I came here recently to pick up my authenticated items by JSA since Beckett was unavailable to come in to authenticate customer's submitted items. As always, the service provided by the OC Dugout, Brian specifically, was superb. The dude is always a joy to interact with. JSA, if you are reading this, please change your sticker design. It's so ugly and gross looking. I am embarrassed to have it prominently displayed on my personalized autographs. Who's the numb nuts who approved that ugly design? I bet it was a dude because no female would ever approve that design. Is the man who approved that horrible design blind or what? Seriously, who approved it? Go buy a new set of eyes. Also, can you please handle autographed photos with care? I'm disappointed that some of my items were bent in corners that weren't bent in before. If you keep this up, I will stop letting JSA authenticate my items. read more

BLOWN away at the SPECTACULAR service here! Been wanting to get JT Snow's autograph for some time. I saw that JT was making an appearance at THE OC Dugout but I do not live near that area. I called and the person I spoke to answered all my questions and was easy to talk to. I mailed in my items, and they kept in touch via e-mail. The signing occurred this past Saturday. It's Tuesday, and I have my items. My FIRST time doing business with The OC Dugout, but definitely not my last as I plan on checking the site often. Amazing customer service! Amazing selection! I know nothing about sports. But my wife is huge sports fan, specifically Angels. I searched high and low for authentic autographed Angels merchandise with little luck. I called places that would refer me to other places and eventually a reputable memorabilia dealer told me The OC Dugout would have what I needed and they were trustworthy. Spoke on the phone with Brian who was super knowledgeable about what they had and didn't have. He helped me pick out multiple pieces that fit my needs and budget. I was mostly concerned with not getting ripped off and just getting what was represented. He took the time and explained different levels of verification and which pieces were authenticated and which were not or which ones could be authenticated if I wanted. Long story short I needed to pick these up for a gift by the weekend but I couldn't get to Orange County until Sunday. He actually met me on a day that they were closed to deliver the merchandise and take payment. This was not a big sale so it really speaks a lot about their customer service that he would take the time on his day off to help me out. As I was picking up what I purchased we were chatting. He casually mentions some of the players that signed everything I was buying and, oh yeah, he's got pictures with them. Then he shows me pictures of him with my wife's favorite player. I have been collecting signatures and memorabilia for over 30 years now. As you can imagine in this industry you come across some real shady and unethical people, OC Dugout is not one of those! They are honest and very fair. The customer service provided by the owner is topnotch, he responds to emails extremely quickly. While people here have complained about the prices, they are extremely fair and reasonable. The public signings are very well ran, organized and always on time. Had some time to kill before our hotel room was ready, so we searched Yelp and this was the closest "card shop". A little place that has more memorabilia than cards. If you want signed memorabilia, this place has some high end stuff. If you are wanting sports cards, this place isn't for you. Had a bunch of "discount" single cards in storage boxes that did consume a lot of our time searching through, but these were mainly non-stars. Didn't really carry boxes/packs of cards like we expected. In fact we saw only a couple of unopened boxes and a few 1990 discount packs on the checkout counter. They were having a Beckett authenticator coming the next day and a sign indicated they do have some signing days from local pros. Overall not really what we were looking for (sports cards), but more a higher-end, signed sports memorabilia store. 2 stars for a card shop, 4 1/2 stars as a memorabilia shop. Alot of people have mixed reviews about this place and for a long time I was one of them. I'm honestly not a big sports collector but I'm a big mike trout fan and as his career began to take off so did his autograph prices. For a while I was upset about his autograph price jump but ultimately I paid because I knew his price would only keep jumping. I can't really blame the shop for the prices because ultimately it's a bussiness that supplies a service and you do not have to buy. Sure the owner may say something you don't agree with on Facebook or even block you from commenting on the store page, but ultimately you don't have to buy and no one is making you. These people aren't here to be your friend they're here to provide a service If you are willing to pay. Plus when your the only game in town that offers the players you want it's hard to complain about that bussiness while at the same time your giving them your cash. One of the best shops out there. They bring out a lot of people for Autographs from Wally Joyner to Gary Payton to even some Dodgers (I know this Angels town). But overall a great experience. Very reasonable on the autograph pricing and they usually have PSA/DNA to authenticate as well. Facebook page is very informative and is the best place to find out about these signings. They have another shop OCSportsCards in Anaheim Hills that puts on signings as well and they even bring in Disney stars. read more

Just want to say if you're looking for a gift that's out of the ordinary that's not just something off the shelf at a local Box Store I got something that you can't find anywhere else and I'll just say from what I was told it was the best gift of the day I'm not going to say it was cheap and I'm not going to say it was super expensive but for $100 I got my money's worth and I know it's not just going to end up in a landfill one day and I think the kid appreciates the gift that he got and we'll have for a long time to come. read more

Not the best prices, not the best selection, but compared to most stores this place has plenty of boxes and junk that would get anyone excited. The thing that bothered me was the stupid store hours they have, which is why I'm glad to be able to look them up online but it's few and far between when it works with my schedule. Some days they're not even open, which doesn't even make much sense. I personally like purchasing boxes of cards from a store, it's a much lesser damage risk than having to buy them online from someone who already had it shipped to them before. It's just how I view it, the less it's shipped around the less likely you're going to receive something that got banged up upon delivery. Which is why I hate the business hours here. I don't even care if the workers are rude, long as they sell me a product that I really want I don't care what they think of me. I just want a quality product that's in perfect shape, something I can physically purchase in person for a fair price is good in my book. This place has a ton of crap that I think is great, otherwise I can buy stuff online. To those who complain about the prices of the boxes, unless you're getting free shipping online you're not really spending a ton of money here. It's the convenience you're paying for, this place buys them by the case and can sell them for what people are willing to pay for. You can also buy protectors for your cards here, most places I buy boxes from overcharge for sleeves, top loaders, screw downs or the magnetic cases unless I purchase them in bulk. It's a business, they have to pay the bills to keep the store running. Like I mentioned before, they don't have the best prices or selection, but they have stuff I want to buy and am willing to pay a little more to get the products that I want. Some may find the prices unfair, but it's your option not to pay for it. We don't have our parents holding our hands walking into the store, we're all big enough to make our own decisions. It's a nice location, they don't have a record of ripping people off with counterfeits, if they say they're selling the real deal you know it's true. Things could be handled better, the workers and owner may upset some people, but the fact is their store hours suck. read more

Location: Located in Hobby City across from the Junk Yard. They recently moved over next door to a larger facility. It even has a 2nd floor. However when I was there they were still moving things from the old store over. Prices: Prices Online for their boxes/cases compare to in store is slightly different. More Expensive in-store. Compared to other online retailers they stack up pretty well in pricing. However that California tax is a killer New Products: When a new product comes out for football/baseball/basketball etc... they usually will have it the day before street date or on street date majority of the time. I usually drop by for a box or a few packs of the new product while waiting for my case or boxes from online to be delivered. In House: They have singles of current players/retired. Lots of sports cards supplies. Rewards Program: They recently introduce a new loyalty program where when you get 20 stamps you'll receive a Free Gift during their Customer Appreciation Day. Usually happens once a month I believe I can be wrong. You'll get a stamp for the following: Buying a box of sports cards Buying a framed autograph item Buying a ticket to their autograph signings (The do have big names come by to sign) Playing at least 5 rounds in their Pack wars Purchase any of their Hidden Gems Products (Don't know what this is) Win one of their Live/Silent Auctions I'm Glad to have LCS (Local Card Store) Near by my place. Today was the first time I checked out this place in Anaheim. First off, I called the store asking if they had a baseball card I was looking for. Fortunately, they did and were also kind enough to hold it for me. Inside, you'll find tons of sports memorabilia and entertainment collectibles. Brian, the owner, is a really cool guy! He's helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, has connections and great stories to share. He encouraged me to sit back, relax, and take my time browsing through his items. I felt very comfortable. All said and done, he offered me a great deal and I'm glad to have found this gem of a place. FYI - They also sell online via eBay; and sometimes have public and private autograph signings from players like Mike Trout (going to be on the lookout for that). Very disappointed with Mike Trout signed item I paid $800 for. Autograph location and provided pen were not honored. For that kind of coin, should be the LEAST they could do. Also, Millville Meteor inscription had squeezed in barely visible final r. Tried to give a second chance and they couldn't find my ball at first nor find the provided pen. I'm not sure about Frank W's review, he sounds like a nig ol' exagerating drama queen. This is pretty much the only place I will shop for cards. Not only are the owners and employees (totalling three for both categories total) friendly, but they are knowledgable and the most fair business owners I know. I've never been diappointed here. Not a friendly place AT ALL! The two guys that are there couldn't care less how they talk to people and I've even heard them make fun of customers. They stereotype people and laugh about it. The OC Dugout is the best card shop in the OC! The owners are totally friendly. Awesome customer service. I live about 45 minutes away and I don't mind the drive for that type of service. The OC Dugout are also known for their awesome autograph signings. The OC Dugout are well organized with the autograph signings. Not like some other places that rush you though, to get you in and out. The OC Dugout makes it more personal.
