I took my 74 year old grandmother here for a 45 minute session on day 2 of her arrival from sea level to give her some energy back and help recover from her first leisurely day in the mountains with only a can of oxygen day 1. She felt so much better and was able to walk longer without tiring. I live in Denver so altitude wasn't a concern for me, however I did feel more revitalized after a 30 minute session in solidarity with her The staff was fabulous. I didn't like my first scent and they happily changed it for me and brought us custom drinks. I will return again just for the hospitality of the workers honestly. My family and I came here for a little pick me up and had a great experience. The oxygen had essential oil infused options that were pleasantly mild. They also have hot/cold drinks, coffees, and smoothies. The owner was very informative and kind during our experience and offered discounted punch cards for future visits during our trip. Pretty cool place and good resource for those not feeling great. Their taking covid restrictions very seriously which I appreciated. The place is clean and we were spread out even in our little group. We got set up quickly, given clear instructions and were just hanging out getting the oxygen. I had planned for 15 minutes but ended up doing 30 and could've done 45. Either way I left feeling way better! It's priced pretty well especially if you feel like crap but does get kind of expensive the longer your there and cans are relatively cheap alternative. We came to Breckenridge from Houston for a break from the summer heat. The trip has been amazing but we were feeling a little headache, winded walking up hills..all things we fully expected given the flat landscape of houston and change of allergens. This was my first time at a oxygen bar and I will tell you I liked it. You come in and sit down on a comfortable lounging couch or at the bar and they will bring you a drink and ask you what type of oxygen you want. You can get different kinds of oxygen to achieve different things from energy to sleep and relaxation. I felt better after the oxygen treatment and I had the 60 minute treatment. I will tell you, you're only going to fill good it for about 20-30 minutes once you leave. After getting back in that Breckenridge air and altitude you're definitely going to feel that oxygen leaving your body again and you are going to get back slow motion, I say by the time you walk around for 20 to 40 minutes you going to be right back where you started at. Some may feel a bit better longer. but nonetheless, it's going to be an uphill struggle at that point. The staff was pretty good and they get you a setup fairly fast, they bring a few treats and you get your drink order on. You can enjoy sandwiches and other foods and drinks while you taking in your oxygen. You can buy treatments from 15-minute treatment up to a 2-hour treatment you can even buy canisters of oxygen and portable oxygen machines to take with you back to the resort or hotel. So, this year for some reason, was having trouble adjusting to the altitude. Tried the cans of air, chlorophyll drops, etc. Nothing seemed to work. So, out of desperation, decided to try this place out. It was just what the doctor ordered. After 30 minutes of chilling out with a tube up my nose and a cup of coffee in my hand, I was ready to head out and take on the slopes! Prices were very reasonable, and service was excellent. My family all enjoyed the hot chocolate, peppermint patty. My wife got the hot caramel cider, and I got the Italian soda. Kudos to Emily for helping us get situated and helping us understand the benefits of O2 and combating altitude sickness. I was feeling short of breath my first day in Breck, never could quite catch my breath, especially when going to bed. We purchased the 45 minute O2 therapy and, while it took a few hours for me to feel the full effect, the next 24 hours, were completely different than the previous 24 hours. Emily was one of the most friendliest humans I've ever met, she is an asset to the O2 Lounge. The lounge is spacious with couches, bar areas, areas outside that are comfortable and clean. We would not hesitate to go back but for us the one time O2 session has helped us get over the hump. I'm a true believer now, if you're experiencing altitude sickness, you don't have to suffer through it until you acclimate, go to the O2 Lounge. read more

I really am not amused with this place at all. I was very excited upon running into it the first night I stayed in Breckenridge because I was having a very hard time adjusting to the altitude change being a Floridian. So the next day when it had opened up we went. We waited at the front door to be told to come in, there were not many people inside but the few that were, were wearing a mask. We went to the bar and told the employee we did not know what to do because we have never been here and they had directed us to a table for us to scan a QR and gather information ourselves. They don't offer wifi so everything took forever to load on our phones considering the location... We overheard the employee explaining the process to two other groups, so for us to not get the same treatment that was frustrating. I got the 30 minute with the Joy scent and didn't realize until after I got this smell that I could have just gotten water ( after overhearing from another group....yet again.) And I would have done that instead. We ordered smoothies which were not very good at all, and I feel the employee working had a bit of an attitude. They did well managing the place alone with the amount of guests, but we got some attitude nonetheless. Upon checking out it was again, not a very pleasant encounter. There was a paper saying a special if you did the 45 minute one which would've been only a few bucks more than the 30...so like in my mind why not but that was never told to us, and I had to remind them to grab the o2 can I had just purchased and then was not thanked for coming in at all. Hopefully this place can learn what good customer service is so it can grow to its fullest potential. The concept is great, the facility and experience..not so much. read more

Absolute lifesaver! I was overwhelmed by altitude sickness when I arrived in Breck - much worse than in previous visits. Couldn't sleep, nauseous, horrible headache, and so much more. All I wanted to do was GO HOME - not a great start to a vacation! We went to the O2 Lounge, and they got me set up on a comfy sofa with a big cup of tea and oxygen. You can choose from one of four aromatherapy add-ins at no additional charge, which was nice. I went with "clarity" because the fog-brain was very real. You get 15 minutes of oxygen initially, and keep adding 15 minute increments up to 45 minutes, when they have to cut you off. But I went in really sick, and was feeling much better before the full 45 minute time, so if you need more you're probably in need of medical attention. I took a can to go and it has been helpful to get a quick blast here and there as needed. They do a good job with the covid measures - you wear the oxygen cannula under your mask, and people are fairly well spread out in the space. There was only one gal working there when I went, but she kept it running smoothly and you don't need much attention after the initial set-up. She was very helpful and made me feel so much better about being so sick - I'm not the only one. The O2 lounge absolutely saved my trip - next time in Breck, I'll be back! read more

This place is great! So great, I went twice in one weekend! I was affected by the altitude when arriving in Breckenridge, and checked this place out. The prices are pretty reasonable and it was a great spot to just relax and breathe! If you keep the nasal cannula (the nose piece you use to get the oxygen) you get a discount if you go back. Honestly should've tried to acclimate better, but you live and learn. Fast forward to me getting nauseous, headache-y and shortness of breath. This place was on the street level and parking in the back. They offer a 4% discount if you're paying cash. The guy at the bar is nice and explained everything pretty well. What I appreciated most about him was that he enforced COVID statures. As for the aromatherapy, I chose the joy for myself. It was a mild smell but it felt like you're in an orange orchard. My bf got the relaxation mix. He said that none of the scents over powered each other. I also tried the clarity mix and it was such a good scent. Absolutely saved my trip! Woke up at 5am with splitting heading and nausea. Was at their doors the moment they opened and was impressed by their cleanliness, professionalism and care. Learned quite a bit from the lovely gentleman (didn't catch his name but British accent was also soothing) who repeated the informative spiel about the service multiple times to guests during my 45 minute session. After renting fat tire bikes from Ridden, we rode a measly 5 miles and uphill ALL THE WAY BACK!! We're used to doing 20 miles...easy...but at Hawaii sea level. Not so easy 9600+ feet up where there are low oxygen levels. huff...puff...can't...breathe. The guys at Ridden suggested trying the O2 Lounge...it seems to help. $20/30 min seemed high but decided to give it a try. Very pricey given that these oxygen bars promise patrons health benefits that simply have no basis in physics or physiology. Indeed, "infinitely too pricey" would be this reviewer's ball-park estimate. Why? Because paying anything for nothing is too much!! While you may get some relief from symptoms associated with elevation sickness while you're lounging around with your stylish nasal cannula; once you disconnect, you'll be right back to square-one in a matter of minutes. Unlike a hearty meal, which is stored as glycogen and fat for later energy demands, your body can't hold on to oxygen for very long at all. Hence why you can survive days without food but only minutes without air. (Don't let them try to up-sell you on a lousy can of Boost Oxygen either. There's not enough oxygen even in their biggest can to make a difference EVEN WHILE YOU'RE USING IT!)
