Many years ago I got burned buying a new Martin with a very poor neck set and bad truss rod. Martin was not forthcoming in wanting to pay for the repairs. So, when I am looking at a purchase I have a machinists rule that I use to take critical measurements, on every guitar I pick up. This got on Susan's nerves, and I understand. Regardless, and most important to me, Susan is the most talented guitar teacher I have ever met, and I'm old. Her written arrangements of tunes are so far superior to most of what is out there. She should put together some type of book and it would be well welcomed. I live outside Charlotte, so it is LONG drive for somebody in my age bracket, 70's. First, I'd like to calm her down from my first meeting..
