It's a tavern. It's an inn. It's old. Like 1898 as one of the oldest bars in the state. All good things for a local drinking hole. There's nothing refined about it and walls are filled with...stuff. I do recommend this place but I also love experiences of all ranges and the time we went here, it was quite a great one. We were in a large group and as soon as we launched through the door, we were met with curious eyes! The locals had set up in what I assume their regular spots and thus, wondered what this new crew was doing here. In no time, those curious became very welcoming! However, as we enjoyed some libations and a bit of pool... we were the ones joining the locals with eyes filled with awe and curiosity! Truly the best dog bar around! They have a dog gate right when you walk in and dogs can go behind the bar and anywhere. They also have an outdoor area with seating and a fire pit. Everyone who goes there loves dogs and it has such a great atmosphere. Maisey is AWESOME!! So friendly and great service! They don't serve food but Pilchuck is around the corner or you can door dash food in. They have chips for purchase and complimentary popcorn and nuts Beer is cold. I wish they would allow sound to be on for non Washington teams but that's my only negative and there's way too many positives!! read more

We use to really enjoy coming here. We were there a month ago. Stephanie was our server. My table ordered another round. There was 4 of us . She brought 3 drinks. This happened three times. Meanwhile she was sitting at a customers table hanging out. About a month later we went to the bar again. We were then rudely greeted by Heather on the curb and asked not to come in. Also Heather would get angry at me when I didn't bring my drink cup back (greyhound) . She didn't want to dirty another glass. Prices great!! Not good enough for that. read more

Fun place to go to for late night drinks. Could smoke out back, they had pool tables and jukebox. Great atmosphere.

My girlfriend and I met up at the Old Inn for our monthly meet. Free street parking can be found. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Old Inn does not have a kitchen; however, Brava's pizza by the slice can be purchased. Outdoor food is also welcome. Old Inn does not have any surrounding restaurant menus on hand to help the local businesses which is a shame. Entertainment purposes one will find: several mounted TVs, pull tabs, pool tables, and darts. Old Inn is dog friendly and dogs are allowed off-leash while on the premises. During our visit, we slurped on a couple pints of Bodhi and Manny's. We ordered a 10" Mikey pizza from https://www.bravaspizza.com/ for $16.99. Staff was friendly and efficient. Overall, Old Inn is a good spot to drop into to grab an ice-cold beer without high expectations. read more

This hidden gem of a bar is the perfect Snohomish secret. Everyone there was so friendly and didn't mind our loud valentines darts. They're also pet friendly so we got a lot of adorable visitors while we were there! Will dry be going back. read more

Met up with some friends here last week for Christmas shenanigans and had a really nice time. It's been awhile since I hung out in a true dive bar, and I'd forgotten how much I love them! We got there early to snag the cozy couch nook in the back, and enjoyed incredibly affordable beers and cocktails while shooting some pool and listening to the jukebox belting out faves from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. What put this place over the top for me, though, was how dog-friendly they are. You can basically have your dog off-leash inside the bar (if you're comfortable with that). There's even a doggy gate to prevent any escapes out the front, and a fully fenced cocktail/dog garden in the back. Bonus for the free popcorn and allowing us to bring in our own food. (In fact, that's pretty much the only option for eating here as they do not serve food.) It got a little busy as the evening wore on - recommend getting there early if you want good seats. read more

Part of me wants to give this place a hundred stars and part of me doesn't even want to review it because I want it to stay a magical secret. But, friends, here is my review, because a place this awesome with an owner this generous deserves to be recognized and celebrated. It's very laid back, casual, and you do you boo. It's dog friendly - and they mean it - and the drinks are cold and cheap. There are hilarious old-timey advertisements all over the walls, pool tables, and a beer garden for when the weather is nice. It's divey, homey, and I love it. I really love it. I went with a group of friends, we had a fantastic time, and then my dog got sick. The owner told me "don't worry, we're dog friendly," grabbed a mop, and no harm no foul. That has literally NEVER happened to me or anyone else I've seen at any "dog-friendly" place. Usually, they ask you to leave. Instead, the owner told me not to worry about it, and to sit back and enjoy my beer. They have all sorts of interesting beers, both on tab and in cans/bottles, and a full cocktail bar. It's BYOF, and there's a decent amount of choice in the area. The bartender was friendly, the other dogs were friendly, and the people in there were super easy to be around. It's got to be one of the better bars in the entire state that I've been to, and I would go back there in a second. read more

Horrible, rude service. I asked if the kitchen was still open and got, "We don't serve food. Well, we have pizza by the slice but it's not any good". Then asked for a glass of wine and got, "They're all cheap and not any good". First time in. Thought I'd try it and watch a little bit of the Mariners playoff game. Sat down in the bartender said hi. She was busy doing a couple other things I get it. Two regulars came in after me and sat down and she acknowledged them. She made their drinks and didn't even ask what I wanted. I turned around and walked out. She set the tone for the rest of the day I figured. If you guys are busy enough to where all you have to do is cater to your regulars that's fine. There's plenty of other places to go. I love me a dive bar....ok that's meant with love but truly if you want to hang with the locals this is where you need to go! I was dropping a friend off for her birthday after we had an outing and she convinced me to stay. So glad I did! Drinks are cheap and good (I think my Vodka Soda was only $4?). Best bar in town. They love dogs and its nice to see familiar faces when we go. I love the dart tournaments they throw, We went for New Years and the owner passed around hats and necklaces and thanked people for coming in, which is rare. The bartenders are sweet and we love Loren. Also the drinks are at decent price, makes you want to hang around for another. Anyplace that loves dogs has my business. read more

A classic dive bar. Free pool, colorful locals, strong pours & dog friendly! Stopped by here b/c boyfriend was doing BBQ competition right down the street. So glad we did! The staff was friendly & they had some great specials ($3 craft beers on sundays). The decor was festive & there were a lot of fun little things on the walls. Tucked away behind McDaniels Hardware in Snohomish, this place is pretty great if you want to hit up a dive bar, and not have any spectators around to witness the act. There MIGHT be three people there , on a busy night. That may change soon, since Snohomish just eliminated their police department, whose H.Q. is (was?) located directly across the street...not so good for this bar's business,I'm sure. You may want to park at the library next door and walk over to the bar.. for the time being , anyway. Cold beer sold cheap, nice pool tables, a timeless atmosphere essentially unchanged since the 70s, (except for better TVs) ...everything you could want in an out-of-the-way dive bar, No kitchen , so just bar munchies available , although this is the kind of place where the regulars often set up an informal feeding station with somebody's favorite crockpot recipe simmering . They recently added hard liquor to the mix , for those of you who want something stiffer than beer. I personally feel compelled to drink Rainier in long necked bottles here, most of the time....to keep it "period correct" and all. This is a cool little dive bar off the beaten path. We have been in a couple times to play pool and have enjoyed ourselves both times. Good atmosphere and attentive bartender. I don't even want to give this place one star! Total inside job! Lost my husbands debit card....the bartenders who were still working called the guy the other bartender, who was no longer working, gave the debit card to and said he would be back in 5 minutes to bring it back. The bartender who gave the guy our debit card pulled up with the guy and said the card was at another bar down the street. We followed them to other bar and the bartender from the old inn handed the debit card to my husband. I lived in Snohomish for over 20 years and drove past this place and never stopped in, I finally did last Friday night. This is a cute little red building behind the McDaniels Do it Center and next to the Snohomish Library it is a Vintage Bar that is just plain comfortable, not fancy, no stuck up people, no judging, just a place to come visit or watch the game. They have two pool tables, dart games, ping pong, pull tabs and a couple other games. There are plenty of tables to sit at or you can cozy up to the long bar and visit with the bartender while she is making your drinks, she is really a nice young lady and works her tail off making sure everyone in the place has what they need! They serve cold beer, wine and hard drinks at a fair price and (they just started serving hard liquor too which is nice since I am not a beer drinker). The bar and the restrooms were very clean which is a huge plus in my book! They serve warm popcorn for the salt factor with your beer, they don't serve other foods, but heck there are lots of places to eat in Snohomish before you come for a toddy. Tried this place again. Dawns a great bartender. Loren an obvious regular is an ass and runs people off. He was with two employees tonight which just speaks volumes about the type of people they want here. In fact, it's Stewart's crowd because that's where Loren and the employees were off to. I wish owner would figure out that regulars are running good business out the door. You're on the trail. Go look at trails inn. Minimal issues, no asses running potential new customers off permanently and bigger business without the liqour sales. Too bad too.
