Once it was time for my appointment, I was taken aside to discuss service needs. Once were in session, the sound of the ocean was played. I elected to have the Swedish Massage by Denise. A warmed towel, rod and heated lavender scented pillow were all incorporated. My neck wasn't feeling the massage headrest long term. So, I moved myself onto the bed completely. Do what you gotta do. The massage was helpful for releasing some knots around my shoulders and overall circulation. I also added the under eye patch treatment. The rooms are a curtain away from each other. So, note that once back near and/or in your room that the staff communicates in hushed whispers. I wasn't quite sure when the appointment was to start and finish. I feel like I blinked and it over. The front desk associate is so pleasant. Ana, my massage therapist, was so warm and calm upon meeting her which definitely translated to her massage skills. I got the prenatal massage as I'm 37 weeks with an active toddler at home so I really needed some deep relaxation. She was so gentle and just had the magic touch - a skill that is not learned but is innate. It put me to sleep which is rare for me as I do not take naps. She is so sweet, genuine, and made sure I was well taken care of. I truly appreciated the care and attention Ana gave. I will definitely be back to get another massage from her and will recommend her to everyone I know!

It was after this that I decided to cancel my membership. Reaching out to the site, there was a requirement that I had to stay a member for a certain amount of months before canceling, so I did. They made it more difficult than a gym membership to cancel. I wanted to share with others: USE your credits otherwise they're gone once you terminate contract. I was a couple of days out of my canceled contract and lost that previous months unused credit. The company's main focus is to gain memberships and require you stay there for so many months without the option of canceling when you want. Therapy staff was nice. It is the business that deserves 1 star.

There are several rooms as other reviews mentioned but it seems like they serve different purposes. Every time I've had a facial it's been in the same room, but the head spa happened to be in a different one. Is wired in the rooms but I like chatting with the aesthetician, and even with the language barrier we end up having great conversations! They tell me what each step is during the service and why it's important, and even ask about stressors like work or lack of sleep during every appointment to adjust the treatment as needed. Recently after my facial I complained admit my scalp and they mentioned they offer a head spa service, which I booked for the next day. My hair and scalloped have never felt so clean! I've become a regular at this point and will definitely try more of their services in the future!

My most recent appointment was with Mary and I booked an hour and 15 minute Deep Tissue Message with her. She did a great job and really worked on my trouble areas- especially a knot in my shoulder. In addition to the great massage, the atmosphere itself just goes the extra mile. The room was really dark and relaxing. There was also a weighted blanket and heated pad which really took it to next level in terms of comfort. Overall, all the massages I've had here have been great, and with same day appointments, it's very convenient too.

Even after two verbal exchanges where I said she could go lighter on pressure, it was still pretty rough and my body was tense over 75% of the time. My masseuse's nails were also a touch long so on occasion, it felt as though I was getting scratched. I cannot speak on my boyfriend's experience as much but I do know he said he would have preferred more of a gentle massage with longer strokes to ease out the knots and kinks in his back and shoulders. I am unclear if it is the massage we picked that was the problem, but regardless, we both left feeling unsatisfied, unfortunately. I have been hesitant to even leave this review but I feel it important to share at least. I would be sure to talk to your masseuse about what exactly you're looking for -- I do believe we are at some fault for not being clear what we wanted, although there was never really a time to discuss it.
