Large open space, white furniture reminiscent of a Miami South Beach club, and a long bar. Simple. No kitchen, no stage, just the basics. But it's all framed by a 180 degree view of the bay which, at sunset on a clear day, is spectacular. And what they do, they do well. The drinks are reasonably priced, they have a solid happy hour, and they do it all with a great attitude and a smile. Our bartender Cynthia busted her hump taking care of the 30 or so in our group who took the place over on a Saturday night, and she made us feel right at home. Let's be clear, the Grandview isn't a "hot spot." You're not going here to party (unless you're bringing the party with you).
