They have created a safe and engaging play space for families with littles where EVERY detail has been thought through for parents and kids alike. We recently had our son's 2nd birthday there and they were certainly the "hostess with the mostest". They went above and beyond their outlined packaging to ensure he felt special and to make sure everything ran flawlessly. From help setting up, thoughtful details (like a themed welcome sign and birthday coloring pages with his name) to facilitating transitions with story times and a bubble bye-bye. All of our guests were raving about it afterwards, but most importantly, we were blown away with how stress-free and special it was. I can't recommend them enough, for a playful morning or for your next special event!

The areas were semi-contained and the staff were constantly going behind the kids trying to clean up to keep the toys in the right places. Although we went for a specific event, open play was available and my kids had a good time. Their website indicates that this space is appropriate for ages 0-6. I didn't see much for babies that weren't yet crawling and I think that kids over five may bore quickly. The place was clean. I liked that they required everyone to remove their shoes before entering. I did see quite a bit of hair on the floor and given that I had a crawling baby, I was hoping to catch someone sweeping as the tidied up the play areas. My husband got a coffee from the cute cafe, which he enjoyed, and my daughter got one of the large cookies. It was nice to see that they allow the cafe items to be taken into the play space. They even delivered the drinks to customers in there.

Our hostess Amy along with To The Moon Party Designs really decorated the space very festively. There was an adorable backdrop where we could take selfies which was so fun. The instructors rotate frequently, which makes it harder to track individual progress, but on the plus side, it means my son gets to learn from different coaching styles. The staff is on the younger side, but they bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm, which keeps the kids engaged. One thing I really like is how they change up the course and layout every week and focus on different themes to keep things fresh and exciting. Overall, it's been a great experience, and my son always looks forward to going. A little more consistency with coaching would be nice, but if your kid is into parkour, this is a great place to train and have fun! They also offer a paid trial class and fee for open gym if you're interested in checking it out. I recommend this convention center for either small or large scale events as the staffing here can assist in both in an effective and professional manner. 5 stars!

(Upside: stunning for outdoor photos, Downside: BYO Sound equipment - which can be disastrous) The paved patio space was versatile, easily arranged with high top tables, a bar at the end, two self-serve appetizers tables, and a reception table for guest sign in/well wishes. The couple arranged for a beautiful variety of meats and cheeses plus nicely sized cocktail shrimp, and the only thing I had a qualm with was too many shrimp, not enough people eating them - and I hate waste so I ate too many. The floral decor was elegant, simple and understated, with very good quality flowers, which you just don't get everywhere - these people cared! The event space itself is large, vaulted ceiling, smooth floor, very arrangeable for your event needs. Accommodated well over 150 people, with a robust full service bar in the back as well as a tea and coffee station. Excellent use of space, beautifully appointed tables, and attended by highly organized staff. Upsides: versatile spaces, elegant presentation, professional staff, quality food and decor, enchanting views and very photogenic. Plenty of parking on scattered rock (no mud, but also don't wear stilettos) Downsides: BYO Audio as far as I could tell, or the couple didn't pay for it and that was a Mistake. The main event hall didn't display any dancing lighting or colorful dj style experience for the end of the night, which sadly discouraged almost all dancing. And - worst - only one toilet for women, one toilet for men. Yes even if you have 150 people, just 2 whole toilets.

We were told that we would lose our cash deposit, and would not be eligible for a credit for another stay. My husband is the kindest, most respectful person and asked again for a break on our cash deposit. They wouldn't budge, and offered nothing to encourage us to come back. We are very sad as we loved the place, but don't understand how people can be so inflexible. As parents, they of all people should know that one's children have to come first. If you are a future bride considering Deer Creek Country Club for your wedding, please do thorough research and complete your food tasting as early as possible. I booked Deer Creek Country Club nearly two years in advance for a wedding of approximately 100 guests. The venue is visually appealing, and the lower cost for the ceremony and reception initially made it seem like a great option. However, I ultimately had to cancel my event due to serious concerns regarding catering/food quality, customer service, and the refund process. Because I was planning my wedding from North Carolina, I was unable to complete my food tasting until much later in the process. The appetizers at the tasting were enjoyable; however, the entrées were extremely disappointing to say the least . I selected the chicken and flank steak with potatoes. The chicken was very dry and bland, and the steak was so overcooked it was difficult to chew. Knowing that this was a country club, My expectations were not high ...I simply wanted food that was reasonably enjoyable and edible for my guests but the quality fell far below that standard. After the tasting, I reached out to the Events Director, Kathy, to express my concerns and asked whether I could change the entrée selections. She agreed to have me come in and try a different entree but At that point, her tone noticeably shifted and I began having second thoughts about keeping the venue. I also inquired about bringing in outside catering, despite knowing the contract restricts this option. I was informed that I would be charged close to $5,000 just to allow outside catering in addition to the cost of the new caterer. Charging thousands of dollars because a bride is dissatisfied with the venue's food felt excessive and exploitative, especially given the emotional and financial stress involved in wedding planning. Due to these majorconcerns, I decided to cancel my event. While I understood that the security deposit was non-refundable, I was told the remaining balance would be refunded within 14 days. Unfortunately, the refund process was handled very poorly. Fourteen days passed with no refund and no communication from Deer Creek. I had to reach out myself to request an update. I was told there was an issue with my bank (which was confusing, as my bank had no problem processing the original payments). No one from Deer Creek proactively contacted me to explain the delay or resolve the issue. Over the next several days, I had to follow up multiple times for updates. One message went unanswered, and another resulted in being told that there was still no update from accounting. Ultimately, 21 days after cancellation, I was informed that a paper check had been delivered to the clubhouse instead of being mailed to my address as I had requested. I then had to take time out of my day to drive across town to retrieve it. When I arrived to pick up the check, I was told it would be provided by two associates. Neither of those individuals (Or Kathy) came downstairs to greet me, acknowledge the situation, or offer an apology. Instead, a server was sent downstairs to hand me the check. The server was kind, the most positive interaction I had since cancelling my event. Having funds held beyond the promised refund timeline while trying to manage other wedding-related expenses was extremely frustrating and easily preventable on Deercreeks end. While Deer Creek Country Club may appear attractive and affordable on the surface, my experience shed light on significant issues with food quality, flexibility, communication, and professionalism. If the quality of the food you are serving your guests matters to you or if you value transparency and accountability, I strongly recommend doing extensive research before committing to this venue.

The staff knew my name on the first day and the ladies group welcomed me as though I had been playing there forever. I felt instantly like a family member. The course is being well groomed and it is challenging but fair for both men and women. Heritage Golf owns Deercreek and I must say they are a huge improvement over other management companies. Best move I have made in many years.

The owner renovated the inside so that it's got modern amenities and sleeps six people comfortably. The first time we visited the place, it was like an awakening. It was the PERFECT place for my husband and I to get have our wedding. Of course, we had 85 guests, so the ceremony had to be elsewhere, but this was perfect for the reception. It was the perfect size for everyone to move around freely and still have a small dance floor. Also the price is crazy good. You will NOT find a more reasonable deal in town. Bring in your own vendors and you can create a fabulous wedding on a modest budget. I'm not just saying that because I am the proud bride. I'm saying it because it's a recession and fabulous doesn't normally come cheap. And I don't throw the word FABULOUS around breezily. I'm deadly serious. Anyway, you get the place in all it's charm for three days and two nights. Then you can rent it for an extra day for a good price. And really, you just have to get rid of your trash because they clean and do laundry for you. How is that not perfect? Go there because it made my very special day amazing.

When originally searching for a wedding venue we had a few must-haves, which included a location with historical character, in driving distance from Orlando, and located in a town where out-of-state visitors could enjoy exploring. And so we focused in on St. Augustine. I had a good gut instinct about the Sanchez House from the moment I discovered them online, and I must shamelessly admit that I stalked the websites of every couple who had their wedding at the Sanchez House. We quickly booked a visit to the Sanchez House, because they are only able to hold 12 weddings a year due to being zoned in a residential area. We met with the owner, Blake, who shared with us the history of the home, gave tips from other weddings held on the premise, and shared some of his favorite vendors. When we experienced the venue in person, we fell even more in love with the charm that was evident around every corner of the house! The SH offers a brick courtyard, artificial turf front lawn, large gathering room, dining room, kitchen, office, two bedrooms, small one-car garage, and an attic. Not only can you hold your wedding events at the house, but you are able to stay there, as well. This allowed us and our bridal party, 6 in total, to stay at the house. So convenient! After booking the Sanchez House, we decided to extend our celebration into an entire weekend. Our events spanned from 50 to 90 guests, and SH accommodates them comfortably. The house is in an excellent location by the bay and walking distance to historic St. George Street. At the SH, we were able to select our own vendors. We held our ceremony in the courtyard which transformed to the dance floor. The front lawn was donned with a heated tent and tables on the coldest Florida winter day. It even snowed lightly! Guests had the chance to mingle throughout the house in the dining room, gathering room, and balcony. I would note that the parking around the SH can be challenging, but we gave plenty of parking options for guests through our wedding website and social media, and suggested our guests to stay at one of the nearby hotels or bed & breakfasts. I highly recommend the Sanchez House for any couple looking for an intimate St. Augustine venue!
