Everything ranging from handpainted trinkets to entire signs dedicated to all the stores I've known and loved for the last 20 years, down to the most delicate bottles of sand and shells. Unfortunately, I had to take a plane to come here, so buying anything larger was off the table-- I do so wish they had an online store!-- but the small items I bought were both adorable and incredibly well priced. On top of that, I was greeted as soon as I entered, and the easygoing conversation I shared with the cashier while checking out brought the entire shopping experience to a perfect end. I hope this shop stays for many more years to come, because I want to stop by again next year with a bigger suitcase!

He was then told to leave the store and not return. After telling the one kid to leave this man kept trying to prove the little boy wrong over and over even though many witnesses saw he didn't harm the toy. One of the adults also mentioned there was a wall of children that were permanently banned from the store from similar situations. This kind of behavior should not be tolerated. Having a wall of kids pictures is completely inappropriate and unreasonable. I do not recommend this store for anyone who does not wish to be met with this much disrespect. I hope this attitude and customer service is fixed.

Yes, it was made out of felt-like material and had an over-the-top band of sparkles on it, but it was perfect! And the price was great. They can really rip you off at these types of places, and I actually felt like I got a good deal. My friend and I also scoped out the jewelry section and were impressed. Some of it was a little gaudy for my tastes, but they actually had some decent finds (obviously nothing real, but hey, still looks nice). And all jewelry, including watches, was $10. So cheap! I ended up buying a great little watch that was silver and black and pretty stylish. I didn't look too closely at the wine selection, but that looked pretty decent, too. Overall, I was pretty impressed with this gift shop!

The Victorian house is beautifully adorned with dainty tea sets and table settings where I imagine Victorian women in corset dresses once sat and sipped tea, brimming with gossip. I have no idea if they ever did but the setting is perfect for this.... We came here for tea and scones and we loved everything about it. We ordered 2 teapots for the 4 of us. The tea is made with loose leaves and are very fragrant. The "Buckingham Palace", made with earl grey and hints of jasmine was my favorite. It is fragrant and the tea flavor really comes through. The "Cranberry Apples" is made with roseships and hibiscus petals. The cranberry flavor dominates, giving it a fruity, tangy flavor. The scones...deliciously soft and moist inside with the perfect crisp brown crunch on top, is exactly how I love my scones...and with lemon curd and clotted cream! Lizzie gave us an interesting history chat on the house and the 2 surrounding houses. I loved learning about the house and the story behind some of the pieces. The teapots, tea cups, paintings displayed throughout the house are all for sale. We ended up buying several teapots and teacups! There is also afternoon tea available if you reserve 24 hours in advance. If you're in the area on a Friday or Saturday afternoon, check it out!
