He even FaceTimed with me before my move so I could show him everything and explain what I needed. That level of care and preparation really stood out compared to other vendors we had reached out to for pricing quotes. On unpacking day, Julie and Zsophie were absolutely wonderful. They showed up on time, worked quickly, and were incredibly kind and professional. I'm currently pregnant, so I wasn't able to do much myself, and they truly went above and beyond to support me. They listened closely, asked questions when needed, and made sure everything was placed how I would want it. It really took such a load off me both physically and mentally to not have to think where I should place things. They handled all of my belongings with care and even helped me locate specific items when I needed them (ex: a missing key). They unpacked most of my 2,000 sq ft home including a very full closet (yes, I have 3 wedding gowns!). They were efficient, detail-oriented, and left everything clean and beautifully set up. I'm so grateful for their help and would absolutely recommend Valley Organizing to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful team!

I wish I could leave ten stars!…read more I work from home in a very paper-intensive profession, and my office was out of control. I thought I had weeks of work to do to catch up on the backlog. I hired Meghan to come in and help because I've tried several of those popular organize yourself books ("The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up", "Un-f--- Your Habitat", etc.) and they never worked. I just assumed I was predisposed to disorganization. Meghan came over for a consultation and looked it over, assured me things weren't really all that bad, and talked over what would be involved. She said it would take about 5 hours. I was expecting a few days, so I was thrilled. We booked a time for the organizing day, and she arrived on time and ready to go. It was so helpful to have a professional give me tips and tell me where to put things. She listened to how I use my space in order to help me figure out the best places to put things. My home office is amazingly clean and tidy now, and the mountain of paperwork was turned into a molehill. I took 40 lbs of paper to the office store to shred, and my paperwork backlog is now only about 2 inches. I'll finish it in a workday or two. My kitchen is logically arranged now, my closet is tidy, and those random boxes under the bed have been sorted. Everything I own now has a place, and I feel confident that I'll be able to keep things tidy by just returning everything to its place when I'm done with it. Meghan was worth every penny I paid her and more. We spent 5 1/2 hours, and she bought me weeks of time and relieved me of unbelievable amounts of stress. I should have called her sooner!

She was consistently sloppy and disorganized, and spent more time talking than actually working. The most concerning issue was when she asked if she could stay the night at the rental. When my new tenants arrived to move in their belongings, she refused to step out of their way, created even more of a mess, and even yelled at an elderly tenant. Completely unacceptable behavior. After agreeing to issue a partial refund for the work she didn't complete, she stopped communicating altogether, and now the matter has to be resolved in court. I cannot recommend her services to anyone--clients, friends, or family. In my experience, she was incompetent, combative, disorganized, and unprofessional. Save yourself the stress and hire someone else.

Coming Home Has Never Been Easier -- Thanks to Cat!…read more I just returned home after being away on military orders for the past 3 years, and walking into an empty (dirty) house was honestly overwhelming. That's when I found Cat's Cleaning--and I'm so grateful I did. Cat showed up with a can-do attitude and got to work right away. She didn't just clean--she unpacked, helped me set up my spaces, and even offered amazing organizing tips and tricks to make the place functional and comfortable again. After being gone so long, it was more than just a unpacking & cleaning service--it felt like a reset. Her help took a huge weight off my shoulders and genuinely made my transition back home easier, less stressful, and even enjoyable. What absolutely blew me away was how fast she worked. I couldn't believe it--she accomplished in just a few hours what would've taken me days (or weeks, let's be honest). Every task was done with precision, care, and incredible efficiency. It was like watching a one-woman team of professionals handle everything with ease. As someone in the military who moves around a lot, I can honestly say Cat's services have made a huge difference--not just in my home, but in my life. Highly recommend her to anyone who needs more than just a clean space... she helps you feel at home.

Several years ago I hired Marilee Hixon to help me in our home. I am writing now because back then…read moreI wasn't on YELP: Are you Stressed? I was. Within the course of a couple of months, I retired from my job of 32 years, sold two homes, built another home with my brand new husband, opened up a new business, tried to learn too many things at once like QuickBook and moved to a new city. I lived in stress of all types for over a year, trying to learn how to run a business, while learning all the little intricacies of plumbing & contracting. It was ALOT for anyone to try and manage! I took on twice the work as a single working woman who had managed every part of my life well prior to the above. And I was near 60. But I also have multiple sclerosis, and from time to time it can cause me physical and mental stress. I had tried to hire another organizer who wasn't available at the time due to a surgery, and she suggested I hired Marilee. Within three days my house went from chaos to much more calm, and it was done the right way. Let me push that last sentence - DONE IN A PROPER professional MANNER! Her team!? Experienced and awesome!!!! They FLY with confidence. They take control. They look at things like a puzzle, and they already know the different ways to attack almost any job. Who doesn't wanna work in that way, and especially if you have something like ADHD or Executive Dysfunction - they know exactly how to handle you. Carefully. With rules. Do not allow that to stress you out, because I would rather go through that for a couple of days, then to live for weeks, (or months) trying to figure it out myself. If you're on the fence line because professional organizers cost more money, I'm going to tell you a secret... That, in the end you will spend less money, you will have less time invested, you will have people in your house for much fewer hours, and you'll be happier in the end. Pro teams are trained and studied on their topics. They won't allow you to move things around or keep items that don't bring you joy. They will have you sit in a chair, give you a glass of water, insure you don't skip lunch....and ask you questions. "Keep or donate?" They will do what they say they will do, and when they set their schedule, you're in the loop and right there. It'll work within your budget, so if you want something to look at specific way, then show them a picture of what you want, and be prepared to pay for that. I think Marilee knew that I just wanna things neat and easy to find, and she understood to put things in clear bins for me so I could see everything. Everything's to bake cookies was in one or two bins on the top shelf where she knew it could stay because she realized I didn't bake that often. In regards to my cabinets they were already somewhat organized, so she perfected it. And labelled for items went so that my husband would know where to return things to. Pro tip from this former working professional and mindfulness teacher - many years ago I had a girlfriend that was in the family child care of business, and I have never forgotten what she once said to me : "I know you saved some money. Throw some money at the problem and make it go away." I've been saving onto the money for important things like retirement... But here I was not feeling well, one day, and I was outside, fixing my own pool pump. Because I COULD. I still don't regret that, but I have found many other times in my life that hiring a professional was well worth it. If you like things to get done in the best way, possible, the first time, likely for less overall money and stress....then hire a professional who's name and recommendations make their business. If I had hired Marilee's team, the second time, I probably could've left on vacation and returned home and it would've been done to my satisfaction with only a few simple glitches which I could live with. And to be honest, there might've not been any glitches because they would've gone through everything with me before I left. Marilee hired amazing women to work with me, and I was totally satisfied with each! If it's the money that stopping you from hiring a professional organizer, call Marilee and talk to her first before you negate the possibility. If she's not the right professional organizer for you, she'll probably do the same thing the other did for me... She might be able to recommend somebody. And remember, we hire professionals to walk us through a process to get us to the other side... And that can be really worth it ! And if you have executive dysfunction, it's not a joke it can be absolutely miserable and depressing... Work with a professional who can get you to the other side, who will set up your house in the way that it works for you and your brain, and find greater joy in your life.

Just-In Time Moving truly helped me out of an emergency situation…read more I had originally hired another moving company, Not Your Husband Moving, and ended up in a terrible situation where I was billed for more than double the estimated hours for the move into storage and the move was not completed as originally estimated. I needed to get my household goods out of their storage quickly to stop the situation from getting worse. Just-In Time Moving was gracious enough to fit me into their schedule last minute. Their office was communicative, their estimate was thorough and clear, and the final bill matched what they estimated. The crew showed up on time, communicated throughout the day, and was professional, careful, and kind. This was not a simple move. They had to unload my furniture and belongings from storage crates, unwrap items that had been wrapped by the prior mover, take care with everything, rewrap my furniture, load it, transport it, and unload it into my new storage unit. They completed the entire job in 7.5 hours. By comparison, the prior mover had tried to bill me 16.5 hours for the move into storage alone. Just-In Time Moving did a fantastic job, and I am extremely grateful they were willing to help me on short notice. After the experience I had before them, their professionalism, clear communication, and honest billing meant everything. My advice to anyone hiring movers: read all reviews carefully, do not take online ratings at face value, check whether the company is listed with moversaz.org, review BBB ratings, and read how the company responds to 1-star and 2-star reviews. I wish I had done more research before hiring the first company. I am very thankful I found Just-In Time Moving when I did.

I've used Just-In Time Movers twice now and have had great experiences both times. They're…read morereliable, efficient, and clearly know what they're doing. I originally found them when I needed to move a piano and quickly realized that, based on the quotes I was getting, it was almost as expensive to move just the piano as it was to move the whole house. Thankfully they handled it with no problem. Both moves were smooth, the crew worked quickly, and everything was handled with care. Moving is stressful enough, so it's always a relief when the team you hire is organized and professional. Another reason I'm happy to keep giving them my business is that they volunteer their services for a food drive at a nonprofit I'm involved with. Seeing a company show up for the community like that really means a lot. Great service, dependable team, and a company that gives back. Hard to ask for more than that.
