My kids loved the chocolate chip cookies and they commented on the generous amount of chocolate chips! They raved about how good these were. The oatmeal cookie sandwich had shredded coconut it in, which wasn't expected nor good. The mud brownie was nothing but sugar, I could barely taste the chocolate over the sugar. The chocolate chip cookie sandwich was also just too sweet. The verdict is still out on the cupcakes since I bought those for someone else. I did like the portion sizes as most of their items are small, so we didn't feel bad over getting several different things to sample. I received a delightful surprise from a sister-in-law; she sneakily asked what kind of cakes my mom baked as a kid, and what was my favorite? Emphatically I mentioned my mom's bundt Banana Nut cake! So what arrived in my birthday mix of cupcakes! The one and-only Memphis Cream flavor! I learned of this awesome bakery shortly before leaving the mid-South! The morning of my birthday she picked up a dozen of the Best-Of flavors for me to share and sample! Hands down, the Memphis Cream is my favorite; the intermingling of banana, chocolate and cream cheese, with a hint of peanut butter and lavishly drizzled with chocolate ganache? I'm tempted to pivot and drive back just to pick up a bunch of cupcakes or even the full-on cake version! As you can see in my picture attached, there are other flavors and I did get to share all of them, as they are quite rich and decadent. Ordered a customized cake for my baby girl's first birthday and I provided the reference image to Frost team. When I saw the charges- $150 for cake and $140 for customization I really thought Frost will come closer to my reference image and I paid the amount with out a doubt. To my surprise they used very dark and crazy bright colors instead of lighter ones that have on the reference image. Agree that Frost makes great cakes but, it has not met my expectations. Checking the flowers they made on the cake when compared to the reference image I immediately realized some intern successfully completed the practice. Common people! I am sorry Frost team- giving one star as the cake tastes good. But, for first birthday and paying that much $ for customization I really expected you will match the reference image or at least try to come closer. But, you missed by a mile! Here is the comparison of the images ( I asked no need to do hanging butterflies and you listened to me and that's it). I should have known customization is just a name sake thing, its the customer own itching to spend more money and the seller fancy way to charge more $ from the customer. If you are doing things on your own in the end just inform customers when taking an order that the final output will not match your expectations- do you still want to place an order! The cookies however are the highlight of this location in my opinion. I tried both the chocolate chip sandwich (mouthwatering), but their #1 seller, the ooey gooey, is the showstopper. An incredibly moist and scrumptious Chocolate cake! I don't live in Memphis and I found this bakery on Williams and Sonoma. I wanted to order a special cake and decided to give this bakery a try. It is everything it claims and more. It is so moist and yummy. What I really like is that they don't overdo the frosting. The layers inside the cake are thin and still generous on the outside of the cake but not overwhelming. So many cakes online and in bakeries overdo the frosting and the ratio of frosting to cake is out of balance for me. This scrumptious cake is like milk chocolate, not too strong. Like a 5 out of 10 if dark chocolate was a 10 in rich flavor. But this cake is a 10 out of 10! For presentation, taste, moistness and texture! I enjoyed it so much I ordered two for gifts at Christmas. The next cake I'm going to try for myself will be German chocolate and red velvet. I bought a cheesecake for my wife's birthday. After eating 4 slices, we found a long hair in one of the slices. We contacted the store and spoke with the manager. We told him, we had eaten a little less than half of the cheesecake before we found the hair. He said for us to come in with a picture and or the hair still in the cake and he would give us a full refund. Due to the weather, we were having in this area, he said, for us to come in once the roads were safe to travel, which was five days after speaking with him on the phone. When we were finally able to make it back to the store, the woman running the store refused to give us a full refund. She made up multiple excuses to not give us a full refund. Being that almost half the cheesecake was eaten, even after we told her that we had told the manager that on the front end, and the other excuse was that it took us more than several days to bring the cake back, even though she was very aware of the weather that we had been having, which kept us from getting to the store. Long story short, she only refunded us back half of the cost. This was a $40 cheesecake, and she is willing to lose several customers by not refunding us the full amount. I guess these managers don't understand that by not doing the right thing, can cost them money in the long run. So I'm assuming it's more important for this lady to not refund us the other $20 and take the risk of losing three, four, etc. customers which, in essence is causing her way more than $20.00. P.S. The woman did offer us a store credit, but we reminded her that the manager promised us a full refund, because we did not want to purchase anything else from that store after what we went through. read more

Plus I have to agree with my friend Sam as I became happy the moment I walked into the store. As for customer service, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Today was a special day as it is Elvis's birthday and they had their Memphis Cream Cupcake ( banana cake with peanut butter cream cheese frosting topped with chocolate ganache) on sale for $1.08. So of course I ordered one of those along with their delicious chocolate chip & vanilla sandwich cookies. Thought I'd give them another try. I ordered a bridal shower cake, and I even sent them a picture (second picture) of what I wanted. White cake with gold dots and I asked for the trim to be gold too. My first time trying Frost was at this new location. It was very clean, spacious and an overall nice place! There's a couple of tables if you want to stay and eat there. All the baked goods look so amazing as you enter. It's so hard to choose! During our first trip we decided to try the cake. We got strawberry and chocolate. They were both truly amazing! The slices are very big! The cake is the right amount of sweet and moist. They add the right amount of frosting unlike a lot of places which add TOO much.
