This nursery was my go to for plants and advice. I had a very unpleasant experience . There were two women working that day and both helping other customers. One had a large purchase which was almost complete. She offered to let me cut for my small purchase. Worker said no, the other worker could ring me up. The other worker carried out a plant to customer's car. I asked a question and she disappeared for a long time. After waiting 20 minutes the first worker rang me up. She was RUDE. I asked a few question. Didn't thank me and turned around abruptly. The prices for landscaping bushes are twice as expensive and half the size of Home Depot. I will not be purchasing any of my large landscaping plants from them. Seems like if you make small purchases you are not worthy of any customer service . read more

Between the koi pond, the little garden shed full of garden merchandise, and the main areas to buy plants, this nursery was amazing. I ended up chatting with one of the staff about a couple of the plants they had in stock, where they like to grow, and if it didn't work for the space we have, alternatives. I even learned about a tree they had on the grounds and was warned of its... vigorous spreading. Not invasive or anything. Just a happy tree. Haha Ultimately, I wasn't able to get any plants as we were on a timeline, but I would definitely go back or check with them if I can't find it closer to home. They have a wide variety of local plants and house plants and even some local honey and duck eggs. All in all, it's a win for me. read more

My husband and I are so pleased with the service we received from The Nursery at Mt Si! From purchasing trees to the landscaping/installation experience. Mallory at the nursery was so patient while we decided which Japanese maples we wanted. Craig the landscape designer delivered the trees today, along with the Arborvitae's. He laid everything out and made sure that we were achieving what we wanted with the layout of the plants. I asked him to also clean up our landscaping by moving existing trees/plants around. They added more beauty bark in the areas that needed it and made sure it was all smoothed out. I am so pleased with how everything turned out! This is exactly the kind of experience we were looking for. Highly recommend! read more

What an amazing Nursery! The choices are endless - so many varieties and maturities of plants. You can really get what you need for your home. We bought three Japanese maples, one red and two green. It took a while to choose as the quality is so awesome! We also chose two beautiful hydrangea plants that will be stunning! The options are unlimited. When I went to pay, the helpful cashier told me I was going to save 30% on my maples! I didn't realize they were all on sale and he made sure I got my discount. Great employees - so helpful and patient. One guy was so helpful in Loading our plants, taking care to place them so they would travel well. Well worth the hour drive from our place. We will be back, again and again! Go check them out, you will be glad you did! read more

I was looking around for a nursery that does not use the bee killing pesticides like neonicotinoids (Lowes and Home Depot use it) and was happy to hear that they do not. The staff is kind and knowledgeable not to mention the setting is beautiful. I also love supporting small businesses. They also have a fun little pond that kids love. They even have a pet turtle!
