Unlike many doctors, she actually reviews your medical file before the appointment and remembers important details about you and your health issues. That level of preparation and attention makes you feel truly seen and valued as a patient, not rushed or overlooked. Even the medical assistants who work with her are just as wonderful. I see Dr. Lockwood every 2 to 3 weeks, and each visit makes a noticeable difference. Thanks to his care, I am able to stay active and fully functional. Without his support, I'd likely be in much more pain. The clinic itself provides a very calming experience. The atmosphere is always clean, quiet, and peaceful, with underground parking available, which is convenient on rainy days. There are also a many great massage therapist next door, which complements Dr. Lockwood's care well. I still need to book an appointment with one of them, but if Dr. Lockwood recommends (Nicole) in particular for my needs, then I trust she is great. Before Dr. Lockwood, I used to see Dr. Jay Halen years ago, a recommendation from my dad, who was a long-time patient. So I know I'm in good hands, as Dr. Lockwood has been serving the community for many years and has built a strong patient base. Just recently, he shared some details about his patient numbers, and I was truly impressed by his dedication. The other day, as I was leaving, one of the massage therapist (Jennifer) next door commented on how happy and glowing I looked. It really made me appreciate how great I feel after each visit. I scheduled an appointment as a new patient, and after waiting 20 minutes, I walked passed 5 other patients lined up (including another new patient) which is probably why he didn't want to take any time to speak to me. I tried to explain what had led up to the visit, he cut me off, told me I had a pinched nerve and squeezed my neck painfully to prove that he knew it was a pinched nerve. When I asked if it was wise to get a neck adjustment when my muscles were so inflamed, he lowered his voice, and said, "Do I need to explain this all over again?" Then he lowered his voice to a whisper and began speaking to me like a child and laughing while he talked - it was very humiliating. I was in pain and trying to ask questions to determine what the best next step was, and after a few minutes, I thought I would cry. No doctor should ever speak to a patient that way. He may be a fabulous chiropractor and maybe just had a really bad day and didn't want to take up any time with me with 5 patients waiting out front (in which case, why was I scheduled alongside so many other appointments?) but there is no excuse for that kind of behavior. I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy after that. It was a very slimy experience and I am still trying to wash it off.

It had been growing for 18-20 years and was now life threatening and needed to be surgically removed. I was immediately referred to Doctor Patel. Arrived in Seattle at "Cherry Hill." He had the images and was ready to proceed. Meeting was over two hours. I left with an appointment for surgery in three weeks. Said surgery took 11hours---8am to 7pm. Tumor was benign. Through it all, Doctor Patel and the surgical team was very caring and kept me informed. So then, had skull sawed open at age 80, and now I'm writing about it. Finally, through it all, no pain, absolutely no pain.
