I give this 5 star review wholeheartedly for a number of reasons:…read more- the training (evaluation and instruction) - the relationship (coaching conversations) - customer centric (while they MUST charge a fee for their membership, I don't feel like I'm just a number or a paycheck to them... They're sincere in serving me) My story: I have prior injuries: severe soft tissue injuries (strain) to my bicep tendons, cervical spine, and lumbar spine. Also lifelong pain in right hip flexor. Scoliosis. Thoracic spine stiffness and pain. And difficulty supporting my own breathing. Cumulatively, I've worked with 5 different physical therapists for a total of 10 months (broken into 2-4 month intervals) for different injuries between 2016 and 2019. None of those experiences really "put me back together." After all of this, I eventually joined Align via their remote coaching membership option. Started in January 2021 and have continued to now, December 2021. When I started, I told my coach "I feel fragile." And I did. I felt weak, imbalanced, had constant pain and felt insecure doing many normal activities, like lifting something overhead to put on top of the fridge. I had pain with walking. And I was only 36. But after years of sedentary jobs, sedentary schooling, and significant injuries at part time jobs during school, my previously athletic self now felt frail and weak. I was devastated. But I had seen the educational material that Align publishes for free on their social media. And something in me knew... If anyone could help me, it was them. So I started. And it has been hard work. I learned quickly that my coach can encourage me and teach me, but ultimately I'm the one who has to do the work. And within several months of following the program and working with my coach, I found I was making more progress than I ever did with the physical therapists. Who are DOCTORS...! I felt stronger and more stable through my whole body than I had in the last 15 years. 15 years! I was hooked by that point. The intrinsic reward of stable joints, feeling enormously more capable, enjoying the aesthetic changes, and also the new found self respect... And the pain was decreasing. Align has been giving me the tools and support I need to build this aspect of my life. They are respectful, honest, encouraging, and ridiculously intelligent. I've been a client for nearly 12 months and hope to continue training with them for years to come. What I'm saying is, if you feel weak or in pain, you should call them. Be ready to work. And yes, if you're doing it remotely, you may need to buy some equipment but so far the recommended equipment has added up to like $120 for me and that is very doable. Uneducated trainers are frankly dangerous and can lead you to injury (happened to me in 2012 at an gym in Washington state... While she was watching!). Don't be fooled by their "less expensive" so called "services.". If you are already in pain or feel unstable in your joints, then what you need is a really intelligent trainer who will help you get better, not expose you to further risk for injuries. Which is why I recommend Align. Sorry this is so long, but I'm a words person...!!! Take it or leave it, this is my experience. - Michelle M

I have been in the pain management business for about 28 years and have worked with most of the doctors in the chico, and Redding area and by far Dr Lipman is the best. He cares about his patients and always does his best to make sure the treatment is right for the patient. He has done several treatments on me with phenomenal results.

They canceled my surgery 4 days before it was scheduled and confirmed and dropped me as a patient…read morebecause I reported their negligence and incompetency. It was my right, and I felt obligated to protect other patients being abused, to report Interventional Pain Solutions to health authorities and file for financial compensation for charges they caused. I stated I would first attempt to get my health insurance company to reimburse me. I just saw Dr. Daniel Bonis the day before some stranger I never heard of called me late in the evening after their hours. She didn't say who she was until I asked then rudely relayed that the owner, Dr. Zachary Lipman, won't see patients who have "threatened them." Apparently making them take accountability for their misconduct and pointing out medical malpractice is "threatening" because they know they are in the wrong over multiple mistakes. I discovered they were about to perform a procedure on the wrong vertebrae and it was the incorrect procedure! I have been a patient with IPS for 3 plus years and had a great relationship with my former PA, Melanie, at the Lincoln office before closing. I got along just fine with all the doctors at the Chico office. It wasn't until I complained to the manager about the behavior of the staff and numerous acts of malpractice by Dr. Omalade Maurice-Diya that there was a problem. The clinic manager, Kristi, apologized for all their misconduct and stated she would talk to Dr. Dina's rude, aggressive assistant because she had heard complaints about her before. I was just trying get reimbursed for the few hundred dollars I am due and my health insurance was most likely paying. How stupid are these people to bring a law suit upon themselves over that and me trying to get treatment they were denying me? What else are they hiding? It's all about to be revealed now, because, I am going to sue for a ton of money since my already delayed appointment was canceled and I have to start all over. They caused me too much stress, pain and wasted too much of my time. A line of integrity and ethics has been crossed. I now have to suffer unnecessary even longer because they are more concerned with saving their own asses. Dr. Bonis and I had a great conversation and he agreed I should have been getting better treatment and a surgery a while ago for the severe new neck injury. He said he would get me in for multiple procedures over the next few weeks and apologized for the multiple mistakes made. His assistant will be called as a witness as he was taking notes. I have a lot of documents as evidence so IPS basically screwed themselves. I also have a witness to all my conversations. My attorney warned me, after one of many ordeals, that they are shady and money greedy, trying to pull off ways to make me a cash cow at my expense. Apparently she was right! The ER doctors I saw, my primary doctor, my psychiatrist, my health insurance case worker, and the authorization department and other pain management patients, all urged me to seek out another doctor's opinion before getting any procedures. Thank God I double checked their work before they cut into me, despite all the attitude I got for wanting to check the suspicious misdiagnosis and incorrect procedure information. Their staff alone is another story. Extremely belittling, aggressive and unprofessional. Dont work in the medical field if you hate people! I'm appalled at their behavior and the countless ways they have harmed me and who knows how many others. They were incompetent on many levels, but causing me additional pain and suffering by denying a procedure they put me through hell to get was the last straw. They made multiple mistakes sending in my authorizations causing weeks of delays. So not, I'm not threatening, I'm promising, you will be sued IPS. Stop taking advantage of sick people for financial gain!

They made me go for a different X-ray every month, gave me an epidural in the wrong place, gauged my insurance for expensive worthless medications that didn't work. This place is a total joke! It should be shut down. I agree with other yelp reviewers that this place is judgmental and they make up BS. They don't want to treat you, they just want to take the insurance $. This place should be investigated for incompetence and fraud. They made my condition worse. So, run as fast as you can from this place!

I just had a very unpleasant experience with Maria regarding my referral from April 22, 2019…read more (Please understand I have been suffering from chronic pain since December of 2018). Maria informs me that "the ball was dropped" regarding me due to an outstanding balance of $25 from October 2017! An outstanding balance I was completely unaware of nor informed of, that I can recently recall. Twenty-five dollars... I was also informed it was "E-mailed" to me, which happens to be the only way your office apparently contacts people, according to Maria. Well, then, it most likely ended up in the Spam folder and is no longer accessible. I do not appreciate speaking to someone who responds in a very blase' way. I am upset because I have gone two months waiting, without a clue. The meloxicam which I had been on since April, which had been helping, I can no longer take. This means my pain is back in full swing and the pain's return is what reminded me of the elusive referral I have been waiting on. We need to resolve this. I apologize for losing my temper yet if "E-mails" are the only way your office contacts people to let them know what is going on perhaps another method should also be used. My Doctor's office ALSO had no clue what was going on and asked me to give your office a call. Let us please resolve this and move forward

But, I ended up having to beg for my medication to be called in every single month. I would call and it still wouldn't have my medications called in to the pharmacy . So, I would call again. Dr. Reeder told me to use the patient portal online because his staff would forget to give him message But I could never get it to work, even after being given a new password on three occssions. Each month after getting my prednisone dosage down I would have to bring it back up to control the pain due to not having my methotrexate. I finally called today for the third time this month (it is the 21st) and am upset and in pain. I asked if every patient has to beg for their medication every month and was told "yes, it is a controlled sunstance" I am done. I don't know how I will deal with this pain but I will do it without being treated like a third rate human. I do not advise anyone who is of lower income to even bother with this office. Sadly it's the only rheumatologist in my area my insurance would cover. So there again is no help for me. But, I refuse to be treated like I'm not worth any effort because I'm not as financially well off as some others. That's exactly what I feel is the issue.
