There are also a few gambling machines in the back that appeared to be the most high tech thing in the whole place. The atmosphere was really quite retro, though perhaps not by design. The server (can't remember her name) was attentive and friendly. She chatted with my coworker and I while she prepared our burger on the griddle right in front of us. If you are looking for an authentic West Virginia type of experience, this is a great place to try. Just don't bring your kids, because they will not be allowed in!

Prices are way too high for a burger that has been smoked... I mean come on, it's still a burger! Fries are way too thin and greasy and the burgers are actually very dry - I've had other things there are was not impressed at all. Chili just tasted weird -- not sure what it was, but it was like it was sour, bad, way too old. Milkshakes aren't too bad - and they have a really good variety of different kinds of burgers but the burger itself is just way too dry and over cooked every single time we have tried it (6 times to be exact) and it was the same every time - consistently dry, cold, bad.... I think $10 for a burger only --- is a bit much - it's smoke for gods sakes and it's not any bigger than anyone else's burgers - just don't get what you pay for and way too high of prices on everything!!! Not worth it. It's not just one $ sign, whoever did that lied ... its more like $$$$. You can see in the pictures the burger itself isn't really much bigger than McDonalds! Sad read more

It's ok , but burgers are dry. Not very thick and they cost a lot. I think spending $8 to $9 on a burger only is way too much for anyone to try and pull off. Fries are not that good either, it's different, I mean the burger is smoked and tastes pretty good, just way too dry for me - it's hard for me to swallow dry foods like that. Their burgers are no bigger than what you get at any restaurant - actually a little thinner - even Ponderosa has bigger and better burgers for way less and you get a lot more with it! The pretty picture of the burger is not what it looks like at all - the burgers are just kinda thrown together and a big mess - stuff falling out all over and fries usually on the cold side and you don't get many of them. All together dry, greasy, and not worth the money. But..... the chili is awesome! I would recommend that to anyone! You can taste the smoked meat in it --- very good. read more

This used to be my absolute favorite restaurant and I would visit at least once per week, sometimes more. However, when I tried to order my carry out meal tonight, I was informed they are now prioritizing dine in and carry out gets pushed aside. My food was usually done before I could even get there from my office, so I always wait until I'm ready to leave office. However, now it's gonna take 45 minutes. Sorry, but I shouldn't have to sit in your dinning room to get served. Carry out is actually less work for you... no dishes or tables to clean. But hey you made your choice and lost a regular customer simply because I don't wanna eat there alone and would rather take it home to eat. Bad decision and I'm gonna miss your food. I have never eaten inside and not gonna start now, so goodbye. Guess I won't be getting those gift cards during holidays either. read more
