Pretty ordinary place overall. Perhaps the beer is great and that might be a reason to go but I did not have any. We had grilled cheese and a chicken sandwich , and it was just okay. But it was far overpriced in my opinion. Don't go for the food. And why does the place have 2 names? Snowbird and Steep? And I was surprised by the number of large dogs allowed inside the restaurant during the entire meal. Unsanitary and very risky for the restaurant. I believe it is also against code. Came here before heading over to River Run Village for some caffeine with the hubby. He had an Americano and I had a hazelnut latte, both super yummy. We sat down at a table to just chat for a while and then it started getting busy as they were showing the World Cup game. Every time I'm in the Keystone area, I HAVE to visit Steep! Who doesn't love a coffee shop and brewery at the same time? I can't speak for their food offerings, other than the scones (fabulous!), but their coffee and their beers always hit the spot. For the coffee offerings, my partner loves a cappuccino, and theirs is top notch! I honestly love all the coffees I've had, but their nitro cold brew is FIRE! As for beer, I love the fact that they make coffee beers (since obviously it's a coffee shop, too!), but I love their selection--always many types to choose from. It always seems like they're also very collaborative with other breweries and local spots, so they've got some experimental options! The service is always great--you can tell the workers like working at the spot (or I assume so!) because they're friendly and super helpful. The ambiance of the place is super chill, so it's a great place to drink a coffee or grab a beer--definitely check it out when you get a chance! We were in the area to meet family at the wine and jazz festival BUT though I like wine - I cannot drink it in the day time and certainly not with heat and altitude so beer it was and this place was a good pick! Fast, friendly service and we tried two of their IPAs. I had the Mountain Juice Hazy IPA and it was pretty phenomenal! Lots enjoyed their cheesy bread which was also fantastic and note that enough for 4 of us with leftovers and the pretzel! Great atmosphere, fun merchandise, great door and beer !! Sweet corner spot right in River Run Village. Walked right up to the counter and ordered. Service was friendly and quick. Food is a little pricey- our bill was over $45 with two coffees and entrees. However the breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwich was made to order, nice hot food and a big helping. I couldn't eat it all. Really cute coffee shop with friendly service, however this place fills up quick so finding a seat inside could be difficult. The Salted Caramel latte is divine, so tasty I got it 2 days in a row 10/10! The Gourmet Breakfast Sandwich is pretty solid, I especially love the sauce it comes with 8.5/10. Nice wood feel inside. On a cold winter day at the Keystone ski resort after a few runs on the slopes, this is not a bad place to stop by and grab a coffee with a pastry or a craft beer. This place is busy so you'll not experience a quiet moment to chill. After all, any place in a ski resort can be busy/lively so this is very much expected. Also everything is very overpriced (typical at a place like this.) I wanted to get the soup but the guy who helped me said it wasn't quite ready for the day (it was around 10:50am when I got here.) I, hence, got me a blueberry scone instead and it was $8!! It tasted good though. Service was good and quick. There were several guys behind the counter working their bottoms off to assist with people that come and go (in and out.) They also have super easy to read menu boards at the bar. Stopped in for coffee and breakfast. Not much was open, but this place was and it looked inviting. We had lavender honey lattes that were amazing. I ordered the egg and bacon sandwich,and my husband got the breakfast burrito. We were so overwhelmed with how delicious the food was. The service was great for a walk up and order type of place. We got coffees quickly and the food shortly after. The music was 90's grunge and honestly, the vibes in this place were great. I'd come back for lunch and dinner. Love this spot! It operates both as coffee shop and brewery/bar. The staff have always been incredibly friendly and down to earth. They really make Steep so welcoming and fun to hangout at. The coffees are excellent, I love their cappuccino, nothing too fancy it's just done right. They did have some pretty amazing pizza unfortunately they switched vendors and no longer have them. Such a bummer. But I trust Steep will find something to replace them with in time. Lastly the on site brewed beers are great some fun variations including some nitro brews. Definitely worth the stop if you're nearby. read more

Some of our crew wanted coffee after a hike, others wanted a beer so this was a perfect spot! We'd been here before by ourselves but went with another couple. We had two dogs with us and were allowed to sit inside with them which was nice because the outside seating had smaller tables. My husband and I got beers, our friends for coffee. They really enjoyed the coffee and got some beans to go - our beer was solid. Service was also very good, beertender was very nice! We ordered the Hawaiian pizza which was OK - crust was nice but could have done with less cheese and more sauce. Would come again after a day of hiking or skiing! I don't even know where to begin with this place. We stopped over after skiing at Keystone. There's not many people either working or customer service just sucks that much that it feels that way. I waited at the counter, then moved to wait at the bar part of the counter. No one could help me at either even after making direct eye contact with one of the male bartenders. I asked another customer how to order and he even said that you just have sort of wait over there somewhere and they'll try and help you. read more

I came in for my first time after hitting the whitepowder worked up an appetite was craving a IPA and a Pizza ! This place when I walked in was ALIVE so many people inside. I loved the feel of it ! Felt like a local family vibe everyone talked to everyone! Made some new friends sitting at the bar. Highly recommend their thick crust pizza and a beer! The only thing I would have liked better is when I got draft beer it was in a plastic cup. Drinking a beer from a cold glass is the best! Amazing brewery in keystone! Had a flight, all 4 beers were phenomenal. The best one we had was Pau Hana, a coconut porter. To die for. Also the coffee cocktail was amazing. Their wings were 10/10. Before heading up to ski, we wanted to grab breakfast as the food up at the resort was super expensive. Found this little shop along the way to the public parking lot for the ski resort. It's located in the Gateway Mountain Lounge on the far left side (facing the hotel entrance). There's a parking lot with ample parking that won't ever be a problem. My boyfriend and I shared a bagel sandwich which came with our choice of bagel, either sausage or bacon, egg, and cheese. We chose the asiago bagel (cheese) and had our sandwich toasted. When we got the sandwich, it came out piping hot and was HUGE. Definitely not what we both expected for the price paid. No complaints at all. Both of us didn't know what 'asiago' was until I Googled and opened the sandwich LOL. We ordered it as a "cheese bagel" and didn't realize there was a term for it (noobs). The sandwich was delicious! A great meal before doing some snow activities. We also ordered a lemon blueberry scone to bring up as a snack during our break. That was good too! I couldn't taste the lemon and the blueberries were kind of tarty. But loved how the scone wasn't too sweet, and it held its shape even after a long day of skiing. There are other things to order including coffee and hot alcoholic drinks. I was sooo tempted to get an alcoholic drink (liquid courage) but decided against it LOL. Another snowboarding season, another stop at Steep's! As always delicious. We ordered the Dark Chocolate Mocha, Oat Milk latte, and two breakfast bagel sandwiches. Of course the coffees were delicious. We had one bagel sandwich that had to be made into a burrito because the type of bagel we wanted wasn't available. The staff was happy to adjust and make an awesome breakfast burrito! Thanks again for a wonderful breakfast. Make sure to pick up some bagged coffee beans for coffee at home! I had a breakfast burrito and it was solid. I got a latte and it was also solid, though, I wish I had asked for no foam. They conveniently had a water jug at the door for anyone to help themselves to. And for some reason that water was FIRE! So delicious and refreshing lol. Great location. It's the closest place to sit right down off the slopes. I also like how they have hooks all around the place for people to hang ski clothes and materials on. I took off a star because I stood at the bar RIGHT in front of an employee for a long time and no one acknowledged me. Stopped by today for a snack after skiing. We got some hot chocolate and some scones. The hot chocolate is a normal hot chocolate you can expect at any coffee shop but the whip cream was awesome! So thick and creamy! We also tried the chocolate cherry and cranberry orange scones. They were really good and perfectly baked. The place is super cool and has a chill vibe. The people are also friendly. I like how the prices are fair considering that it's in a ski town but maybe it's because this location isn't in river run village. Anyways will be back to try other food and beer next time. read more

Ski bunnies and boarders- you've got a new favorite spot for pre-ski breakfast and apres ski drinks! Located just outside of River Run, Steep Brewinf is perfectly located for your slope adventures. We stopped by after a Saturday of full skiing. My husband got a stout- great body and flavor! I got a maple bourbon latte (their syrups are made in house)- perfection in a cup! We also split a sticky bun- sooooo many pecans. Yummy! I can't wait to head back to Steep. We've always struggled finding a spot after skiing Keystone, and I'm stoked to have a craft brewery and coffee shop under the same roof. read more

I really wanted to like this place but they just didn't hit it for me slow service. you can hear the wait staff gossiping about patrons, just all around not a good RIDE the pizza is ok and the beer is ok maybe not family friendly though. If you're visiting during mud season, you'll be delighted (as we were) to find this tasty spot open + serving. Judy cooked up our hot and fresh breakfast, while Grace whipped up a hot chocolate for me and my husbands' white chocolate mocha w/almond milk; both drinks were great temp and taste. The breakfast menu had so many tempting options, though Judy gave a solid recommendation for the burritos. She wasn't wrong - the eggs were well seasoned, and the sausage was not overpowering; the perfect balance. My hubby likes it hot, so he added some Franks for a little flavor boost. The honey cinnamon cream cheese sold me on The Hoodoo and my oh my, it delivered. Judy was so attentive and generous - she thought the spread was a little light on my bagel, so she offered an extra side of honey cinnamon cream cheese, along with a knife so we could easily split and share our delicious dishes. All that to say, we are in the area for a few more days. We'll definitely be back, probably tomorrow. read more
