Bought most expensive, "plush" mattress, and itcwas EXPENSIVE. Delivered an awful, cheap-quality hard mattress. Unable to sleep on it.

Not sure if check marks are populated to reflect correctly or not but we want to go on record as rating Service, Selection and Value as HORRIBLE because we were misled. We tested a mattress in this store that we felt was perfect for us. After the mattress was delivered and we started sleeping on it, we noticed that the mattress did not have volume and was extremely hard...like sleeping on rocks!!! It was not the same mattress as we tested in the store!! Corporate refused to issue a refund and offered us another mattress, which we did not want to trust again. We are stuck with a useless $1100 mattress which we cannot sleep on! We feel we were the target of Bait and Switch with a bad mattress. There is no way people could write these glowing reviews if everybody had received a mattress anything like ours! Please RUN don't walk to another company who demonstrates that they truly care about their customers! Hoping race was not a factor!! read more

*WARNING* Rock Hard Bed Ahead We had been looking for a mattress for quite a while and decided to go with the Orthopedic Pillow Top because it seemed like such a great value. My wife prefers a firm mattress and I prefer something a bit softer so this seemed like a good compromise. What was delivered was nothing like what was in the two showrooms we visited. The bed that was delivered is rock hard. It hurts our backs worse than our old wore out mattress did. You can literally feel the innersprings through the thin padding. How can you make a "pillow top" mattress this uncomfortable? In my world this is called bait & switch. I've always stayed away from companies that didn't offer a return policy and I should have held my ground. That alone says a lot about a company. This company does not let you return a mattress. Once they have your money...you are out of luck. They do let you change to a different mattress firmness but you have to pay an additional 25%. I was looking forward to getting a great nights sleep on a new mattress but now I'm just tossing and turning all night and this is with us putting a 3" latex topper on it. My recommendation: avoid this company. What you see is not what you get and they don't offer a return policy. read more

I purchased my mattress December 2019 (before Covid) I also purchased the topper because it ended up being to firm. Prior to my 1 year anniversary I wanted to upgrade to the pillow top (this option is offered to everyone as long as it done in the first year). I went into the store September 2020, the sales person told me they were running behind with inspections but would get back with me to have someone come to my home and confirm that I actually had the mattress that I purchased because it felt so different. I have followed up in October and November, no one has contacted me yet. I think they are nice people when making the sale but have terrible follow-up skills and just out right don't care once they make the sale. I will never purchase from The Original Mattress Factory again. I spent over $1600 on the mattress and topper, and even spent a couple hundred on pillows. read more

I'm writing this as a review of the excellent service that I received at this location of Original Mattress Factory. Our sales person Mr. Jon was professional, very helpful, and admirably efficient on a Saturday handling many customers at the same time. I suggest that Mr Jon's professionalism be held as a standard of service for all sales associates at Original Mattress Factory. The delivery personnel were wonderful. They arrived on time, called ahead to let us know that they would be arriving, were careful of our possessions while removing our old mattress and moving the new mattress in. What really set them apart was their caring when I expressed concern that my two very curious kitties, who were outside, might jump into the back of the truck to have a look around. I asked the gentleman to please make some noise in the back of the truck before they left to make sure that the cats wouldn't be taking a journey to the next customer's house. They gladly jumped up into the truck and banged on the sides to make a racket so that if any cats were in the truck they would run out. Purchasing this new mattress and box springs was a pleasant experience because of this excellent customer service. read more

Shopped all over town for beds. Pushy salesman selling junk. Serta junk every where. Went to original mattress factory. They make mattresses only for their stores. Non of the fifty million versions of a brand made differently for different retailers No pushy salesman. Went in sales person explained the product sync left me alone to figure out what I wanted. I bought a king set frame and head board last year. The delivery people were very polite and professional. This year I needed to buy for another room. Went in looked decided and called back the next day to purchase. Same story courteous staff. Professional delivery staff. Great Transaction. read more
