Thalia made all of my birthday wishes come true tonight! She listened to my vision and nailed the record cover shag hairstyle I was looking for! The vibe was super chill and laid back. I live 3 hours away and will find my way back here for my next birthday! I can't thank you enough , until next time!

I've been seeing Amber for about a year now, and she's simply THE BEST. You'll never look at your hair the same way. She does an incredible job walking you through her process - she's attuned to the shape of your head, the texture of your hair, and explains which haircuts will be the most flattering. Amber has the unique ability to see who you are at your core. And her haircuts help bring all that you are into focus I have always believed that hair is sacred, but until I met Amber, I've never had a cut that has changed my life. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Lana is a great stylist through and through! She is tenured and has definitely perfected her skill. I told her exactly what I wanted and she delivered. The service is amazing and she can strike up a conversation about anything. The vibe in the shop is 10/10. I will never let any other stylist touch my hair after her. The Noise Project is lucky to have her!

What a coincidence... I've heard it all.

I was looking for a stylist that would cut my daughters hair, after endless research since it is so hard to find a good stylist that can cut a straight line; The Noise Project seemed to be it. I checked out their Yelp reviews and Amber's clean cuts caught my eye and I made my decision to go ahead and contact the shop. I sent her a text asking to schedule a cut for my daughter, and she replies asking how old my daughter was and what shape. I replied, and I got no text after. It's pretty evident that a lot of stylist do not want to cut children's hair which I can understand, do what makes you happy. However to ignore someone is wrong, I called the shop numerus of times and it would go straight to voicemail. I gave her three days to reply and I got nothing, so I reached out through their website and sent a message and long behold someone replied! She stated she had a "friend pass away" and that she wasn't taking new clients at the moment...okay, I don't want to be bias about her story but it just seemed like a cop out. Suddenly you're not taking any new clients, or is it highly because it's a toddler? I even replied that I was sorry for her lost but she did not mention that she wasn't taking new clients when I reached out the first time. No reply, so I am surely disappointed with the lack or communication and professionalism. Why is it so hard to find a great stylist!?

I've been getting my hair cut/dyed at this location for almost 2 years now. Jasmine did my color/cuts for about a year and is absolutely phenomenal when it comes to color! If you show her a color, she can make it. I recently started going to Amber because she's known for her art of shags/mullets. I came in with basically no idea what I wanted, and she cultivated something for me that I absolutely adored. They're both so knowledgeable and truly great at what they do, and I always feel super comfortable in their chairs.

My whole entire adult life I have always struggled to find a salon that has made me feel heard. As a thick wavy/curly haired girl, I've gone to many salons and upon walking in I've immediately felt out of place and like I didn't belong. The last stylist I ever went to left me in tears because the entire 6 hour service all she did was complain to me about my hair. She complained about how much hair I had and she didn't realize that it was going to be this much work and how she was going to have to charge me more because of it, even though I had been going to her for a while. I vowed to never go back to another salon again and I didn't for almost 2 years because of this. That was until I saw a good friend of mine post about this place. She had been going to Amber for a while and always came back with the coolest haircuts. I decided to take my chance and go for it. Needless to say I've found my forever home. Immediately upon walking in I felt accepted and actually wanted. I met both Amber and Thalia this visit, and genuinely they are both such incredibly sweet and positive people, they make you feel comfortable and at ease. Amber was my stylist and she really is amazing. She took the time to listen and make my hair goals a reality. She made me feel comfortable through out the whole process and made me feel really good about myself. It's crazy the difference in getting my haircut by someone who actually cares and listens vs the numerous times I've gone to a salon and unless I'm getting a crazy balayage, they just rush me out. Another thing I really love about this place is how inclusive they are. You can tell everyone who works here are genuinely good people with a big open heart. So basically long story short haha, I'll definitely be coming back. :)

So I did so much internet research for this cut because I was pretty nervous about choosing the wrong stylist for it and it getting totally botched. And thank god I did. Thalia is THE stylist for shags guys. She transformed my suuuuuuper grown out and long hair into a masterpiece. I forgot to take immediate before and after pics so these will have to do but you get the idea, super long, no shape to BAM! So many cute and fun face framing layers and SO much weight taken off, I love styling my hair now! I would 100/10 recommend Thalia for your cuts!

I have been going to Amber for years now after discovering her through one of my childhood friends, Abby. Unfortunately Abby passed away and although losing her was beyond difficult, it brought Amber and I closer. She is personable, attentive and overall a beautiful human being. I have never felt more comfortable with someone and have never been disappointed with the results. I will always continue going here not only for the service but for the customer service as well! Love you Amber! I attached a recent picture of a cute little haircut she did for me.

Truely a life changing environment. You don't just get a hair cut, you get an amazing, accepting, and caring experience. Not only does Amber have an amazing staff but she has a cultivated and honed skill with hair. After my first hair cut with her, I felt that my hair cut truely reflected how I feel. The hair cut helped me tremendously in my journey of self love. A true being of unconditional love

This hair concept came from Jasmine. I love the bright rainbows!

Jasmine has been doing my hair for the past 4 years and as an artist it is so important to have the lense of a extremely creative and down to earth professional work on my hair. She comes up with all of the ideas for my hair color and I always leave knowing that my hair is fun, vibrant and unique! Also, Jasmine always maintains the integrity of her professionalism and I leave knowing that my hair is super healthy and so is my spirit. She has massive amounts of knowledge for anything hair related as well as keen emotional intelligence. Sitting in her chair feels like I am at the day spa.

Regardless of what products I've used or any amount of hair trims, it constantly felt brittle and would tangle from how dry it was, leaving my hair looking like straw. Then I found Allison. Absolute game changer. After my first haircut with her, my hair had zero split ends and has been the healthiest it's ever been. For the first time, my hair can actually maintain length. As a California native, I now schedule my Vegas trips around my haircuts with Allison because I refuse to go anywhere else. Incredible skills and personalized knowledge. My stylist did a great job with my haircut, and I could tell she's efficient and experienced. That said, I did run into an issue with the color service. The dye left visible staining along my hairline, temples/sideburn area, and behind my ears, which I wasn't informed about until after everything was done and I saw it in the mirror. The stylist did try to remove it, but it didn't come off easily, so I left with noticeable staining on my skin. I understand that things can happen, especially with different products, but I do wish there had been more communication in the moment and a more thorough final check/cleanup before I left the salon, especially since the staining was visible in multiple areas. Unfortunately, I'm not very comfortable waiting for it to fade on its own, and I'm also not inclined to return for a future service. Overall, I think this place has a lot going for it, but I hope they can improve the finishing process and post-service support so clients don't leave with unexpected issues. UPDATE: (response to Business Owner response) Thank you for the response, Emily. I appreciate you taking the feedback into consideration. I understand that staining can sometimes happen, but my concern was more around the visibility in multiple areas and that it wasn't fully addressed before I left. I've had my hair colored many times in the past and haven't experienced this level of staining, which is why it stood out to me. I'm glad to hear you'll be focusing on improving the final check and communication moving forward.

Hair still looks perfect the next morning. I have medium-thickness slightly wavy hair, and frizz is my worst enemy. NOT AFTER VISITING THE SALON!! By the end of the service, my hair was so soft and smooth! To get this level of smoothness, I would need to use a flat iron, but Tatsuya achieved this with just a brush and blow dryer.

I contemplated on whether I wanted to write this bad review and I'd like to preface by saying I…read morerarely write reviews at all. I only write reviews when it's 5 stars and I hate to spread negativity but I'd like to share my experience to prevent this from happening to anyone else. I sat on the thought of even writing a review for a week so here is my experience with Yosuke. I found Ark LV from Yelp going through all the photos and reviews and have always had positive experiences with Japanese hair stylists as I have asian hair and grew up going to many stylists who used Japanese hair methods to treat and care for hair. Given the hair stylist I love and trust is back home in NYC and I had many grays starts to growing out from my original beautifully blended bayalage, I wanted to give trust to Yosuke and chance as I thought going from bayalage to a single color would be an easy job. I started the appointment by showing him the color and cut I wanted mocked up from an image I created using AI and asked if he could do it and he responded, "Well yes, that's my job." With the confidence and the reviews and photos I've gone through, I moved on with the appointment and proceeded to have fun conversations with Yosuke throughout; I even started the appointment recording a hair transition video with him as I was super excited for a new mocha brown color from my original blonde bayalage. By the end of the appointment, after the reveal and cut, the color was a bit darker than I expected which I don't blame him for but I started to see some demarcation and waited until he was done with my layers to evaluate the final product. The haircut took no more than 15 minutes and he gave me more layers than I showed in the picture and didn't thin out the face framing layers I've experienced going to many amazing hair stylists throughout my life. He asked if I liked it and asked how I will complete my hair transition video. Here's the part that really bothered me... I had to ask if he had a mirror I can use to see the back of my head. All stylists I've experienced will always show me the final product from front, side and back to ensure I'm happy with the final product and I can instantly tell why once he handed me the mirror. Please review the photos I've shared to see the demarcation he's created. I didn't wash my hair for a week because I'm scared to see how the color will wash out but from one of the photos I've shown below, the color inconsistencies and demarcation only became more apparent. He apologized, offered to fix it and even only charged me for haircut only which is why I will give him 2 stars but if you don't have experience coloring grown out bayalage, don't take the job. I consulted with my trusted stylist back home and I couldn't get myself to go back for him to fix my hair because I prefer not to be his experiment and run the risk of my hair getting more damaged from bleach and having an even worse outcome.

I've been insanely busy lately, so I just couldn't find the time to come in sooner. Honestly, leaving a haircut unmanaged for 4 months usually means my hair turns into a complete disaster. I have super frizzy hair, so I normally have to flat-iron it every single day or get a magic perm just to keep a decent C-curl. But for the first time in my life, my jaw-length bob grew out beautifully. Even after 4 whole months, the shape held up perfectly and it was so incredibly easy to style every morning without any extra chemical treatments. The technical skill here is seriously unmatched. Some people might think the price is a bit on the higher side, but when you factor in the amazing longevity, the effortless daily maintenance, and how much you actually love your hair, it is worth every single penny. It's the definition of great value and total peace of mind. My husband also got his hair cut again today, and just like last time, we are both absolutely thrilled with how we look.
