After very minimal use (and no abuse) it developed chips in the formica in more than one location. Additionally a seam allowed water to penetrate and the top has swelled/buckled in a very conspicuous spot. Note this was all after just a couple months of light use. The company was unwilling to offer anything to us- replacement, repair, nor credit for the poor quality workmanship of the product. Needless to say I'd recommend not using Cherry Street for counters!

The owner came out and did the measurements and told me to go in and talk to Michelle about what carpet exactly I wanted. I brought in a sample carpeting I had found from Home Depot and she said all of the manufacturers are the same and she had that carpet. She found it and let me feel it and showed me the back. We placed the order and I paid to have a sample shipped to me. When it came in it was nothing like the quality sample I had brought in. I took it up to her and we argued about how she did a bait and switch. I said I wanted to cancel the order since it was not the product we had agreed to. The owner's wife (I think) called me and defended her rude staff. We ended up having to have our credit card company dispute the charge to get our money back. Come to find out, they never should have even agreed to do the carpeting because our bamboo was floating floors (as the owner saw when he came out), and any reputable carpeting company would explain that putting carpeting over floating floors will result in wrinkled carpets due to the shifting. So glad they ended up sucking from the start to save us $7,000 and a headache down the road.

Then this guy showed up the very next day and fixed it for about a third of the price. Not only did he get the job done quickly and do great work, he was genuinely one of the most interesting people I've met--had us in discussion about UFOs while he worked. Even brought his wife along, and they were both just super personable and easy to be around. Fast, affordable, and actually enjoyable to have in your home--which is not something you say about most repair jobs. Highly recommend.
