Beautiful coffee house and cafe located in a former church. Beautiful ambience and delicious food! Make sure to visit the shop upstairs with local artists treasures!

We were so hungry that we didn't even think about taking pictures of our food. But it's okay, because we will definitely return! We ordered a bagel sandwich with cheese and eggs, as well as a fluffy omelette, and both were incredibly delicious. It was the perfect quick breakfast to fuel us before a day full of adventurous hikes. The service was prompt and friendly, making us feel welcome. Our meals arrived warm and satisfying, with freshly brewed coffee that was rich and aromatic. The restaurant offered a variety of sweets and snacks, so we picked out a few to enjoy during our hike. The place itself was beautiful! Vibrant and colorful, with a cozy, inviting atmosphere that felt just like being in a home away from home.

First time at Cathedral Cafe. Got a strawberry shortcake iced latte and a breakfast sandwich. Pretty busy around 10:30 on a Sunday but was able to order to go. Had some art and jewelry for purchase. A little merch. Otherwise pretty bustling.

My husband and I went hiking with our dogs at New River Gorge National Park last month and I hadn't gotten around to posting my reviews yet. We stopped in at Cathedral Cafe our first morning there before hitting the trails because they are pet friendly on the small deck area/outside where the picnic tables and table sets are. We ordered a blueberry muffin and some sausage for the dogs to split (they were on vacation too!), my husband ordered the breakfast bagel, and I ordered an omelet with toast and potatoes. Nothing was seasoned and we had to go back and ask for butter for the toast because nothing came out with it and it was nothing was offered when it was dropped off. Both of our main breakfast options were pretty bland and overall very expensive for what we received. We ordered a cinnamon roll to split between us and that was good. We sat out where the picnic tables and table sets were to give the dogs more room to lay down/to be away from the front entrance with people going in and out. We found out you cannot take alcohol out past the deck, so we could not have mimosas. Just something to keep in mind if you are visiting from out of town. That area also houses the ice storage, so while we were eating a man kept coming back and forth with a huge ice delivery, which riled up the dogs because it was so loud and right next to where we were sitting. It is a really cute spot and since we were visiting an area near a national park, there are only a handful of options in the small town, so I'm still glad we visited. I just think it is a better spot to sit inside and enjoy the stained glass windows, have access to condiments, etc than to eat outside with dogs.

Food and service was great! Perfect for a quick lunch on the go!! We got the Reuben and avocado toast!

One of the better breakfast spots I've gotten while traveling in a few years. I ordered the 5.10 special with sunny side eggs, bacon and potatoes. It's an evenly balanced platter which is great for a meal, or a starter for the more experienced eaters. I followed that with the blue berry pancakes. They were delicious and had options for chocolate chips as well. The coffee is 6.5-7/10 here. Next time I'll ask them to make it stronger. There are plenty of condiments to choose from, jelly, hot sauces and seasonings. Would highly recommend this beautiful church turned restaurant if you stop in fayetteville!

Our breakfast stop before headin on the road home! Cute spot where you can dine in or take food/drinks to go. Really enjoyed my smoked salmon bagel . Items came out quickly. Service was nice. You order at the counter and given a number. If you're heading into town or heading out, pleasant place to grab a bite. :)

This place was hyped up by a few locals, so maybe I went in with high expectations, but I wasn't impressed. The vibe is cool and it's nice they renovated an old church and kept the character of the place, but that's where the positives end. Service is awkward as you order in line, still have to go get your own drinks and then they ask for an 18-25% tip when you talk to a human for maybe 30 seconds. Prices are high. For $3.99 for a side of potatoes, I was expecting a lot larger portion. The turkey stack breakfast sandwich was just mediocre and lacked flavor. They have a gift shop so maybe you can go in to check out the ambience, but I would skip eating here.

PUMPKIN PIE COLD BREW from Cathedral Café - 134 S Court Street Fayetteville, WV for the perfect coffee-dessertish-yummerific hurricane of tastiness. It was quite pretty to look at, too! They are consistently awesome! It was good seeing you as always, Wendy Stone Bayes! I'm a big fan!

What a beautiful spot! Located in downtown Fayetteville, we parked out front and were quickly greeted by the person behind the bar. She told us to sit anywhere, grab a menu, and order at the purple table. We perused the menu and I decided on the ultimate grilled cheese panini and added ham. It came with a dill pickle spear and chips. The panini was huge! Should have shared! The bread was so good though! My husband had to try the animal cracker cheesecake and I had a small bite. It was very good! My friend ordered the carrot cake and that was divine! They have a retail shop upstairs as well with some fun shopping to check out while you wait for your food.

Panini was delicious & Tomato soup was thick; really flavorful. The souvenirs were cool- shirts, stickers and more.. pretty quick service after the 25 min wait. Went during the summer around 12:30 lunch time on a Sunday. The key lime pie martini was interesting, not too bad at all. I'd love to go back when I have more time. Didn't get to go upstairs

This restaurant was recommended by the hotel and our white water raft tour guide.. Overall, we felt it was just OK. You order your food at the cash register. Your drinks/coffee will be called for you to pick up your drinks. They deliver your food to your table. When you pay, you have an option to leave tip at 18%, 20%, 25% or other. Chocolate chip pancakes were burnt (see pix) Chicken quesadilla was ok - chicken was a bit dry Chicken pot pie (special) - not that great and we didn't finish it. I prefer the one in Glencoe at Apple a Day. Smoked Turkey, provolone cheese, and avocado panini was ok - they only gave three small slices of avocado (see pix). Breakfast burrito - ok (a bit cold inside) Overall, the cafe was just a regular cafe.

We went for breakfast and the place was fantastic, coffee bar, small outdoor seating area and some great food as well! The staff made you feel like home and a must stop if you are in the area.

The roast beef was really good. I thought the biscuit was really good too. She knew my husband and I split our meal so they loaded us up with green beans and gave us double mashed potatoes. Not too much to choose from as a vegetarian. Both GF and I went with the hash brown and cheese biscuit sandwich. GF added a side of gravy, I a side of apples. It took a little longer than expected given the simplicity of our order but as I said, the place was inundated with customers. Biscuits were delicious. Hash brown was very crispy. Cheese could have been more plentiful. Apples were fantastic literally what you would find inside of an apple pie. GF also ordered a vanilla iced coffee that she was kind enough to share with me and I wouldn't be able to distinguish it from flavored milk with a gun to my head. Also the staff were super nice.
