When I first wanted to start working out, I was fairly uncomfortable with the idea of being in a huge gym and having to work out in front of people. I looked for a long time to find a space that was close to me that offered privacy. Sevenbell was one of those gyms, and while it was a little inconvenient to get to from my location, I decided to give it a try. I believe it was one of the best decisions I made. The gym is always spotless, never crowded, and I always felt comfortable in the space. When I went here (I no longer live in the area and have since changed gyms) I actually looked forward to coming every day, because I knew I would not have to sit around and wait for a machine to be free, or have to deal with rude people making noise and slamming weights. If you are like me and are looking for a gym that is clean, quiet, and accepting of everyone no matter where they are on their fitness journey, then this is the place for you. It is well worth the price and I could not be happier with the time I had spent there. Also, the personal trainers are amazing. I worked with Jesse while I was there, and I felt he did a great job with giving me a foundation to work with in my personal workouts. Cam (who is like 6'5 and looks like The Hulk after he transforms) walked by me one day and mentioned that I looked bigger, and that my form was good. It felt like I won the lottery :)

Gashford's training sessions mix Muay Thai and regular weight lifting with some cardio. He also has helped with meal planning and explains the science behind his workouts which i really appreciate. I've never really seen more than 10-15 people in the facility at a time, and as someone who hates big gyms, it's a super welcoming environments for complete newbies like myself. Perfect place and trainer if you're looking to mix up your workouts and create a real life style change!

I first came in because of an offer for a first class free. My rep showed me how everything worked, including the heartbeat monitor on the arm band, which they give you for free on your first visit. An instructor walked me around the studio explaining the class format and made sure I was comfortable with water and a towel. When class started he periodically checked in with me but was not overbearing. I loved how while everyone worked out individually, seeing everyone's stats on the screen did make it feel like a team effort. I really appreciated learning about the different heart rate "zones" and later did research on this when I got home. My sales rep explained the pricing tiers yet was not pushy which I appreciated and I signed up within the week. The app made it very easy to book, see stats, etc. The club has fun challenges each month and really does have a sense of community. It was always clean and you can tell instructors here really care about the members. I only quit because I ended up moving to another neighborhood but this gym truly did change my physique while I was a member, making me stronger and noticeably had an impact on my cardio endurance. I'd recommend this gym to anyone.

The classes keep me on track, and I'm seeing real results. I never, ever thought I'd be someone who enjoys jogging on a treadmill, but now I actually look forward to it. Coach Maddy brings great energy and creative themed classes. I love Coach Frankie's music picks--they make early morning workouts go by faster. And Coach Nai has a great way of offering helpful tips without making anything feel awkward. Luke is always so welcoming at the front desk. This location stands out for its thoughtful amenities: they offer gym and shower towels and a full locker room--something you don't always find at other storefront studios. OTF Park Slope is also a fun way to meet more people in the neighborhood, and the Instagram shout-outs add a nice touch of motivation. I hope corporate OTF will upgrade the app and the fitness band to more modern tech - I'd love AI analysis of my stats. I recommend Orangetheory Park Slope to anyone looking for a fresh, encouraging way to get into fitness.

I usually work out in the afternoons and evenings, but my schedule changed last week, so I've had to switch to mornings and early afternoons. Today, I informed a staff member that the cleaning wipes dispenser was empty and needed to be refilled. While waiting, I noticed another dispenser across the weight room and grabbed wipes from there. A few minutes later, the staff member approached me and said the dispenser wasn't empty--that the wipes had simply fallen to the bottom and I needed to look down inside to see them. She then added, in a very condescending tone, "I'm not the cleaner though," and walked away while I was still speaking. That interaction didn't sit right with me. I simply reported an issue, and the response was dismissive and unprofessional. From experience, once interactions with staff reach that point, they tend to become tense and unpleasant moving forward, so I choose to move on. I've always been respectful and pleasant, and I used to really enjoy this gym and its staff. This was my first time working out during the daytime at this location, and thankfully it will also be my last. The evening staff have always been welcoming, respectful, and helpful--completely different from what I experienced today. This used to be a great place to work out, but after today, I have no interest in returning. I'm already looking into other membership options.

At the moment I am only doing 30 min sessions and although they are quick, they are fast-paced and effective (i.e. I now have a butt!) That being said, if you're like me and can only do this training as your means of working out, you WILL still see great improvements. He churns through trainers like nobody's business. He went through at least 6 of them in the 15 months I worked out there. There was a point at which he got into a dispute with the landlord of the building that resulted in a cease and desist from the city for failure to have proper permitting. I'm told it was over a leak that had not been fixed, and indeed for at least 6 months, there has been a jury-rigged funnel and tube to deal with a leak coming from the apartment above. Despite the owner, I enjoyed the trainers and continued working out there twice a week until I moved.

I ended up joining Crunch Fitness and have been really happy with it so far. The biggest surprise has been how clean it is. The gym floor, locker rooms, and bathrooms are consistently well maintained, and they offer towel service, which is a nice bonus at this price point. The staff has been friendly and helpful whenever I've needed anything. It's definitely a little tight on space, but that's just part of being in the city. My trainer had been having issues with the first branch and he told me we'd be more comfortable at the new one. I believed him. Stupid me. My trainer routinely started late: anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour. Foolishly, I put up with this. And, yes, management saw it and did nothing. If anything, other managers pulled him off the floor when he had sessions with me without apology. If I show up for a session half an hour late, I don't get that half hour added on to my time. On the other hand, if my trainer was late, I was expected to stay late. Management saw this. They did and said nothing, Par for the course. The trainer also did something else which is the reason why I left: Crunch has you sign a contract and pay for a certain number of sessions. Whey they're gone, you sign up for more. Sounds standard, right ? But wait. My trainer started asking me to sign up for lessons that were in excess of the contract. Foolishly, I went along. I must have accumulated over 100 lessons that I will not use. Why did I do that? Because at the time of signing up, he would get a commission. I added up the money: 12,000. dollars. Someone at the gym confirmed this This sort of behavior went on for some time. Then at the end of 2025, I suffered a severe accident. My doctors advised me that IF I could go back to the gym, it would be after a year of recovery. I told my trainer this as I recovered at home. I was unable to walk, or to read for more than 2 hours at a time . Now, other people I knew visited, sent flowers, sent cards, all the thingsyou do for someone who's severely injured. My trainer? He did not visit, he did not send flowers. What he DID was send me a package of sessions to sign up for: he needed the money. The fact that I'm out of service for at least ten months did not stop him. Foolishly, I signed up for them (I couldn't think. I had a brain injury WHICH HE KNEW). When others heard, I withdrew from this. Ultimately, no harm was created; however, a grown man tried to steal money from me (in excess of what he has already), knowing my health condition. Add this to everything else, and I left. I tried to speak to management. I was told that there was no one who could talk to me "but they'd try to find someone." I'm still waiting From what I understand the gym knows he does this sort of thing regularly and they haven't stopped it. I'm a fool for being caught up in it, but if I were you, I'd stay away from a gym which doesn't protect its membership from hustlers, and which lies about getting back in contact with unhappy members. The answer below paints a rosy picture. Don't believe it. Twelve emails and several phone calls later, no one can be bothered to answer. Four years of due payment on time, and then some. They'll treat you the way they treated and are treating me.
