sitter was a no call/no show. I tried to reach out to the agency, but there is no after hours number to call. I ended up texting the main number and heard back about 45 min after the time our sitter was scheduled for. The women I spoke with had no idea what happened and said she would check with the owner. She offered to comp services but at this point we decided to bring our kids to dinner and there was no way I would trust my kids with this service now. I waited until today to leave a review in case they came back to me with a good explanation, however all I've received is an email with a 1/2 baked apology and no explanation whatsoever. I had to convince my husband to even think about hiring a babysitter on vacation that we didn't know and then this happens. I'm so glad that we weren't going to a wedding or a show or something. If I could give 6 stars - I would. Sara took care of our 2.5 year old toddler during our 7 day vacation. Our son absolutely adored her, and their communication was nothing less than magical. My wife and I finally had some time to be a couple again and treated ourselves with a couple of well deserved date nights. It was amazing spending so much time together as a family, but after the first week of very little sleep at night, I was EXHAUSTED. We had Kristen the first day and she was fantastic with our daughter. Recently used this service while we were in Maui. We were assigned Crystal and Melanie for babysitters for our just turned 10 month old son. Both were very good at keeping him busy and taking care of him. My son has a thing for blond women I've noticed, so when Crystal showed up and he got his "I'm cute, love me!" smile on his face when he saw her walk in I knew he was going to be fine with her. He got a big grin on his face the other times she watched him (she watched him 4 times). One night when we came back from dinner we realized we could hear Crystal inside playing with our son from out in the hallway so we stayed out there a minute just listening to her talking to him and him laughing. Melanie watched him once and was excellent with him! She even got him to nap while she was there, a miracle in itself! He can be a stinker for nap time so anytime someone one else can get him to take one I am always impressed. We were very pleased with her services. Would totally use this nanny service again if in Maui. The nannies I was assigned did not bring any bags of toys or anything, but since I brought and rented plenty of my own it was not a big deal. Booked and confirmed Friday for Monday and Tuesday nights - super convenient. Advised that Diane would be our Nanny and they provided a full summary of her experience: mother of 3 grown children, worked in the infant room of a daycare for almost 20 years, loves little babies - all exactly what a new mom wants to hear! Diane and I texted back and forth prior to her arrival on Monday afternoon with any questions and confirming our hotel room number and tower. My 21 month old son is not used to being away from me. I was very concerned that he would cry the entire time but I had to go to a wedding. I hired Sierra the night before the wedding for about 4 hours so he would get used to her. We went to dinner and he took to her immediately.He let her wipe his nose and he doesn't even let me do it. With baby's early bedtime AND the 3hr time difference from CA, no way was our baby going to survive an evening wedding.
