I've known Eddie since high school!! So awesome to be able to support such a great guy. Not to mention it's a great location for us and they give the best cuts! We went to Robert today and he did a scissor cut for my teenage son. My son has never had a good haircut (lots of cowlicks and thick hair, and a lot of barbers don't know how to deal with it) and I think we finally found someone that can execute a perfect cut for my son! Thanks guys!

He's also made several recommendations over the course of him cutting my hair, that have made my haircut look cleaner and have made the cut last a longer period of time. The shop has an appointment system which you can normally access via his Square site, which makes planning out the haircut easier. I'm usually in and out within 45 minutes and rarely ever wait to start. The shop does an awesome job moving from one customer to the next and moving people along. The shop accepts walk-ins but I normally make appointments to save me time. I have been getting my haircut from Eddy for years. His practice and work ethic is shown with every cut he does. He can be trusted with a great haircut every time you go into the shop.

If you want a fresh cut , I highly recommend this shop! The owner Eddie knows his stuff.

I came in waited no longer then 5 minutes and was getting a haircut. In a economy where you hear $50 for a cut they charged half! Place was out of this world beautiful! It has a great view of a park! The barbers are very welcoming. The place is sanitary with the right equipment to dispose of sharp razors. Amazing Samsung tv to watch sports, news, or whatever you please. Eddie has been my barber for 8 + years. I've been following him from shop to shop and now I'm glad he finally got his own place. Amazing barber, pays attention to detail and takes him time with cuts. Been going to Ed for at least 10 years- followed him from his old shop to his own place parkside. He respects appointment times and gets you in and out on a schedule. You always get what you ask for. His cuts are all hits and no misses. Great dude- takes pride in his work and makes you look like a new man- so much so that after my last cut where I had gone in a little shaggy and got a cut and a beard clean up- my face recognition on the iPhone didn't recognize me with the fresh look. Results don't lie Ed is as good as it gets read more

I went into Parkside Barber shop 2 weeks ago on the way to a wedding. I needed a clean bread trim ASAP.. we are from out of town, so during our drive to Fullerton we started looking online to find a high quality barber shop. We took a chance with Parkside and ended up winning big! I was treated well by everyone there (staff and client/s). They knew I was in a rush, so the client that was about to get his haircut that he had an appoint for already was generous enough to let me go first. My barber was amazing too! He gave me a fresh & proportional beard cut. Not to mention he was easy going and funny. Plus he gave me some pro tips for cutting my beard at home and the best clippers to do it with. Maestro is a top of the line barber. I will return to this barber shop in the future when we are back in the area. Oh yeah and he fixed my square line up on the back of my neck that another barber didn't cut right. Thank you guys for your generosity. 10/10 read more

They use Square so credit cards are accepted. [Appointment]: I was able to schedule a same-day appointment through their website (vagaro.com), but customers are required to create an account. I received a text message confirmation and the staff asked if I had an appointment upon arrival. [Process]: The shop had a TV playing a sports game during my haircut. I had Anita and she was both friendly and efficient. I requested a low taper fade and showed her a reference photo on my phone. She completed the cut in less than 20 minutes and honestly I was pleased with the result. However, I later noticed the price listing on the wall which mentioned that the haircut includes a complimentary hair wash ... upon request. I brought in a photo for inspiration and Emily recreated it beautifully -- I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. I also want to mention that the reason I had to wait longer was because Emily was finishing up another client before me that ended up taking about two hours total. While I was there, I unfortunately witnessed that client leave in a way that seemed like Emily was still trying to collect payment for the work she had just done. I could see the disappointment on her face, and it really stuck with me. As someone who works in healthcare, I know how it feels when people overlook the effort and care that goes into the work we do. I just wanted to send some good karma her way for the hard work she clearly puts into her craft. Despite that situation, Emily stayed completely professional, finished my nails beautifully, and went above and beyond by staying late. That kind of dedication deserves recognition.
