Cristina has been my barber since day one, and she consistently delivers an amazing cut every single time. She's incredibly sweet, great to talk to, and always very accommodating -- truly someone who makes the whole experience feel comfortable and personalized. The shop recently celebrated their 10th anniversary, and it's easy to see why they've been thriving for so long. The whole team is always friendly, welcoming, and on top of things. Even when the place is busy (which is often!), it's always clean and well-run. I love that they offer complimentary water, their service prices are very reasonable, and they even have some cute merch available. One of my favorite conveniences is that you can book appointments through the Vagaro app, which makes scheduling super easy and flexible with my own calendar. If you're looking for a reliable barbershop that will keep you looking fresh, I highly recommend checking out Mr. Barber. They've earned a loyal customer in me!

Today I tried to go to another Yorba Linda barber shop but they must be great because there were 4-5 stylists and I was told I needed to make an appointment at least a day in advance. A haircut there would be $25 plus tip. My hair is easy to cut and I'm not that particular. So there you go. I had gone to this barber shop years ago before I found Frank (I'm not sure it was called the same name). I remember them and was on my way east anyway so I stopped in. I was welcomed by a pleasant man and woman. They were fairly meticulous, which I think is a good thing, and so I waited a little while for them to finish their respective customers. My luck of the draw was the woman. She was nice but focused on the cutting. I'm not that in to conversation during my haircuts so this suited me fine. She did a great job of cutting my hair, with the added touch of using warm shaving cream to clean me up with a straight razor, which I kind of liked. She was also detail oriented, going back 3 or 4 times with the scissors to get it just right. I appreciated that. About $5 more than my regular barber(unless you count my lovely bride) at $20, though with added perks that make it worthwhile. If Frank can't continue cutting hair, I just may be back.
