I met Candice and Salon Avalon by chance when I received a free facial waxing certificate. I have continued going back for waxing for months now and I have nothing but great things to say not only about the salon in general but about Candice as well! The salon is bright, cheerful, clean and relaxing! I love the interior decorations and the overall "feel" of the salon. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and inviting! Candice is amazing! She's so happy, talkative and knowledgeable! After attempting to wax my own eyebrows for some time, I realized I'm just not one of those girls that are capable of doing it myself and before I had nothing left I found Candice! She took my sad eyebrows and healed them! Lol She's taught me how to maintain them and not overwax, and has made them so much better than they ever were! Now I know I'm just talking about eyebrows, but they are a big part of your face and overall appearance and I don't trust anyone else, even myself, to take care of mine except Candice!! I would not recommend anyone go to this salon. Tiffany McReynolds was my hairdresser and she over processed my hair and it all fell out. She refused to consult with me or offer any solutions. I then contacted the salon itself which her mother owns and she refused to return my calls as well. I then received a text from Tiffany suggesting I call their attorney. Wow talk about horrible customer service and a hair nightmare that will last me years and cost hundreds to repair. Just say NO to Salon Avalon and their inexperienced hairdressers and horrific customer service. When someone destroys your hair of gives you a product that is NOT what they say you are getting that is lying cheating and NOT doing professional business. This is a small valley and every business should provide great customer service or offer their patrons a solution when something goes horribly wrong. I got a special facial from Candice, although it was my first, it was such a great experience. She taught me how to better care for my skin and gave me some tips of how to deal with my specific skin type. My mom and I both got facials from her and our skin looked amazing afterwards. If we lived closer, we would most definitely go to her again!! The salon itself has amazing customer service and is the classiest salon I've ever been to. Sonnie and Tiffany are great at what they do (hair stylists) and pay just the right amount of attention to their clients, while not smothering them either.
