My youngest enjoyed the Toddler zone with bounce houses and play areas. My husband enjoyed playing the arcade games with kids before and after our jump time. This was a great activity for my kids to get some exercise over the break, and would be great for birthday parties too. Staff was friendly, helpful, and plentiful. Two things I noticed that could use improvement: hand sanitizer stations are missing and there are no water fountains. Also would be cool if they sold a combo pack for jumping and ropes with slightly reduced rate.

Depending on how much you wanted ti spend on the card was dependent on your meal. It's easy to drop $40 if you aren't careful so we got our meal for 2.99. We had the chicken and fries, pulled pork and Buffalo wrap. Everyone's food was good and hot. The wait seemed a little long but again they were busy and I only saw three girls working. After dinner we played games. Some of the employees outside the restaurant were lacking people skills. Not too friendly. I will say the prize selection was good. Our toddler left happy. The chair shakes while you are racing in order to give it as much real effects as possible. As your driving/racing you have to pay attention to the guides on the floor in colors red, green & yellow signifying you to slow down on certain curves and turns on the different tracks. When you pay for a race, five rounds of racing is included. You can pick your level of difficulty for each round. I went with "rookie" for all of my five rounds and each track was different. It was neat not knowing what to expect each time you began and it was cool to know you could enjoy it even at the most basic level, which is rookie. The food was not bad, but I could've done without it. The fried chicken sand-which was kinda salty, but I was a fan of the truffle fries. The prosecco was good, light and extra bubbly (not pictured). I think the interior was very nice! Being that there was barely anyone, I got to capture some pics which was nice! I see this as being an arcade you enjoy, when it's not many people, as couples and with some friends. Not a place to frequent often, I think.

With approximately five minutes remaining in the game, the TVs were suddenly turned off without warning. We initially thought there was a technical issue, only to be told that everyone had to leave because it was after 11:00 PM. The issue wasn't that the venue was closing--it was how the situation was handled. No one informed us beforehand that the game would be cut off before it ended, and when a member of our group respectfully expressed his disappointment as a repeat customer, the security manager on duty, Dante, responded aggressively, used profanity, and stated that he "didn't care" because he makes more money than any of us anyway. Customer service and professionalism matter. Unfortunately, the manager's behavior turned what had been an enjoyable evening into a negative experience that left our entire group questioning whether we would return. We hope ownership takes this feedback seriously and addresses both the customer service issues and management conduct at this location.

The games are like a snippet in the past. There are SpongeBob related games which feels like the 90's in the arcade. A lot of the games are ball-based or involve hitting your target. This is a refreshing difference of modern games which are very screen-based. The staff were amazingly friendly! They did a great job with working with us and many parents and kids coming in and out. There were a few ticket machine problems but the situations were rectified quickly. Also the staff gave tips and tricks for which games were most fun to play. All arcade games vary in price from $0.25-$1.00. The space is a bit cramped as well. On a busy day, people will bump into you trying to get by if you're playing a game or are trying to get to another game. The Business opened up a few weeks ago, and I'll still support this aging form of gaming. Timeline Arcade is a retro arcade in downtown York. Timeline is like most current retro arcades, you pay X amount per hour for unlimited plays, and you pay when entering. The entry fee for an hour is very reasonable. The arcade is reasonably large and is spread across two rooms. Selection includes retro arcade machines, pinball machines, consoles, and other gaming items. Timeline does get newer Stern pinball machines like JAWS and Star Wars: Fall of the Empire, on top of a handful of older machines like Spy Hunter and White Water. The selection of general arcade machines is good, with machines like Spy Hunter, Coors Light Bowling, Rampage World Tour, and Revolution X catching my interest. Several TV's and couches are available for console gaming. Timeline has some problems however. They need to more clearly define the BYOB policy in its public facing information. From experience, BYOB here means "mancan/tallboy" sized drinks IE larger cans. The bigger issue is the machine maintenance problems which have gotten worse over time. I've run into several issues with machines not working, and during my last visit a bunch in the back room were out of order. Some of the machines at Timeline are clearly B or C grade machines, and simply do not play as better examples would. Is Timeline still worth a visit? Yes. It remains one of the better retro arcades in Pennsylvania, but there are better out there including in surrounding states like New Jersey.
