I got the shrimp And grits and my husband ordered the halibut. He wanted asparagus instead of rice and our server said no Problem but failed to mention the upcharge. However it was probably the best shrimp and grits and halibut I ever had. Having reviewed the menu before hand I knew it was going to be pricey. Having eaten all over the world, I can say you won't get better food. Perfect for a special occasion. Decor is whimsical New Orleans style.

With a focus on Louisiana style cuisine, every item on the menu is made fresh daily. I am a huge advocate of supporting local businesses and this is one I highly recommend! Last night we started with the Ahi Tuna Tower. Diced sushi grade Ahi Tuna on Fried Wontons with diced cucumber, cilantro, with vinaigrette drizzle. Next was the Lobster Bisque. Creamy and loaded with lump lobster. Entree was the Filet with Mushrooms on Yukon Mashed Potatoes. An 8oz lean filet surrounded by beautifully mushrooms. Also had a side of Asiago Grits, which were absolutely delicious. For dessert it was the Salted Caramel Pecan Rum Lava Brownie. Every morsel was simply amazing. If you've never been, you're missing out.

First impression of the inside of the restaurant was great...kind of like speakeasy vibes, cool decor, dark. We were greeted by the water waiter who offered us three types of water to choose from. Waitress came over and took our orders. First thing to come out was the Waygu Beef Carpaccio. I took a pic of it but it didn't save to my phone for some reason but it was a solid 10/10. That garlic horseradish aioli was amazing. Secondly, my dad's meal came with a salad, he chose ceasar which might have had the best croutons on it that I've ever had. Bread was also served which was a sourdough, I believe, with 2 butter options (regular and garlic) and an olive oil. Very good. Dad's meal was the 14 oz bone in ribeye with a one pound loaded potato. He said all was very good. For my meal, I got the Cajun cream pasta with steak. It was perfection. There is nothing bad I can say about this dish other than I didn't think it was spicy at all. Didn't matter though because the flavor was great. With the Father's Day special, dads got a dessert and an old fashioned with their meal as well. For dessert, he got the lemon blueberry cheesecake. I took a bite of it and it was so good. The reason I didn't give this experience 5/5 stars is because the service was lacking. Typically, I factor in if the restaurant is busy. I'll start by saying, they were not busy. Out of the 13 or so tables, 6 were occupied including us. Our waitress maybe had us and another table she was waiting on. The waitress was very nice but I had to ask for items a couple times. Bread, drink refills, etc. The water waiter filled our drinks many times and then he stopped coming around. I asked the waitress for refills on our drinks and ended up having to remind her. I know technically it was the water waiters job so I'm not faulting her entirely because she did end up being the one to fill our glasses. At the end, she did tell us it was one of her first nights there so then we understood some of the hiccups. Again, very nice and certainly not a horrible waitress. She did great for the most part. We will definitely be back to try more menu items. Highly recommend- go try it out. Enjoy some food pics I took.

I got the chef salad. Someone else got the grilled salad, someone got the ribs, and the club sandwich. The salads were decent size. They did forget the hard boiled egg and we got it later on a dish to add. The ribs were cold and so was the baked potato. Not sure if it sat for a bit. Service was ok. She had a lot of tables. We were just one. We weren't too needy. But I would have liked more water. The reviews were decent which is why we went. But everything was just slightly average. I'd probably try some place else next time.

We walked into Town House and were greeted by a few local patrons and a friendly server. My colleague ordered the tomato soup and grilled cheese with fries which she stated was good. It wasn't over the top fantastic but was a good solid choice. I chose 12 traditional wings- 6 were BBQ dry rub and 6 were Cajun dry rub- I'd say they were excellent. All 12 had a good amount of meat on them. Also, the dry rub was the perfect amount. Often you get wings coated in the dry rub or you're looking for the dry rub in the basket. Overall, I'd recommend Town House if you're in the Marietta area.

Bruno's Spotted Hare is fantastic…read more I stopped by recently with a family member while visiting, having heard good initial things about this restaurant. The space is gorgeous; it has the dark coziness of a lodge with beautiful, wild-inspired accents. We were seated in a booth near the window: the booth was comfortable but may be a tight squeeze if two larger adults are sitting on the same side (I'd recommend asking for a table in that case). I started off with an American Trilogy cocktail and loved it; it was surprisingly smooth and easy to drink while being flavorful. We debated appetizer options but went with the sourdough bread and butters. The butters were rosemary, garlic, and sorghum, and while all were great, the sorghum was a favorite. The bread was flavorful and nicely chewy. I'm always happy to see a vegetarian-friendly soup on a menu, so I ordered the beans and greens soup and loved it. It has a very deep flavor, yet the beans weren't overly mushy. The server (who was amazing) recommended some Tabasco for adding heat, which I enjoyed. For entrées, my dining partner got the fried chicken on the server's recommendation, and I got the mushroom pasta. The fried chicken was described by my relative as a crunchy coating with a moist meat; they called it "the best fried chicken" they've had. I tasted the mashed potatoes and can happily vouch for them, as they were creamy and perfectly seasoned. My dining partner raved about the home-style green beans, too. My mushroom pasta was fantastic. The mushrooms were cooked perfectly and were flavorful without being slimy or mushy. The pasta was hearty and cooked al dente. As a pleasant surprise. I got a couple slices of bread with my pasta, too; this time topped with some cheese and seasoning. It was perfect for soaking up the last bits of pasta sauce, as I cleaned my plate. I got dessert to go; it was the cornmeal pound cake and packaged conveniently (with the ice cream separate). It was delicious even at home; the cake itself wasn't too sweet, meaning that the combination of it, the ice cream, and the honey had a perfect balance of flavor. I will try to make a special trip here whenever I'm in the area. It's a beautiful, special addition to the local dining scene.
