Had I gone solely by the reviews on Yelp, I would have not made an appointment here at Pearle…read moreVision in Sudbury, but I am GLAD that I did decide to go. My parents had been to this location several years ago and had a pleasant experience, so I decided to go based on their recommendation. I half-expected there to be a negative encounter with off-putting staff, but this never happened. The bad reviews don't make sense to me, and I am personally writing this review to help set the record straight. My experience today was very pleasant and rated well above their average of "2.5" stars. Here's how it went: Parking, including handicapped parking, was plentiful. There is easy access to the building. No curbs or steps to navigate. The main door was a bit awkward, but the staff assisted by holding it open. Reception was very kind. I arrived about 5 minutes late, and apologized for this, but the woman there (I don't know her name. She was of Asian descent.) was very polite and she assisted me with the check-in process. From there, I went through the pre-screening eye tests. I was impressed with how advanced the technology has become since my early experience with optometry. It is so much easier. The young man performing the tests was also very kind. The set-up and layout for those tests was a bit awkward, I will say, and should probably be in a separate room, but it was fine. Next, I met with Dr. Curtin. What a gem he is. He was able to zero in on my correct prescription very quickly. No pupil dilation required. He was super efficient, personable, and didn't try to sell me on anything. He gave me a reading prescription, and a distance prescription that will be put on hold if I should decide that I need it in the future. There was no pressure. Next, I met with Katherine to pick out some frames. She was okay. She wasn't as personable as the others, but also not offensive in any way. Some of the other folks that were helping other customers with frames did seem more personable and friendly. The frames they had to select from were very high end. Brand names like Ray Ban, Gucci, Prada, Kate Spade, etc. You get the idea. They were beautiful, but there was not much variation in the selection, IMO. There were many chunky styles. Many cat-eyes. If I had the time and energy, I would have shopped for frames elsewhere to get exactly what I was looking for. I settled on a pair of RayBan plastic frames that were nice. I opted for a scratch-free coating, but didn't add anything special beyond that. No bifocals. No anti-glare, etc. To give you an idea of costs, the frame and lenses (before insurance) were $ 550. The eye exam was covered separately by my insurance. The glasses will be ready to pick-up in about a week. Simple. Never did I encounter anyone who was rude or disrespectful. They had many customers. It is a busy place. Everyone seemed happy. What else can I tell you? Don't believe everything you read. This is my honest review based on my experience today. I DO recommend this location and will be returning the next time I am due for an eye exam.

I walked into this optical place to replace the prescription for the existing frame. The woman who…read moreassisted me was rude and not friendly for a first time customer like me. I was put off by her unfriendly attitude. Nevertheless I was able to place a new prescription order for my glasses. Week later a gentleman gave me a call for the oder pickup. Upon walking into this optical place again, he was extremely friendly, kind and courteous. I would never go in there again for any service. First impression was the last for me.

Carol at L'Optique understood immediately what I was looking for in terms of style, something interesting but not over-the-top. She picked out a great pair of work frames that complemented my face and also picked out very resilient out-and-about frames with little side magnets to hold snap-on sunshades. Carol is an expert at configuring frames and lenses. The work frames have a reading/close-up region toward the bottom and a computer-distance region toward the top. The walking around frames have a reading/close-up region toward the bottom for reading menus and such, and the remaining portions are for distance and driving, etc. The clip-on shades are very easy to use. It's up to me not to lose them ;). The frames took a bit of time and were not inexpensive, but considering that I wear them everyday and need something well-made that would stand up to some abuse, I figure it was well worth it. Carol is great to work with and very attentive. The lenses weren't quite strong enough in the first frames (my eye doctor's prescription was a bit too weak), and she was able to get a second, stronger set without any trouble or additional cost. I'd say L'Optique is a high-end store but even so, it offers a wide price range to probably suit most budgets.

Truth be told, I am french and have been looking for a boutique style "just like back home" optometrist for quite some time now, and when I saw L'Optique boutique showing up in my neighborhood, I was excited to give it a try. The owner is absolutely adorable and knowledgeable. And super patient ;) she has a cool story about each frame and the glasses choice is amazing. I had a really wonderful experience and highly recommend L'Optique Boutique for your future eyewear needs!

We walked into a store that covers the full Target range including clothing, groceries, electronics, household goods, school supplies, and pharmacy, and the breadth of what is available under one roof is the primary reason we make it a regular stop. The store is generally well stocked and the online order pickup and return process works smoothly, which is one of the more reliable features of this location for anyone who shops Target both in person and through the app. The grocery and food section covers enough ground for supplemental shopping even if it is not a full supermarket replacement. Self-checkout availability fluctuates and on busier evenings the only open lanes have sometimes been limited to ten items or fewer with no full service registers staffed, which creates real friction for anyone doing a substantial shop. For a quick trip or an online pickup, it works well. For a full cart of groceries or household restocking, we plan around the checkout limitations or come during off peak hours.

Target in general a classic place to just walk around and browse. It basically has it all - home finds, clothing, toys, groceries, makeup, everyday essentials, the list goes on. I usually go to the Target in Watertown but whenever I'm in the area I'll come here. The two locations are similar: huge, has tons of parking, and items are generally pretty well-stocked.
