Friendliest wait staff I've encountered at a chain restaurant in a long time. Food was a hit. I went to see if they could compete with IHOP and it was definitely just as good, however just as far for me to drive! This is a very clean, very fast and very friendly location and the meals were exactly what we needed.

I've eaten here multiple times. Each time I try something different. All the dishes I've had were fresh and delicious. You get a lot of food. Fresh ingredients and the service is usually fast. Today I had the seafood omelet. It's packed with seafood and comes with Hollandaise sauce that goes great with it. I chose the pancakes over toast. Of course I had leftovers. I wouldn't order this particular omelette again, but I did enjoy it. My husband ordered the Mexican burrito and loved it. I highly recommend you try this place . My top recommendation is the Apple pancake.

This place is the best! Not flashy but comforting food. We love to come here for breakfast over the weekend. Service is fast and friendly. An establishment in most towns, and the same here. Make sure you come early in the day or expect a short wait time.

My sister and I ended up here after a morning full of errands. I ended up getting the fresh strawberry waffle and it was to die for! If you get the waffle please get it with the fresh star berries! My sister got an omelette with a side of fresh strawberry pancakes. Everything was delicious. The reason I took a star off was because the bathroom was a little dirty and the one staff members I ran into was rude. However our actual server was super nice and very helpful when ordering.

I visited Cleveland and my friends brought me here Sunday morning. There was a long wait (roughly 45 minutes). Our server promptly greeted us. I ordered the huevos rancheros with apple juice. It was a big portion and the food was pretty good. I will have to check out the pancakes the next time I'm in town.

The buckwheat pancakes are super duper delicious- nutty, toasty, mildly sweet and great even without syrup. The apple pancake came with a delicious apple syrup and butter. It was super flavorful and absolutely gigantic. The portions at this place are huge! The seafood omelet had a sort of hollandaise butter sauce atop and had stuffed inside plenty of imitation crab and shrimp. It was an interesting pairing with eggs and not my particular style. It needed some sort of seasoning- Chesapeake bay maybe? The Dutch baby pancake was the reason I came. It was fantastic and just like I was hoping for- a big eggy custardy sort of heavy duty pancake. Also good without syrup!

Chocolate and Peanut Butter Chip Pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream!

A really fun spot to come with friends and or family! It's perfect for a group of four since they get a bit crowded - but not in a bad way, it's an upbeat and fun ambiance! The pancakes, unsurprisingly, were delicious and super fluffy! I got the home fries with two over easy eggs which also came with my choice of pancake (a three stack - so many pancakes!). I chose peanut butter and chocolate chip pancakes topped with fresh strawberries and house made whipped cream - all delicious and drool worthy. I can't wait to go back!

Large menu with various options. When you come to The Original Pancake House you have to get pancakes one would think. Luckily many of the dishes come with pancakes and its indicated on the menu. So if you just want pancakes you can get that but you can also get omletts or breakfat meat and pancakes for example. I got the eggs, hashbrowns and byttermilk pancakes. I also tried the blueberry pancakes. The pancakes were fluffy and looked good but for being the original pancakes house the flavor was not all that. You want the best pancakes around go to cracker barrel, no competition here I'm sorry to say. Server was nice and food came out quick.

The Original Pancake House...snappy menu I would say.

For brunch, my go to is the biscuits and gravy. The gravy has a good heat to it and the biscuits are flaky and buttery. For lunch, the buddha bowl and chicken & avocado sandwich are both elevated classics. My husband raves about the fish sandwich - and the salad that comes as a side is anything but simple. When you enter, you'll order with the cashier and then find a seat with your number. Typical counter service - but what makes Northstar special is that the interior feels more like fine dining and the food is much much better than your standard fare. Worth a trip for its own merits, the fact that it's located in a nice shopping area is also a draw, especially for a weekend when you want to have a leisurely stroll.

You enter and order at the counter and then get a table. We were not planning on desserts but while ordering our food, they got fresh cookies and we had to order two. It was definitely the best decision of the day. Portions are good here and dishes are well prepared with perfect combination of textures and tastes. I especially loved the sweet potato hash. Frittata was good too. We also had hot chocolate and hot apple cider... Perfect for the cold January morning. Overall we liked this place and highly recommend it.

Our server was great, suggesting items since it was our first time here. We started with the Gem lettuce salad to share. The dressing was delicious and it was a good portion to share as a starter for 3 people. I had the Petite Filet for dinner which was cooked perfectly. The asparagus on the side was very charred. To my surprise there was a Restaurant in a glass atrium and gave me vibes of being back in Orange County, CA or LA. We had reservations at 11:30 am. and arrived at 11:15 am. We were asked to wait. There seemed to be a lot of employees walking around and many tables were open but seemingly still had to wait. So 15 minutes later we were taken to our table. The air conditioning was definitely on point so bring a jacket. Our server warmly welcomed us and wished me well for Father's Day. Shockingly the restaurant didn't do anything special for fathers as a complimentary gesture. The server took our drink orders and waters came within minutes and after that everything went into "SLOW MODE". My daughter's Cesar salad came in about 20 minutes from the order. Our main entrees came out (1) Hour after the salad and my lamb chops and potatoes were warm at best. The flavor for the lamb-chops were wonderful but the potatoes were very salty. I would skip on the green beans as they had no flavor and only topped with kosher salt. My wife enjoyed her breakfast plate and the sausages were HUGE. The pancakes seemed to be the big hit. They were sharply thin and had amazing vanilla flavor on their own and were wonderful without maple syrup. They didn't last long as my daughter devoured my wife's portion. My daughter liked her truffle fries but had some challenges with the Steak Sandwich as her jaws were hurting after eating the first half. The type of roll used is very chewy and unfamiliar as we are originally from Philadelphia. (I know, bad decision) but she had her choice. No sweet treats for us. The ambiance is amazing but I would say that we would return. The food was fine except for my temperature but our issue was predominantly the wait time. Happy Father's Day
