This is the cutest bed and breakfast! We stayed here on a work trip and took over most of the rooms. There were cozy robes that we all put on and then we gathered in the kitchen to enjoy snacks and wine we brought. The rooms and common spaces are beautiful, clean and very cozy. This b&b is also in the PERFECT location, as it's in walking distance of one of Indy's coolest streets, Mass Ave. There are a ton of restaurants, bars, local shops, a new food hall, coffee shops and more that you'll have direct access to without needing to drive. It's a safe area and there's even a wonderful restaurant across the street. The owner here is also amazing and so wonderful to work with. There's also street parking out front. I did four stars because I shared a room with someone else and ended up in a twin bed that was pretty hard. That could be easily fixed with a padded mattress topper to prevent from soreness the next day. Bonus: They also have cooking classes here that I've heard are wonderful! read more

Myself and 3 girlfriends stayed overnight on a Saturday in room 6 (the entire 3rd floor penthouse/apt). It was warm and cozy, very spread out and open! The beds were amazing! We arrived early, prior to checkin and were allowed to put our luggage in the room! The location is perfect for shopping, dining, and nightlife! My coworkers and I were only in Indy for two days for a planning retreat, with one night at The Nestle Inn. But in that time, the inn became familiar, warm and home-like. I know this sounds a bit crazy but just trust me on this. I arrived at around 11 a.m. to find our rooms not quite ready yet, but one of the employees checked me in quickly and held my bag for me, delivering it to my room so it was there when I returned. And when I came back, I found a room that was a bit rustic but not dated. It was simple and comfy -- and very relaxing. In particular, I liked: * free wifi that works very well! * several outlets right next to the bed for any phones or laptops that need a charge. * awesome smelling lotion and soap in the bathroom. * quiet rooms. Some B&Bs I've been at have had very thin walls. Despite a full inn, I never heard the other guests while in my room. * a warm bed. The mattress was a little hard but still comfortable. The lovely inn keeper also let my coworkers and I hang out in the spacious downstairs kitchen after a day of working. We snacked, chatted and played a game just like we were staying over at a friend's house. (I know this makes it sound like we're teenagers, though I assure you we're all adults. But hey, sometimes you need a night of gabbing and games with fun gals!) And then the next day, we worked for several hours in the kitchen. Coffee awaited us, as well as breakfast and carafes of water. We gathered around the large island, and again: comfort. I felt at home, though I wish my home was as nice as this. Some other pluses: * Free coffee in the morning. * This place is totes cute, with a piano and lots of books in the common areas. * Centrally located. There seems to be lots to walk to around the Inn. * You can get a voucher for breakfast during the week at a local cafe. * A parking voucher is also waiting for you, in case you don't want to park on the street. * The Inn also hosts cooking classes in the straight-out-of-a-movie kitchen. I've always wanted to play tourist in my own city and this past week I finally had the opportunity thanks to hosting a summit gathering for my team at Nestle Inn. From booking (nearly) the entire Inn to having the morning croissants and quiche delivered by Coat Check Coffee down the street, the process was seamless. Nestle Inn has been on my Indy bucket list for quite some time. Located less than a block off Mass Ave, this cozy bed and breakfast is within arms reach of TONS of local eateries and shops. On top of the Mass Ave amenities, you're leasing than a mile from the heart of downtown, Monument Circle and the Wholesale District. A perfect stroll up Mass Ave and you're there. I had the pleasure of experiencing the top floor mini apartment that offers a small side room with two twin beds (great for bachelorette parties). The rooms are well decorated and clean. Mini kitchen and two entrances to the bathroom are available in this room. I cannot recommend the Inn for team retreats enough. Note that they also offer cooking classes...and leopard robes...and easy/free street and private lot parking less than a block away. Insider tip: Check in on Yelp for ten percent off your room! This review is for a cooking class I attended; I didn't stay overnight, but will definitely be keeping The Nestle Inn in mind the next time someone asks about lodging options downtown! The theme of the class was the Foods of New Orleans; the menu included crawfish etouffee, shrimp po boys, and beignets. The experience was very much like hanging out in a friend's kitchen (a friend who is a great cook mind you...), chatting with them while they cook, and pitching in as needed; in other words, very relaxed and informal! Leesa, the owner was a great host, and had the fun task of keeping up with the dishes! Chef Anna was a great instructor, and selected recipes that I really feel like are realistic for all of us to make at home! We learned a lot about cooking techniques, and came away with some new skills and great recipes! The class ends with eating of course! We were able to enjoy the creations in the dining room of the Inn; the tables were decorated for Mardi Gras which was a nice touch! All of the dishes were delicious! This isn't a Hilton, an Airbnb, or boutique hotel. It's something so much more. Don't walk in and expect to see the most updated furniture or a big screen TV. Walk in and expect to feel like you just walked into your Grandma's house and you're about to get spoiled for a weekend. After a long day of training, walking in the door and being greeted by a small tray of butter bars, however small a detail, felt so personal and thoughtful. Each morning I woke, I could smell the coffee brewing on the small table right outside my room. I could open the door, pour myself a cup and snag a piece of the dark chocolate sitting in a small glass container next to the coffee. There's something so simple and so authentic about Nestle inn that makes it an asset to Indianapolis. These are the kind of personal touches that you'll never get in a hotel. There are SOOOO many pros to staying at the Nestle Inn, so let's get started. 1) Centrally located, and has decent amount of street parking nearby. Drop your car, your stuff, and walk to explore all things Indy! 2) Are you like me and afraid of B & B's with old pink dust ruffles and a collection of weird salt and pepper shakers shaped like animals starting at you? This is NOTHING like that -- it looks like it's straight out of a Nancy Meyers movie! You know - It's Complicated, the Holiday, Something's Gotta Give. No you don't know? Ok let me explain it... it's a HUGE historic home that has recently been renovated and turned into a contemporary B & B with a beautiful soothing color palate of greys and whites. Straight up cathartic. (PS the Christmas decor is up right now and it is also GORG!) 3) The owner is very accommodating. We were staying for a mini conference and she arranged for everything we needed to feel comfortable AND productive. The kitchen island was especially fun to sit around for meetings and a team bonding game night. 4) My room was HUGE and comfy. A clawfoot tub AND a little fireplace? #Winning! Gah - take me back to when this was a thing in every house. I loved the warmth and the crackling of the little fire as I went to bed. It was so relaxing. Overall, the Nestle Inn manages to be cozy and contemporary with modern amenities - which is what I personally look for in a B & B. Look no further, your decision is made. read more

I was visiting Indy for a couple of days due to a work conference and I was put up in this adorable bed and breakfast for my stay. I honestly wasn't sure what to expect but I can say that I was pleasantly surprised by how rustic and cozy the place was, literally from the moment I walked in the door! Once I made my way through downtown Indy, I eventually found a free parking spot out front, introduced myself to the innkeeper, and got my keys. Now, I arrived a short while before checkout so the staff held my belongings and secured them in my room until I returned later that evening. I was staying on the very top floor, suite six I do believe. It ended up being almost like a mini apartment settled on the third floor of the Inn. You walk up the stairs to find a giant king sized bed. It had a TV mounted on the wall, bedside tables, and tons (I mean TONS) of space. There was a bathroom, of course. It had a tall shower and a bathtub. There was even a kitchen with all of your expected necessities. There was a dining table and lounge area with a couch, coffee table and everything! I was really blown away by how comfortable the room was. It was so big and cozy! I also really enjoyed looking out the big windows to see a little bit of Indy. Oh - there was also a side room attached. It had two twin beds and a separate entrance, although it did share the bathroom. Two of my coworkers stayed in there for the night and I never heard a peep out of them. During the day my coworkers and I spent a lot of time in the spacious and lovely kitchen area. We had breakfast catered from a local restaurant, sipped on hazelnut coffee, and cranked out a bunch of work. Overall, this was the perfect place to stay for a night in Indy. Our hosts were so very friendly and the inn provided everything I needed to have an enjoyable time. If I find myself back in the state again, I'd be happy to book another room! read more

We had a family emergency in town that was very late minute. We're so grateful the inn had space for us and were able to accommodate my older mothers physical limitation offering a private room at the last minute. The house is beautiful and the room clean and spacious and thoughtfully fitted for a stay. The breakfast next door at Henry's was greatly appreciated and an unexpected perk. Parking was convenient and just a block away. Though we weren't in town for pleasure the inn is located in a great, walkable area with many bars and restaurants - outdoor dining with streets closed to accommodate the pandemic. The owners live just down the street so as a bed and breakfast you don't feel as though you're invading someone's living room. read more

I just got back from a quick overnight trip to Indianapolis, my first time there. The Nestle Inn was exactly what I wanted and for a price that was more reasonable than the downtown hotels. Located in the hear of the Mass Ave theater & arts district, it is just one short block to theaters, shopping, bars, restaurants and only a few feet to the coffee shop next door. I went with a girlfriend so we stayed in the suite which had a king bed plus a daybed in the sitting room. I've only stayed at a couple of B&Bs before, but I've tried to find them with 2 beds in a room before and it is rare...and the few times I did the prices were way too high. The Nestle in has great prices, lots of space in the suite and in the several public sitting areas. With 5 rooms (and a 6th on the way) and the owners living in the carriage house behind the Inn, it really did feel like we were coming home after an evening on Mass Ave. We barely saw anyone else during our short stay (Sunday afternoon to Monday morning) but everyone we met was very friendly. The owner, Leesa, was friendly and warm, but also quietly disappeared to give you privacy when you weren't needing her for something. We didn't get the chance to try out the weekend breakfast...what a shame. It sounded really good. That said, we liked having a $10 voucher for breakfast...or anything we wanted...at the coffee shop next door. I ate a full breakfast, but my friend wasn't hungry and grabbed a sandwich to go for lunch. As a relative novice at B&Bs (this was my 3rd one), this was my very best experience to date. I would highly recommend Nestle Inn for business travelers (free wifi everywhere, easy weekday breakfast on your schedule), group things (retreats, girls weekend, family vacations), couples or friends. If you've never stayed at a B&B and are a tad uncomfortable about the idea...the Nestle Inn will win you over! A quaint, homey B&B - it literally is a converted private home, and I believe the owners still reside somewhere on premises? Depending on one's preferences and tastes. .. Great location if you don't need to be in the heart of downtown, it's right across the street from a great restaurant (Union50) and some decent "neighborhood places" that are fine but wouldn't be "destination restaurants" I was in room 1, the only room on the first floor. Don't know how the rooms upstairs are. Wooden floor was creaky - didn't bother me much but I can imagine for some. .. Shower tub with ring hung pull curtain - nothing bad, nothing great but water pressure was a little on the weak side. Bath towels on the small side. .. Come and go as you please - front door auto locks and is numeric keypad accessed, traditional key for your room. NOTE: room door does NOT autolock! You have to use key to throw deadbolt. BEWARE! The brief encounter one morning with owner / innkeeper was pleasant, I never saw anyone else the rest of my trip, though I could hear people leaving in the morning. Not obnoxious but definitely would wake you up if trying to sleep in. If you like this sort of place, and very eclectic antique shop mixed style and period decor, it makes for an interesting choice. read more

First things first. This place is a bundle of cozy, home-away-from-home, cuteness. The bed! The pillows! The microfiber comforter! This place is well equipped to deliver a comfy-night's beauty rest. Bonus perks that made me sleep like a baby in my own bed? My room was stocked with a fan and space heater. As a picky sleeper who likes to have white noise when I sleep, the small fan was perfect. A beautiful and well cared for victorian home, complete with cast iron stained glass windows - incredibly beautiful, especially in the morning light. I was in room number one, which can be a little noisy when other guests are returning at night and a again in the morning when guests are going up and down the stairs. If you plan to sleep in I recommend opting for one of the bedrooms on the upper floor. read more

My wife and I stayed here July 22, 2012. Perfect for a Lyle Lovett concert at the Murat Theater. This place is gorgeous, very friendly greeting, beautiful woodwork in a nicely furnished old home. The Air conditioning was working well on a 96 degree night, the cable TV and wireless internet were flawless, the parking is easy, the neighborhood is nice. We will always recommend this place for Murat Theater events and anything else in Indianapolis. Coffee, biscotti, soft drinks, all available and complimentary. (By the way, we had an excellent meal at the Bosphorus (Turkish) Restaurant 1.7 miles south of the Nestle Inn.) read more

Enjoyed a brief (overnight) stay at the Nestle Inn this past weekend. Comfortable room (room #3) in a beautiful old home that is fully restored. The best part was the location of the Inn, which is just blocks from Mass Ave and many restaurants, coffee shops, stores, etc. Great spot to stay if you are heading to the Old National Theater for a show. Everything within walking distance. The Inn has an offsite parking lot about a block away, but street parking is available although you may have to search for a spot. The neighborhood is popular and busy. Fresh coffee and treats available outside your room, although my partner was bummed that the hot water for tea was not hot. (it's kept in a thermos pitcher) Here is the irony and the only reason for not giving a fifth star. Instead of onsite breakfast, you get a voucher to have breakfast either at Henry's Coffee Bistro (right next door) or Louie's Wine Dive on Mass Ave. Henry's was our only option this morning since we were up and hungry before Louie's opened. Henry's food and coffee was not good at all, which is a shame since you sort of associate the food with the Inn. The ironic part is that the Inn offers cooking classes, so while I understand that some people do not like having breakfast with strangers, it seems like the Inn has the means to make a delicious breakfast for their guests. Besides, if you are having breakfast at a coffee shop, aren't you still having breakfast with strangers? Soooo....while I would definitely stay at the Nestle Inn again and would recommend it to all, I would never use my food voucher at Henry's again and sort of hope that the wonderful Inn keepers at Nestle Inn consider finding another spot to send their guests for breakfast read more

Welcome to planet cute. Where the rooms are modern rustic but cozy. Where the WiFi is stable. Where butter bars and biscotti lie for your snacking. Where dreams are made - because the beds are so comfortable. I only enjoyed The Nestle Inn for 10-12 hours, but those hours were well spent enjoying the spoils of this adorable bed and breakfast. Because I was super busy flying into Indy, working and hanging with my colleagues, I didn't get a chance to check in until almost midnight, but with an advance head's up to Leesa I was able to walk right in and plop into my bed within minutes. I didn't get a chance to redeem my breakfast voucher at Henry's, but I've been there many a time and can say it's a great place. Next time I'm in Indy and looking for a heavy dose of cute, I'd definitely stay at Nestle Inn again! read more

I just left Nestle Inn and I miss it already! Admittedly I LOVE the idea of bed and breakfasts but in practice I've rarely found ones that I love. I guess despite the fact that I love things low key, quaint and cozy when it comes to my lodging I love a pimped out hotel. Nestle Inn, however, never once had me longing for a hot tub, crazy mood lighting, or a rooftop bar. And here's why: + Free wifi that WORKS! I had no trouble working or surfing. + Comfy beds. I slept like a dream both nights. + Complimentary soft drinks and water in the common area, plus hot tea, coffee and a variety of sweet treats left out (biscotti and the amaaaazing butter bars that I know I'll be jonesing for soon). + Spacious rooms with a good sized bathroom attached. + A wonderful proprietor. Lisa was unbelievably nice! + Lovely decor. Very cozy, very rustic, but not over the top. I've been to B&Bs where it looks like Laura Ashley had a dozen babies and they all threw up all over the room. This is tasteful, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It's holiday time and the decor was really lovely. Lots of fresh greenery and pretty things. + Walking distance to awesome things downtown. It was terribly cold while I was there so I didn't do that (uber was my friend) but it's a great location. + The room comes stocked with extra blankets and mine had a small heater. If you like to get extra snuggly. A few things worth noting so you'e prepared: Check in is 4-6pm. That's the time you can meet with Leesa in person. However, if you need to make other arrangements she is more than happy to work it out. Breakfast during the week is presented via a voucher next door to Henry's a cafe with breakfast sandwiches and the like. No in-room thermostats. My room was a little drafty but with all the extra blankets and the heater I felt roasty toasty. Not a problem at all. Not sure when I'll be back to Indy but the prospect of another stay at Nestle has me very excited! read more

I have to thank yelp for helping me discover this lil gem! I was planning my cross country road trip and my first stop was Indianapolis. I am SO happy I booked with Nestle Inn... first reason being I was traveling cross country alone and I wanted a comfortable, safe spot my first night. This place lived up to every thing that is written about it. I chose the self check in, as I was unsure of what time I would arrive, but I winded up arriving around 5pm. As I pulled up one of the inn keepers was gardening, which I loved. Check in was smoothe and easy. My room was on the first floor (the only room on the first floor, which I loved) I was able to see my car parked right outside my room. Everything was comfy, cozy, chic', rustic, and a true homey feel. The following morning for breakfast, we got yogurt cups, and fresh fruit, baked oatmeal, and scrambled eggs....I had to leave to get on the road, so not sure if more was served...but everything was yummy and so well worth it...for my first stay at a bed and breakfast, this was quite a a delight! I would totally recommend staying here to anyone passing through Indy! read more

While looking for Honeymoon getaways close enough to home my stepmom came across this gem and my husband and I are so happy she did. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out everything was just so amazing. This Inn is like no other you receive an access code to the main house so that you can come and go as you please and not feel as if you are interrupting anyone's day. When we arrived the owner Lessa was working on somethings in the den, she greeted us and explained that if we had any questions she was there to help she said that we could take either stairwell up to our room and that our room key would be in the door. When we got to the room it was exactly as she said the room was gorgeous and well kept. On the table we found two food tickets for local restaurants because like i stated before this is not your normal B&B the Nestle teams up with local business so that its guest can have breakfast at whatever time they want and eat whatever it is that there hearts desire. On each floor there is a common area with seating, coffee and water and a fee little treats for your enjoyment on the the second floor in the common area there is also a little fridge should you need it. The first floor also has a beautiful library and it is just over all gorgeous. With your reservation you can add other little amenities to your room and to surprise my husband I did. He is not much of a drinker so champagne would not have intrigued him so lucky for me they had a cookies and milk basket that they delivered to our room on Thursday evening. Not being from the area we asked Lessa for some recommendations and she gave us quite a few we did visit one not to far from the in and loved it Friday morning we slept in and didnt leave the in until about 1130 or so when we walked next door to Henry's Cafe for breakfast. It wasnt what we were expecting but great none the less. Friday night on our way out we ran into one of the inn keepers John and another young lady who unfortunately we missed her name and they asked if we needed anything I asked if they had heard of a restaurant that I found on Yelp and they both recommended the place which solidified our visit to the restaurant. Upon check out Saturday again the inn keeper whose name we missed she did it with such grace asked if we needed anything for the ride home offered to help with our luggage and all the in between. The inn also offers cooking classes so my husband and I cant wait to go back and enjoy a little bit more of the inn and the surrounding area! We definitely have been telling our loved ones about The Nestle Inn and recommending they enjoy it with the person they love. read more

My husband and I stayed at the Nestle Inn for one night, while celebrating our wedding anniversary. It's described as an 'Urban B & B' which simply means it is located in the heart of downtown Indy's dining/shopping district. So the location is prime. It was a 2 minute walk to dinner. The B&B itself is completely charming...the home is well preserved, clean and nicely furnished. Our room was quite big, with a nice TV and very comfy bed. Everything was in perfect working condition. Sometimes I worry about old homes like that, but you could tell they keep everything updated and well maintained. The owners are just good people, and cover every last detail. You're never without a nice cup of coffee/tea/water or a little treat. And breakfast was awesome...Leesa is an amazing chef. Homemade scones, fresh fruit, waffles, iced coffee, and more. I didn't want to leave haha. We really enjoyed our stay here and would go back. Great alternative to a hotel. read more

We came to Indy for the Brett Eldredge concert at the Egypt Room and found this Inn due to it's proximity to the venue. Making reservations via their website was easy and the communication as our arrival date neared was great. We received a parking pass and code to enter the inn. John also touched base the day of arrival to make sure we were clear on the parking and had the code for entry. We rented the king size room on the first floor. It was spacious with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was on the smaller side where two of us could not get ready at the same time. Also the towels were not good quality and the bath size one was smaller. There were robes for our use which was a nice touch. The inn is very charming with wonderful sitting areas on the first and second floors and coffee on each level. The second floor sitting area has a refrigerator offering cold beverages and a place to store your leftovers from the areas wonderful culinary experiences. The inn has little treats left out for their guests like coffee cake in the morning, candy bark and butter cake in the afternoon and evening, The inn is very clean and it's nice there are common areas to roam about. The included breakfast is not at the inn. You receive vouchers for area restaurants. The one next door was just okay, Henry's Coffee Bistro. It was just a counter service place. The other restaurant, Louie's Wine Dive, was great for brunch and had a good selection on their menu. The nice thing about this is that you're on your own schedule vs. a strict breakfast for an hour at the B&B like most others. Walk around the area as there is plenty to discover and nice little shops. This inn also offers cooking classes. How fun is that to come and relax and learn to cook? I recommend this relaxing and charming inn in a great location in downtown Indy. read more

Lovely converted home with interesting features in a great location off of Mass Ave for restaurants and bars - but not in the heart of downtown if that is important. Pluses include an access code that allows entrance at your convenience - but we had to call several times as we never did receive the email that was meant to convey the code as well as various other instructions for parking, etc. We stayed in Room #2, the largest and most expensive of the 6. It was clean and attractive, but chairs were tiny and uncomfortable and mattress was soft and lumpy - not making for restful lounging or sleep. While WIFI is touted, there was no code in the room for access, and we couldn't locate anyone to inquire. We were caught off guard that no breakfast is provided on site, as that is part of the enjoyment of staying at a B & B rather than a hotel, for us. The one option available that morning (Louie's doesn't open until later) was Henry's, which was not a good experience. Parking is almost two blocks away, which is very inconvenient and not made obvious on the web site. The indication that street parking is plentiful is very misleading, as this is a very populated and busy business district with limited parking. We never encountered a proprietor or staff person, even when searching to ask questions. This is certainly a serviceable option for a place to stay, but not superior to a hotel experience, in my opinion. Our room was very spacious as well as the bathroom. The bed was comfortable as well. The small touches like coffee, orange juice and a variety of creamers were very pleasant to wake up to in the morning. My one complaint is that we only stayed one night! We were in Indy for a concert and decided to stay here instead of a hotel. The Inn is beautiful and beautifully kept. We won a raffle and got a free overnight at Nestle Inn. It was so relaxing, not having our toddler with us, and the location is absolutely wonderful-close to all the greatness of Mass Ave & the circle. We need to book a room for 4th of July, as it gives a prime view of fireworks from the porch. Leesa was absolutely friendly & warm, and there were always little bites of deliciousness laying out for guests, along with beverages. We were treated to 2 $10 vouchers for Henry's next door the following morning, which made our send off even better. Little bits of oddity that may be handy to know: While there were soap & shampoo, there's no sample toothpaste or mouthwash. I assumed there would be and left some at home. Also, the house is old; floors creak. NBD to me, but some people may not be used to older wood floors. The owner was very accommodating with our food storage and my breastmilk storage, which is awesome. Also, there are hdmi ports on the tv, so yes, you can hook your video game consoles up to it. There was no DVD player in the room, so we ran home to check on the dog & grabbed the ps3 and a netflix we hadn't watched yet & had a grand ol' time when we settled in for the evening. I love the Nestle Inn. The owners, Leesa and Rob are friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Each room is charming, clean and comfortable. They have a great tie in with a coffees hop next door where you can get breakfast and the location could not be better- just a short stroll to shops and restaurants on mass ave etc. Best place to stay in Indy and way more charming than a sterile hotel. read more

We had the joy of staying here during the best 4 days of the year! Well.. For gaming at least. We got the newly remodeled top room. And what a wonderful resting spot to rejuvenate between sessions. The full kitchen is a huge added bonus as well. read more

I decided to up grade my business hotel room since my wife was joining me. It was a surprise for sure. The home is beautiful. It reminded me of my grandmothers house. My wife attended the cooking class and loved it. Everything was clean and kept clean. Food was perfect. read more

My husband and I, who run two guesthouses/B&B's in Dayton, had come to Indy for a night away in October and stayed at a B&B in the old north neighborhood, but had taken a taxi to the Mass Ave. Arts and Entertainment district to got to a jazz club called the Chatterbox. We had such fun at the club, and wished we had more time to explore Mass Ave., so when we were seeking lodging for the Indy Mini, we looked for lodging in the Mass Ave. area and found Nestle Inn, and we're so glad we did. Nights that we can pull away from our own properties are few and far between, so this was a special treat. Clean, hospitible, and inviting. Loved the fact that there was a little fan as well as a little heater for our use--it was an unseasonably cold 45 degrees that day, and after standing out in the cold (or running in the cold, in my husband's case) it was nice to have the little heater to help take the chill off--the Inn was kept warm enough, it was just the nature of our day downtown that made us cold. Though we love going to B&B's when we aren't operating our own, we aren't early risers, so anytime we don't have to be at a breakfast table by 8:30am on a Sunday/vacation day, it's a good thing. Loved the way Nestle Inn handles breakfast. They have a chalkboard with each room number on it, and you choose a breakfast time from 8 to 9:30am (I was ready to put 9:30am, but my husband wanted to be a little more moderate in our time selection, so we compromised with 9:15am ;-) The set-up of the breakfast room was great--individual tables, but close enough to be able to chat with other guests. Also liked the way breakfast was served. A dish of tropical fruit was brought to each of us at the start. Then a serving plate of almond streudel and a serving plate of stuffed french toast, with a cup of fresh strawberries on the side was brought for us to enjoy. Sure wish the weather would have been warmer so we could have enjoyed the darling little front porch, but we'll save that for next time--and we are confident there will be a next time at Nestle Inn. This place is great! Rated #1 Bed & Breakfast in Indianapolis, and it certainly has earned it. Beautiful, large and comfortable rooms, extremely friendly hostess, an amazing breakfast, and low price. The only downside was trying to find street parking on the busy Saturday night we stayed there, but a couple times circling the block wasn't too bad. I'll definitely stay here again! read more

What a sweet find! Located in the heart of trendy Mass Ave, this little gem provides everything of home and then some! The Nestle Inn is so unusual in that it blends antiques and modern decor to create a one-of-a-kind getaway. We enjoyed #6, the King Suite- this would be a fantastic room for a wedding couple or those celebrating an anniversary. Breakfast is right next door at Henry's- schlurp, schlurp and yum! We had a great stay here last night! We loved the perfect location and Leesa was super welcoming. She showed us around the house, gave great recommendations for local spots, and her butter bars are awesome. Our room was comfy and clean. The only thing we'd change was the lack of water pressure in the shower.... That was a major downer. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and recommend it! read more

We loved our recent stay here. If you are looking for the attentiveness of a hotel, then you won't find what you are looking for here. The house is lovely and old, but that just means it has a lot of charm. You are pretty much left to your own devices most of the time, but for introverts like my husband and I, that suited us just fine. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Free drinks are provided and little snacks are left in the common areas during the day. The bedding was amazingly cozy, better than the majority of hotels. Walking is good to many businesses and theaters, and there's no shortage of restaurants. The biggest downside to the location is parking. We had a small issue because the normal lot was being used for a carnival, so we had to park in a residential street a few blocks down, but no big deal, there's a decent amount of residential street parking around. Definitely would stay here again. read more
