Terrible service. My daughters and I came in and got started. My husband came in 10 mins later and was completely ignored. A party of 8 came in 15 mins later and were immediately helped while she continued to ignore us. Skip it and go somewhere else. I posted a pic of the employee who would not wait on my husband. Why go to an Oxygen Bar if you've never been before? Well supposedly it helps with altitude sickness and hangovers. However, I wasn't suffering from either of these when my friends and I decided to stop in on a whim. There are four "flavors" to choose from: Joy, Relaxation, Energy and Clarity. I chose Joy and was expecting some kind of uplifting mixture of aromas, but smelled nothing. I usually have a bloodhound-level sniffer, but I was a bit off since my nose was stuffy from the cold, snowy weather. Fifteen minutes and $12 later, I don't think it did much for me. I think I was a little less stuffed up. Maybe. If getting an O2 fix is your thing, get additional discounts on your future sessions with a frequent breather card and by saving and reusing your cannula (that tube that goes up your nose). BOTTOM LINE: Not 100% sure but it seems like a novelty. read more

The environment is pretty good, seems kind of like a man cave. It's nice to be able to sit down and play some board games, or have a drink. They have some nice essential oil mixes for the oxygen, I got joy which smelled nice and citrusy. The O2 Lounge saved our low-elevation butts when we were in Breck area for skiing this winter. We're from Indiana so we knew altitude sickness is always a threat when you're not used to the thin air at 8000 ft. We came here the first three nights we were in the area. We'd start developing symptoms of altitude sickness around 4pm - headache, nausea, fatigue - and then we'd come here and get some oxygen and leave feeling great! We have scientific proof that this place works, too. We brought along a pulse ox monitor that reads oxygen levels in your blood. Normal range is 93-100. We'd be in the 80's before we got to the O2 lounge and by the time we left, it would be back up to 95-97. It's a fun experience, too. Love the games and coffee drinks here. read more

Dropped in for an oxygen fix after hearing and reading good things about it. According to my I-Watch Series 3, when I arrived my Heart BPM was 92 after being treatment after finishing my 30min treatment it dropped into the 60 range! The cost is basically a dollar a minute and you can purchase in 15min increments. After doing my 30min I definitely felt better and was happy we dropped in. We were able to keep our nasal cannula's which would entitle us to a discount (15%) should we come back during our visit. They offer flavored scents you can add and a good variety of drinks you can enjoy during your treatment. If you do plan to go hear you need to get in before the lifts close. We arrived towards the end of the day and by the time we left the place had filled up significantly. This was money well spent, if you are a flatlander you should definitely consider dropping in here if you are having any altitude issues. read more

To be completely honest, we came out here to grab a coffee. This was the only place in the area that served coffee at late afternoon so we thought we would give it a try. We were greeted with the most awkward silence and ominous stares. I asked if they served coffee, the response being a stern "no" from one of the patrons. Terrible customer service and I didn't feel any different after. The owner or the blond lady with tattoos will try to cheat you out of your money if you're younger (we're 19 and 20's). We clearly said 15 minutes 2 times and she yelled across the room as we were starting our session "30 minutes right?" And we all three responded "no no, 15 minutes." About 20 minutes goes by and we ask her how we disconnect and she said we had more time. We told her AGAIN, "but we said 15 minutes?" She ran over to us and yells "well that's why I clarified with you all and you said 30" as she is ripping the cords off of us. Then she continued to talk down to us as we were swiping our credit card to pay! Rudest experience I had in Breckenridge. By far. I sure hope she's not the actual owner and the owner can look up the video footage from tonight (cameras are everywhere) and see how she clearly wasn't paying attention yet treated us, the customers, like complete crap. read more

Breckenridge is an amazing place, full of many great outdoor activities. Combine those with a night of drinking and close to 10k worth of altitude and you are heading towards trouble. Being a sea-level lifer, I have always had trouble with the altitude. During a recent trip to Breckenridge, a night of drinking after whitewater rafting got away from me and I ended up with a massive hangover. Cue O2 Lounge. I waited until they opened at 1pm. (Guy, I would highly recommend changing the hours to capture the burgeoning hangover demographic!) I opted for the "Clarity" scent (as that what I was obviously lacking the night prior) and plopped down on a leather couch and thumbed through the endless Maxim magazines for 15 minutes while breathing my way closer to solid ground. The new owner, Guy, recently purchased the place (it's been around ten years). He and his wife sold everything in the UK to invest in this business. I love that kind of spirit and dedication. For that alone I give it five stars. But the fact that it cured my hangover in 15 mins for $12 makes this place off the charts. (Empire Burger upstairs took the edge off as well...separate review) Also recommend for the non-drinkers out there. My whole family ended up coming during the week and shaking that altitude grip a bit. Go support his gutsy move while erasing your bad decisions with oxygen. Best of luck Guy... read more

I met my cousin in Breckenridge for a girls weekend and live at 50ft above sea level so Breckenridge's elevation knocked me on my butt. I was dizzy, tired, nauseous and ready to get back on a plane to Orange County. We stopped into O 2 to see if maybe getting an oxygen treatment would help. Really enjoyed our visit to O2 Lounge! It's an oxygen bar, coffee shop, and Internet cafe in one spot. It's spacious and has couches you can lounge on, as well as a bar where you can order drinks, and TVs in the back. The staff was friendly and helpful. There were patrons of all ages when we were there. Parents with their kids, someone brought their grandmother, you get the picture. It's 100% safe and can help acclimate you to the change in altitude if you're visiting. Overall, a fun experience! read more

The service was great, and the experience very personalized. Without even considering the oxygen, the atmosphere is relaxing, calm, and welcoming. This was my first time at an O2 bar, and I didn't notice any difference. If you're a first-timer as well, I might say to think twice. It's not the cheapest form of entertainment, but I still have no regrets. You get to keep the tubes, at least! It makes a very cool souvenir. read more

yeah...this place helped a bit with oxygen deprivation...very sweet stoner type girls working there...no doubt quite familiar with the dispensary nearby. Latte I had was un remakable..but properly made. Perhaps psychosomatic...but I think the 20 minute or so treatment made a difference. I did a 30minute treatment the first two days I was in town and it alleviated all my symptoms! Highly recommend.
