The owner was dismissive and unprofessional and refused to remake the cake, offer a partial refund, or even provide store credit. There was no attempt to make things right for a clear mistake on their end. If you can't match a requested design or colors, that should be communicated before making the cake -- not after. I would not recommend this bakery based on the lack of communication, poor customer service, and refusal to take accountability. Requested cake: muted, earthy tones (soft sage green, tan, cream, and brown). Delivered cake: bright neon/lime green, which completely changes the look and theme. Requested cake: natural, rustic, neutral, and cohesive. Delivered cake: harsh, high-contrast, cartoonish due to the bright green frosting.

I worked in an Italian bakery in NYC for a few years and have never tasted an icing that was THIS sweet. On top of everything else, the cake was supposed to be lemon flavored. I'm assuming they "baste" their cakes either a lemon flavoring because the only area that had any lemon flavoring was the immediately part touching the buttercream that I threw away after the first bite. Overall, I am beyond thankful that my husband wanted to gift me a beautiful and delicious cake, even remembering that I have intolerances to buttercream and my love for lemons, unfortunately, Miss Muff'n did not deliver a good product.
