Took some time for me to realize how important it is to have not only a regular routine when it comes to caring for the skin on your face, but a good one. A good one simply means that you are just as consistent with what you do before work each day as you are before you go to bed. It's not about having or using expensive lotions, serums or creams. More about loving the skin you have and pampering it. There are definitely times when you will have to invest in yourself by using a more luxurious product. Whatever product that may be, look for a dupe; one that works just as good with similar ingredients for a lighter price tag. Walking back to my car from a previous appointment, I met a young lady that introduced herself as Paige who offered me a skin analysis. I happily accepted, went through the process and scheduled a Diamond Glow Facial for a later date. On the day of my appointment, we started with another skin analysis. She then thoroughly, went over each of the steps in this special facial. She worked her magic to cleanse, extract, exfoliate and hydrate. Such a pampering experience. So relaxing. Those services were fine, however, I love Posh, Lash, & Laser because they are on the south side, and they are experts in all skin types, including dark skin. Poor customer service. July 2018 I had microblading done. Tiffany, inform me that I'd need a touch up. The touch up would cost $90. 3d Brow Microblading with Tiffany $350.00. I called to schedule my touch up appointment within the 90 days window. Tiffany informed me she wasn't currently doing microblading. I asked her I wanted to receive my touch up within the timeframe so I could receive the discount price. Tiffany informed me that I'd have to pay full price when she start doing microblading again. Because it would be pass the 90 days. Why would I pay $350 when u told me a touch up would be $90. That sounds really crazy. read more

I was excited to finally of have booked a date to get a set of posh Barbie set lashes. The day of the appointment comes and I checked my style seat appointment reminder email and noticed that I was suppose to be contacted with the address. I wasn't contacted. I called around 8am my appointment was for 10am and a sleepy sounding Tiffany picked up. I told her that I had made an appointment for today and was just calling to get the address. I got the address , and since the salon she usually uses downtown is currently closed or being reconstructed I believe I was on my way to her shop that was temporarily moved to her home in the Hyde park neighborhood. I get there at 10:00 am on the dot and stand near the gate . Doesn't pick up the first ring. I text her that I'm outside her gate. No reply. So I wait a minute of two and call her again she then politely tells me that she is finishing up with another client and if I could wait 10 minutes that I can wait inside the lobby or on the bench and she'll text me (no problem at all for me as I had some breakfast in my bag I wanted to eat) .After about 20 minutes I call her and tell her I need to get ringed up and what door to come to she tells me which floor and I come in (found it strange that no one came down if she claimed to of been finishing another client but when I called at 8am sounded like she was still in bed). Her home was nice and she greeted me very friendly. Everything was fine up until the start of the eyelash application. As I was lying down excited and asking her opinion on if I should do a more natural or dramatic look I noticed as she began my first eye that she sighed very loud as if she didn't want to be doing my eyes. Then she stopped a few minutes later to text which I didn't mind but she was on her phone For a good three minutes before returning to my eye. Throughout the session music was playing so I was comfortable excited to see the final results of the lashes. Surprisingly she was done with my lashes in literally 30 minutes. Opened my eyes they burned pretty bad but after fanning it it was ok. She handed me a mirror and I faked acted like I liked them in my head I was thinking "why do they look so thin and spaced out, where is the dark full voluminous she writes that her Barbie set gives!?" My eyelashes looked ok. I needed something besides mascara. So I paid her the 180. Although I honestly feel as if the terrible application of lashes she gave me was worth 60 bucks. She didn't even tell me to how to take care of them like most do or hand me a an eyelash wand just accepted the money and went to her phone and from there looked out the window and walked me to the four.Not only were some clustered together with glue on one eyelash she completely missed a section of my eyes on my right eye! I did not notice that until I was downstairs in her lobby looking at them through the mirror. I hated them walking outside and felt like they were too fake looking and I've had mink lashes put on several times her lashes are very hard and shiny not very mink like or soft at all. I attached pictures of when I was in the lobby. Not only were two lashes going in a different direction from the other ones I tried to fix it and they came off! Ladies do yourself a favor and find someone who actually cares about your lashes more than the money and knows how to apply them right! She missed a lot of my eyelashes but for 180 it says your suppose to get a lot of lashes and I felt like I got the same amount of lashes as someone who was paying for a natural set only difference the length of the lashes.Just because you are popular on IG or have a few good reviews doesn't mean you can slack off on work.My session should've been at least an hour and my eyelashes should've looked ten times better than how it looked for that outrageous price. I wanted to get my eyebrows done with her too but after that had to cancel. Maybe it was the time or she was tired but theres no excuse as to why my 180 dollar eyelashes had a space in it ! It's been about 2 weeks since I got my eyelashes done by Tiffany. She was very nice and made the whole process as comfortable as she could for me. The application was quick and I felt no pain at all. The lashes looked great when she was finished, although they were a little thin (I was hoping more for a Kim k look and ended up getting a natural look). The reason I gave one star is because now, at the 2 week mark I barely have any lashes left. 90% of the lashes have fallen off and I am extremely upset. I payed $200 for them and they didn't even last a month! I feel like this is the worst investment I've ever made. I've gotten my lashes done numerous of times and I've never had an experience like this. When I called her to tell her my issue she told me that there were a number of reasons why my lashes could shed frequently. One reason could've been because I wear makeup ( which I do ) or another reason was that it may have been a period where my natural lashes shed excessively which caused the false eyelashes to shed. I probably would have took those excuses into consideration but the very next day after I got them done I experienced a nice amount of shedding (I didn't wear makeup the next day). I've had lashes done before and each time they were done they lasted between 2-3 months, not weeks... months! I should've known when she told me that I could experience 5 or more lashes shedding everyday that this was a bad investment. I was willing to go back to get a fill in but after speaking with her I had to cancel the appointment I made. It makes no sense to pay an additional $100 for a fill in when they won't even last for a month. I definitely will be going elsewhere to get my lashes done because I don't have $100 every two weeks to fill in lashes. read more

Where do I begin? First, my appointment was at 10am and the lash technician did not arrive until 1130am. She did call me and say that she would be 15 minutes late, which I thought would be 1015am not 1130am. I had already paid to park for the 2hr max so I had to pay another fee to park for an additional 2hrs since the appointment was to last 2hrs. Next, when I finally get to the office and explained how disappointed I was to have to pay an additional parking fee, her reply was "I told you to valet park at Fridays" REALLY? On top of all of that, she did not even offer an apology for being so late. I felt the customer service was very rude especially if you expect me to pay you $150. I think not, so I decided at that moment to leave. I was totally disappointed! Oh and the table I was suppose to lay on was dirty.
