Came on new year day to return something. Nice time to walk around the mall. Not too many people. Many good brands like Tommy, Express and some good snacks stands like pretzels and ice cream. Mall is clean and spacious. Employees in the stores are nice and helpful. Discounts going on in many stores due to holiday season. Good price for many high end brands.

Bergen county's very own outlet mall, can't get any better. Amazing place for discount shopping at places like Burlington, Saks off 5th, Nordstorm rack. Then there are other well known brands who have outlet stores here like Tommy Hilfiger, H&M, Nike, Old Navy, Marshall, Banana Republic, US Polo and few others. There's a huge Sketchers store also. Outside the main building there's also Adidas and Samsung stores. Beyond shopping, very popular place for grocery shopping as one end has a Target and the other end has a Whole Foods. The mall has some good food options like Sarku, and the only Cava in Bergen county. Hagen daaz, Dunkin, Wentzel, boba tea and few other food store available. Parking is almost impossible to get in outside area, better to park in the indoor garage, that always has spots available. The management does a good job of keeping the mall clean and up to standard. Over the years they have done many improvements to make it easier for shoppers to visit the outlet mall.

Bergen Town center was pretty busy when I visited yesterday. I'd refer to this shopping center as a mini outlet complex. I came primarily to visit the Bloomingdale's outlet as I never knew this department store even had an outlet. There were other discount shopping stores sprinkled about (Off Fifth, Marshalls, Nordstrom Rack and Burlington. The main indoor area features your standard American brands such as Gap, Banana Republic, and Old Navy except they are the factory versions. It is also convenient to have a Whole Foods and Target in the same plaza. My only issue with Bergen Town Center is the lack of a food court where one can grab a bite on the go. I noticed a Ruth's Chris opposite the outlet and two other salad type places. The food options are so few, you might be disappointed if hungry. I'll give the place some credit since I did see advertisements for two food establishments that are coming soon, one of which is an Ani Ramen.

A nice selection of department , specialty and upscale stores! Food court offers a variety of fast food options, Eddie V's and Fogo de chao are pretty good. Seasonal decor everywhere and I just enjoy coffee from starbucks sitting in the social garden.

Great choices and almost everything available. Great variety for food ! Love going to this place.. fantastic location . All my fav shops in one place - Nike , adidas , target , Whole Foods , steak house , and other restaurants .. Parking is crazy on weekends and peak hours . Billing is slow in most of the stores. Price wise it's very good . Lots of offers in many stores. Like it overall..

What a great shopping center!!! There was Marshalls, home goods, Kohl's, Burlington, Whole Foods, Nordstrom rack, and more!!! Beautiful shopping mall with multiple stores. Upon arrival I thought it was all separate individual stores I was pleasantly surprised to be able to walk around inside and go into the stores. I'll definitely return! The Marshalls here had a huge selection of plus size clothing which was fantastic.

Haven't been to this outlet mall for years and it has certainly redeemed itself to be one of the nicest malls/outlets in the area. I was sad to see that Century21 is no longer there. It does have other brand names such as Sals Off 5th Ave, Nordstrom Rack, Bloomingdales Outlet, Banana Republic Outlet as well as Marshall, Burlington Coat Factory, Nike outlet, Whole Foods and so on. Ample parking in the area and it does get crowded during the holiday season. It's also mostly indoor shopping although shops are scattered a bit in the area. Pretty decent food choices if you want to take a break and to grab a bit.

    Steph W.

It's a good mall, not too crowded, less foot traffic, plus they have a decent selection of stores, though I think they should add more restaurants, maybe a "Subway" or something, or a "White Castle" that's just my opinion: UPDATE: And the Christmas trees are up!

I hear often that internet is killing in-store sales. Maybe so, but come here on a Saturday. My goodness. I have never seen a hybrid strip/indoor mall like this and definitely have I never seen such a mess of a parking situation. Cars, cars and more cars. People lined up all up and down the aisles looking for and waiting for people to leave. I can't imagine how it must look here during the Holiday season. The mall itself is just that though a mall with stores surround the outside, I didn't notice anything outletesque about it. There was Nike store for example which you don't usually see outside of outlet centers but the only thing unique I notices was the big box stores like Target and Marshalls thrown in with your typical mall stores like Old Navy and H&M with a Whole Foods squeezed in and then restaurants on the outside. I see why this congests things and then I suppose the Bergen county mall closure may effect this area forcing people to come in droves to shop. I personally can't see myself justifying coming here, even if I was a local I might think twice if the crowds are norm for what I saw today.

Because of that, I didn't know there was a Spencers for years (not that I was looking for that store, but it's just interesting that I never knew there was a pretty well known store in a corner for years). The food court is pretty good with a wide selection of items and this one area between the center of the mall and the food court hallway occasionally switched out. Store prices vary and the mall can't really control that, obviously, but there's a good variety of stores with their ranging prices so that you can find your preference. I only know of one bathroom area and while it's pretty big, it also feels hidden and is inconvenient if you need to go from anywhere besides the center of the mall. Also, there's great parking and a bus stop for commuters. There's also other stores located in the same area but not in the mall which is convenient for a variety of reasons.

As I ventured through the entire Mall, in maybe took me 15-20 minutes in a relatively comfortable pace, and it SEEMS 1/2 open businesses, and 1/2 shuttered-closed businesses. I like a quiet mall. I avoid malls on weekends for this reason, but this wasn't just quiet, it was strangely quiet. I've just experienced a mall past it's prime. Odd. I would've loved to see it in it's glory. There were more people in Stew Leanords (probably) then the entire mall put-together. Thank god for that supermarket to choose Paramus Park for its location! Plus parking is super easy in comparison as well because of far fewer patrons. Management also seems to have kept up with the mall's maintenance and decor even with fewer tenants. Perhaps it's because of the sheer size of the mall or perhaps people were busy celebrating Mother's Day elsewhere, but it wasn't as busy or crowded as I would've expected. Although the food court wasn't packed, the wait for Jollibee was insane (probably a 25-35 minute wait). It was worth it though, I hope more malls in the U.S. have Jollibee. After eating, I explored the mall a bit. American Dream has a NHL-reuglate size ice skating rink (entrance is on the first floor, where you can also get the tickets). But what's wilder is the ski and snowboard resort - the first indoor snow resort in North America. I didn't go in but I could feel the chilliness from the condensation on the windows. There's also an NJ Hall of Fame, laser tag, Sesame Street Learn & Play, and Nickelodeon Universe inside. You can enter Nickelodeon Universe (no tickets needed) but you need to buy points to go on the rides. Even if you don't go on the rides, there are plenty of photo ops. I saw Spongebob and Squiward taking photos on a stage. Other cool things about American Dream: A ferris wheel called American Dream that allows you to see the NYC skyline, a Toys "R" Us train that goes around on one floor, and HMart. There is a fancier part of American Dream with high-end stores, too. I didn't come here for shopping though. 1 star - More Nightmare Than Dream…read more (But giving a 3 star since what was actually open was fun.) Took my daughter to American Dream Mall for her birthday weekend, expecting water slides and celebration shakes. What we got was a masterclass in disappointment. The water park was closed for electrical work. Fine -- things happen. So we headed to the shake shop to salvage the birthday with one of their fancy cake-topped frappés. Also closed. At this point the "dream" branding was starting to feel like false advertising. The hotel situation wasn't any better, not that the mall can be blamed for this. But fair warning to others who traveled as far as we did for this magical weekend. Pool closed for the entire weekend -- not for a quick cleaning, but pending state inspection results that could take "days to weeks." Called around to other hotels thinking we'd just move. Same story everywhere. Apparently post-Memorial Day weekend triggers mandatory state testing after high guest volume, and every pool in the area was in limbo. Nobody mentioned this when we booked. Back at the mall, the game room -- where the closed shake shop lives -- lost power entirely. And if that weren't enough, the fire alarm spent a good chunk of the afternoon flashing and blaring "there is a fire in the building, evacuate immediately" on repeat. Not once. Multiple times. So to recap: no water park, no birthday shake, no hotel pool, no game room, and a fire alarm that cried wolf so often we genuinely weren't sure whether to panic or just keep walking. Happy birthday, kid. At least the parking lot was open.
