And distressingly, he didn't respond. At first I thought, "that can't be Paul," but a closer look revealed it was. Turned out maybe Paul was angry at us for being Michiganders. The challenger burger was massive, and it was tasty. It hit the spot like uncle Jerry does. The bottom bun was a little soggy from all the grease from the 1 pound burger, but it was still fantastic. I gobbled slobbered bobbled it up like my buddy Mia K does. Paul and his family seemed mad at us, so we looked away. They look like chicken nuggets but taste like wock. Stuff is gas. Literally deisel, and not even on no Joe Bideski prices. We were seated immediately on a Friday at around 1pm. I love their vegetarian options but this is a place that assumes if you are a vegetarian, that you like and must have onions and mushrooms in every meal. I couldn't find much other than pancakes/pastries/sweet shit that didn't have onions and mushrooms but fortunately, they were able to accommodate my request for the tofu scramble without onions or mushrooms. GF ordered the vegetarian quesadilla with, you guessed it, onions and mushrooms (among other things). My tofu scramble was good but calling it a scramble is slightly misleading as it is actually tofu cubes albeit very crispy and tasty tofu cubes. This dish was probably potatoes. A few spinach leaves and maybe 1/100th of a pepper. I will concede to the fact that some of that volume might have been taken up by mushrooms and onions. The dish was very good regardless and the accompanying salsa added a really nice extra je ne sais quoi. I also really like the pay first and then leave whenever you want model to avoid being held hostage to bad service not to say that they would've provided bad service but it is a risk anywhere. Regarding GF's quesadilla which I did not have the pleasure of sampling bc of onions of mushrooms "I thought it was decent". When I asked if she had any details or specifics to add, she replied, "no".

The inside of the restaurant holds 7 extra-wide tables for 4 (but you could stick a 5th at the end, if needed. They also have 2 booths and one large round table seating 6 to 8 people and a small counter of maybe 3 or 4 stools. All and all, I'd definitely go back. Breakfast was good as was the service. The waitstaff was attentive and even offered to give me a coffee to go. I thought that was a nice touch and their prices are competitive. Please note: They do not accept credit or debit cards so be prepared to bring cash along with you.
