They have delicious barbeque sandwiches and sell some delicious sauces too! One sauce is called: "Slap yo Mamma!" It's tangy so hence the name! Very good sauces too! Purchased the sauces for a Christmas basket gift. read more

Amazing! Love the green beans! The whole family loved it. Kids got sandwiches and I got the dinner. Thumbs up to the garlic toast.

Had BBQ burrito with a ton of toppings and a side of fries. The taste was perfect, burrito was huge! I eventually managed to eat it all, I couldn't bear to waste any. Haven't been here in around 3 years. Walked in and it reminded me of the same exact place. Amazing customer service. Was walked through the menu and wasn't rushed over picking food. Was served and paid. Wasn't very expensive and great food. Was delivered the food that we had to wait on. I would recommend this to anyone. Food is great but the service makes it a 10/10. I'm back home visiting family and saw there's a new BBQ joint in town and decided to try it out. Service was great, super friendly staff. Food tasted great, nice and smoky flavor. Had the pulled pork, rack of ribs, fries, coleslaw and potato salad. All was fresh. Only reason i didn't give a 5th Star was because i saw the rack of ribs come from appeared to be the cooler and was told it would be 10 minutes on ribs (no problem), but they weren't hot. Will definitely be back, we all enjoyed the meal. read more

We own a cabin in lovely Carrolton and always enjoyed stopping at Jimmies for good BBQ. Unfortunately, I had to walk out without ordering today. No employees are wearing masks and that is not acceptable. I'm an RN and COVID is no fun if you are infected, and trust me, wearing a mask is a lot less cumbersome than laying on your stomach with oxygen or being on a ventilator. This virus is easily spread and to not want to protect your customers is just plain wrong. I'm sorry to say, I will not be back until you make mask wearing mandatory to work there or COVID is under control and I am telling anyone else who values life to not patronize any business who does not value your safety. read more

It was ok. The baked beans, chicken wings and pulled pork were great. The mac and cheese was bland and neither my wife or I enjoyed it. Some of the bbq sauces were good. The ribs were fall off the bone tender but to me, needed more smokey flavor. The pulled chicken was not my favorite read more

I have always enjoyed meals from Jimmy's, but I was very disappointed to enter the business today to find that no employees were wearing masks. I had to ask the employee who waited on me to put on a mask before she prepped my food. I would have walked out if she hadn't complied with my request. I overheard another employee say that they weren't wearing masks because the kitchen was too hot. I realize that I have a choice not to patronize this business in the future; just disappointed that I have to make the choice. read more

Don't blink or you'll miss it...and you don't want to miss this place! You'll have to get past the pumpkin orange walls but once you taste the food you won't mind closing your eyes and just enjoying the deliciousness. Best BBQ I've had in Ohio. Smoked perfectly - not too strong, just enough to taste the smoke and still enjoy the flavor of the meat. The brisket and ribs are no knife needed tender and the variety of sauces will please any palette. For sides try the beans and coed bread. Enjoy- we sure did! read more

2016-05-16 I stop here for lunch for a geocaching Event out at Atwood lake. I got the Jimmy Boy sandwich, which is a sausage sandwich with pulled pork piled on to of it. Then I got Sara sweet & Spicy BBQ sauce on top of it. I have to say, I loved the sandwich.. and the pulled pork was so moist without the BBQ sauce. Have to say they know what they are doing with the pulled pork. I went to the geocaching event and meet some friends and they ate their too and was oging to eat there again for supper on the way back home. I like their coleslaw a little and since I am not a big coleslaw fan That is a compliment. Now the Mac and Cheese I got, well I thought was too runny. But that is just my preference on mad and cheese. I like it solid enough to put on a pulled Pork sandwich.So for Supper I got the two meat place which I got the Sausage (yeah I liked it that much) and Chopped Brisket. The Chopped Brisket was so moist and I also got a lot of Bark (bbq term for the outside seasoned part of the Meat) on order. The Sides I got was baked beans and fresh cut fries. The Baked beans was really good and I had two Big Chunks of Bacon.. I mean Chunks too.. it was like a 1/2 inch of cudbe bacon. And the fresh cut fries was delicious.. though they was a litle thin cut for my taste but that is me being picky. :) However they had Malt Vinegar there so that made up for it. and our group had all the meats order from ribs, pulled prok, pull chicken, and brisket.. everyone was happy and my obeservvation is all the meats was very moist. which is what most bbq places are lacking. Also this place has an option of corn bread or garlic bread. And since I am not a big fan of cornbread this added points to this place. My true rating on this place really is a 4.5. Would I make a special trip to this place to eat and that is what I give a 5 too. it is so close to doing that. read more

Very good BBQ! Not cheap, but good ribs and sides for sure. It is always busy, so it will take a bit going through the line (think Chipotle). The inside is very clean, and it makes for a perfect lunch / dinner spot for a couple, or with the whole family. They have different specials every day. read more

Was in town for a friend's wedding and decided to check this place out based on the other reviews (and because there weren't many other dining options near the hotel). This place was awesome! My date had the brisket sandwich and I had the Jimmy boy. All of the meat was tender and moist, exactly the way it should be. We sampled all of the sauces, and nothing disappointed. The Mac and cheese and Cole slaw were both delicious as well. If you ever find yourself in Carrollton, OH, this place is a must! read more
