When I walked in, Duley made me feel comfortable and asked what areas I wanted him to focus on. I told him I was mainly looking for relief in my shoulders and back, and he spent a good amount of time working on my back, which I liked. Overall, the experience was decent. It wasn't the best massage I've ever had, but it also wasn't the worst. I did feel relaxed afterward, so that was a plus. A few things could have made the experience better. The noise level was a little distracting for me because I could hear street traffic, buses, and cars passing by. In my past massage experiences, the rooms were usually farther back or more quiet. Also, the bathroom sink could have been cleaner, and I was a little surprised that water wasn't offered after the massage, since that's something I'm used to at other places. Overall, I appreciate the service and how comfortable I was made to feel, but there are a few areas that could improve the overall experience.

Ever since I saw this place I have wanted to visit, but the price is rather rich for my blood ($100…read morefor a Face Wash). They do a discount on Thursdays for $85. That's quite a bargain compared to the salons on the Mag Mile or Oak Street. Luckily I got a gift card for the holidays! I came in on a Saturday morning and was waited on right away. They have reclining for relaxing and laying back of course. I was able to stay fully dressed, no robe needed. They design the washes for those in a hurry. My esthetician, Keisha, was professional and kind as she explained the products she applied and asked what I was using. They use their own brand of products(I never did find out what CBQ stood for). Keisha asked what I used on my skin, and complimented me on a nice job, so maybe that was why she did not pressure me into buying any products. She did recommend a serum. The use of machines in addition to hands was useful; The first machine produced steam to open the pores of course, while another one was very cold, but it reduced puffiness. A third machine had a suction function. The soothing Inspirational (ok, Christian) music added to a calm, positive atmosphere. The slide show with tips on skin care such as what to avoid/add was a good substitute for lectures. My only drawback was privacy. The chairs are all in one room, the same room as the lobby, and not spaced out so much, so there was little privacy. The only private room is probably where the waxes are done. I don't have much to hide concerning my skin, but if you enjoy chatting and sharing personal info to an aesthetician, you may want to go when it's very quiet.

I'd never had a face wash before being more accustomed to the chemical facials but it was pleasurable. It being my birthday weekend I also received a complimentary treatment removing dirty skin cells and excess hair giving me a nice natural glow up. I'll be back for sure and the only thing I'd change is a pot of hot water so that clients can have fresh tea and tea bags versus the like warm tea that had been sitting out all day. Other then that, highly recommend you treat yo'self! It's worth it!!!

I was happy with how my nails turned out except the one big thing I mentioned 3 times to 2 different staff members (and also over the phone before I came in) I wanted was glow in the dark and these were not. They were lovely but again my main request was glow in the dark as I was reassured repeatedly that's what I was getting. Other than that I'd go back I probably still will for a fill in.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Taday Nails…read more On Sunday, June 7, I visited the salon for a fill-in on an existing set and paid $76.26. This was the very first fill-in for the set. Less than 24 hours later, on the morning of June 8, one nail broke. On June 9, a second nail broke. I called the salon on June 10 to explain the situation. Rather than expressing concern about the quality of the service, the male manager immediately informed me that it would cost an additional $15 to repair the two nails because the salon does not guarantee fill-ins, only full sets. After a lengthy discussion, he eventually stated that the repairs could be done at no charge, but only if completed by the same technician who serviced me. Unfortunately, I had an event to attend that afternoon and could not risk an extended wait. The following day, I called again and spoke with a female manager. She also began by reiterating that fill-ins are not guaranteed and that repairs must be completed by the original technician. She then informed me that the salon was slow and, if I came immediately, they would make an exception and repair the nails. I rushed to the salon, which is less than a 10-minute drive away, only to arrive and be told there were already two people ahead of me and that the wait would be more than 30 minutes. This was especially frustrating given that I had specifically called ahead and adjusted my schedule based on the information I was provided. While I understand that salons have policies, I find it unreasonable that two nails would break within days of a routine fill-in and that the response was to argue policy rather than address a clear quality concern. What was most disappointing was not the broken nails themselves, but the lack of accountability, inconsistent communication, and poor customer service from management. As a first-time customer receiving a fill-in on a relatively new set, I expected better workmanship and a more customer-focused resolution. Unfortunately, this experience has left me with little confidence in returning.
