As a Employee and a patient of IPS Dr Lipman and the rest of the Doctors and employees are some of the best crew I have ever worked with or had the pleasure of being a patient of. I have been in the pain management business for about 28 years and have worked with most of the doctors in the chico, and Redding area and by far Dr Lipman is the best. They canceled my surgery 4 days before it was scheduled and confirmed and dropped me as a patient because I reported their negligence and incompetency. It was my right, and I felt obligated to protect other patients being abused, to report Interventional Pain Solutions to health authorities and file for financial compensation for charges they caused. I stated I would first attempt to get my health insurance company to reimburse me. I just saw Dr. Daniel Bonis the day before some stranger I never heard of called me late in the evening after their hours. She didn't say who she was until I asked then rudely relayed that the owner, Dr. Zachary Lipman, won't see patients who have "threatened them." Apparently making them take accountability for their misconduct and pointing out medical malpractice is "threatening" because they know they are in the wrong over multiple mistakes. I discovered they were about to perform a procedure on the wrong vertebrae and it was the incorrect procedure! I have been a patient with IPS for 3 plus years and had a great relationship with my former PA, Melanie, at the Lincoln office before closing. I got along just fine with all the doctors at the Chico office. It wasn't until I complained to the manager about the behavior of the staff and numerous acts of malpractice by Dr. Omalade Maurice-Diya that there was a problem. The clinic manager, Kristi, apologized for all their misconduct and stated she would talk to Dr. Dina's rude, aggressive assistant because she had heard complaints about her before. I was just trying get reimbursed for the few hundred dollars I am due and my health insurance was most likely paying. How stupid are these people to bring a law suit upon themselves over that and me trying to get treatment they were denying me? What else are they hiding? It's all about to be revealed now, because, I am going to sue for a ton of money since my already delayed appointment was canceled and I have to start all over. They caused me too much stress, pain and wasted too much of my time. A line of integrity and ethics has been crossed. I now have to suffer unnecessary even longer because they are more concerned with saving their own asses. Dr. Bonis and I had a great conversation and he agreed I should have been getting better treatment and a surgery a while ago for the severe new neck injury. He said he would get me in for multiple procedures over the next few weeks and apologized for the multiple mistakes made. His assistant will be called as a witness as he was taking notes. I have a lot of documents as evidence so IPS basically screwed themselves. I also have a witness to all my conversations. My attorney warned me, after one of many ordeals, that they are shady and money greedy, trying to pull off ways to make me a cash cow at my expense. Apparently she was right! The ER doctors I saw, my primary doctor, my psychiatrist, my health insurance case worker, and the authorization department and other pain management patients, all urged me to seek out another doctor's opinion before getting any procedures. Thank God I double checked their work before they cut into me, despite all the attitude I got for wanting to check the suspicious misdiagnosis and incorrect procedure information. Their staff alone is another story. Extremely belittling, aggressive and unprofessional. Dont work in the medical field if you hate people! I'm appalled at their behavior and the countless ways they have harmed me and who knows how many others. They were incompetent on many levels, but causing me additional pain and suffering by denying a procedure they put me through hell to get was the last straw. They made multiple mistakes sending in my authorizations causing weeks of delays. So not, I'm not threatening, I'm promising, you will be sued IPS. Stop taking advantage of sick people for financial gain! read more

I was diagnosed by an orthopedic surgeon with a rotator cuff tear and impingement syndrome, and was referred for physical therapy. After some initial improvement and return to my normal activities, the pain and impingement returned, and these symptoms continued to progress despite weeks of rest followed by several sessions of physical therapy. After consultation with Dr. Lipman, he recommended a PRP injection. This was a game changer! Within days I had reduction in the pain, swelling and inflammation in my shoulder, and was able to start regaining my full range of motion without impingement. Two weeks after the injection, the shoulder has continued to improve, and I am back to weight lifting and most of my physical activities. I highly recommend Dr. Lipman. read more

They should rename this institution to intervention- stay- in pain solutions, because they are the worst medical establishment I've ever had to deal with! For four months I've tried to get a simple knee injection for pain. First they would not call me for the initial visit and that's with my doctors referral! My doctor had to call them to give me a call! I finally get in and they said we have to call your insurance for approval! No call back again until I called them. I finally went into the office, and saw five nurses standing around talking having a great time, like it's a social club instead of a business! Then to top it all, the argumentative woman at the desk says I can get you in... in about a month!! Don't use this place if you want any good service for your pain! read more

As the dysfunction of the COVID pandemic fades into the rear-view mirror, companies, institutions, and private shops such as this one - owned by a team of Doctors - are regaining stability and normalcy. Doctors Lipman, Gasman, and Diya have upgraded the quality of the office operations in Redding significantly in the past year, and the staff has settled in to a (usually) less disrupted routine - which allows more personalized attention and being able to actually trouble-shoot and address unique needs of patients. As someone who drives over 100 miles each way to get to my appointments, I appreciate that, and the much-improved level of communication. Now all we need is for the opioid hysteria, and harassment of doctors who treat chronic pain patients, to fade into the sunset as well! The new CDC guidelines for opioid prescribing should help a bit, but since they were written in large part by a guy who has a HUGE conflict of interest (Roger Chou; google his name and "conflict of interest" to see what's up), they are still pretty slanted, and cannot really undo the harm they caused in their last version. read more

Lack of consideration for patients. 2 months without medication for a lifelong neurologic disorder. 2 months waiting for an appointment. When I get there, they can't see me bc they haven't received my records. How hard would if of been to give me a call prior to taking time off work to drive to the (non)appointment and preventing me from having to wait another 2 months for another (non) appointment??? I find the medical community in Redding CA to be a disgrace. I've been here for 7 months now, and still no primary care or specialty Dr's available. Over 2 months with no medications (HBP, RLS etc..). And from what I can tell these Dr'scould careless that im suffering greatly (I use the term Dr loosely as they are most likely unable to diagnose from their own observations and skill but go by some flow chart written by political lobbiests and insurance bureaucrats with zero medical education). So here I sit with no medications, no Dr, blood pressure through the roof, 2 hrs a night of sleep on a good night and chronic pain excerbated by RLS. I guess my only option is to pay $500-$600 for flight, hotel, and rental car just to go back to CO to see my old Dr. I'm glad I became an engineer instead of a Dr. I actually help people instead of hurting them. The Northern California medical community should be ashamed of themselves. I believe they had to take the hippocratic oath and are failing miserably in keeping it.... So I had been referred to this place back in October. We are now in the middle of January 2024. I had had so many problems just trying to get through to these people over the phone and anytime I did I just got sent to a machine they say to give them 24 to 48 hours get back to you the problem is I had been contacting them repeatedly after 48 hours because I never heard back from them and if I got through to anyone they would just send me to the new patient coordinator, who called me back after leaving multiple messages trying to find out what was going on with my situation as I needed and still need serious help! Emma happen to answer the phone this past Tuesday and said she would call me back by the end of the day however, days have passed. I have tried to get a hold of her multiple times and even left messages again and she has still not gotten back to me! They have extremely poor communication with their clients patients. Whatever you wanna call it. I am not yet a patient but have been referred and should be approved. I need help from what I understand. They should be able to help me but I still don't know what's going on because one person hasn't been doing their job it seems that person is the one who decides if I am approved or denied but after trying so hard to get through just to still have no answer I have to say I don't feel like they are a trustworthy facility! at least this one person the new patient coordinator, Emma seems to lack common communication skills, which makes everything so stressful, confusing and unsettling as if they actually help people or not I cannot say since they have still not gotten back to me! I am so disappointed at this point I had to leave a review it going on Friday and I'm sure I won't hear back from her tomorrow either! read more

I am a Navy veteran that lives in Redding, CA. I was assigned to this pain clinic through VA community care about a year ago. During this time I have had multiple nerve ablation and injection procedures on my lower back as well as medication prescriptions. This has been without a doubt the best medical care I have ever received. Every single member of the staff here has been exceptional and actually listened to me and cared about my pain and well-being. They have helped me come up with a plan of action and have gone through everything step by step. The progression of care that I have received as well as the encouragement and friendly treatment of the staff makes going to my appointments something that I look forward to. Dr. Lipman is great and I trust him to always perform procedures safely and as painlessly as possible. Jared has helped me as well and really taken time to listen to me and come up with a plan of attack for my personal pain issues. The nurses and the ladies in the office are all very friendly and helpful in my experience as well. I highly recommend this place and especially to my fellow vets they will treat you very well and work with the VA to get you the help that you need. read more

All the doctors are great! Dr Lipman has been spot on with his procedures, unfortunately most are temporary. Dr Gasman does my diagnoses, reviews, actually listens to me and formulates the treatment plan. Dr Diya is no slouch either. All three doctors are great. Really am disappointed I've gotton two epidural shots at this company that have both been excruciating and not getting any kind of help or a phone call back from my dr the first time I was told it's basically okay to take well over the recommendated does of ibuprofen that was not working at all and in tears back In the end of last year and then to be told this second steroid shot wouldn't hurt like the first time because I told the follow up dr I didn't want to experience this again and now that I have done it yet again it's the weekend and I'm doubled over in pain with no help what must it take to be taken care of by dr?? The shots help for maby two months I will give them that but seriously this company's drs need to take there patients concerns into more consideration and actually be alittle more caring into finding a solution instead of making them suffer even worse with these shots and I really hope by Monday morning I'm feeling better because I really cannot wait to explain this issue yet again because iam highly upset iam being thrown to the the side as if it didn't matter... read more

Never Ending Chronic Pain is hard to live with. The Doctors here at Interventional Pain Solutions are teaching me why I have this neck, back (Degenerative disc disease with 6 bulging discs and one torn disc) and overall pain (Fibromyalgia and Arthritis), and are showing me a better way to relieve the pain other than taking pills. I am so grateful for the ENTIRE staff, but especially my PA Jared Smith. Dr. Jared goes above and beyond in helping me not only cope with my horrible disease, but is helping me come up with a plan that works for me. He has educated me in understanding the negative effects of how narcotics work. And after years of taking narcotics prescribed by other Doctors, I am taking 3/4 less than what I was before and I actually feel better and have less pain! I now am a much healthier me, so I can live a better life! I have no doubts together, we can reach our goal which is to be completely be off of narcotics without Surgery! I find this practice very busy and able to keep up. I haven't found the appointments to be unfair in time to wait to get an appointment. Further once your appointment time is here, the wait time to see a doctor is minimal. I was a little surprised at "the changing of the guard" meaning expecting to see one doctor but instead saw another doctor until I got used to it. I had to look at it like this, they are all anesthesiologists and able to do the job. It is no different than having a anesthesiologist in the hospital--sometimes it's one and sometimes another. It is what they do. That is...except for Jared Smith, PA whom I find to be amazing to work with. Injections at Court Street Surgery Center were a busy time but effective, really effective. Injections at the office have been good. I have seen Dr. Lipman who I find awesome to interact with, Dr. Gasman who I thought was cranky and he is NOT, Dr Bonis who was very nice and, Dr. Diya who is wonderful and several nurses and aids. Then of course Jared Smith who is awesome. Larry knows his job very well. I have not had any trouble with any doctor, PA or nurse (Especially RN Bryan Thompson.) I would recommend Interventional Pain Solutions to others and their solutions have and are continuing to work for me. And pain meds which I took from 2005 until 2018 are no more for me! read more
