The outside of the building looks plain and has a warehouse feeling about it and the inside is industrial looking. BUT, inside is decorated well with pictures of art (see my attached photos). There is one large room where the fitness event that I attended was located. There might be smaller rooms inside too but I didn't look out for them. Bathrooms are located inside as well. The fitness event I attended was awesome. I know the owner of the Beauty Boost so I got a free ticket to attend since I'm an unofficial ambassador. There were 3 classes that lasted for 20 mins each. I enjoyed the high intensity cardio/strength class and the yoga class. I didn't stay for the last class since I wanted to head to church. At the event, there were vendors stationed in the lobby. They handed out information about their business. I loved trying samples of protein drinks and little protein bites. Ambiance: The space is huge - over 11,000 square feet of open space. There are remnants of Tenk Machine & Tool outside - a little mural. There is one ballrooms and separate rooms to the back of the event space. The vibes are industrial sophistication - gorgeous exposed brick walls, wood details, and abundant natural lighting. I can absolutely envision a wedding here with juxtaposition of delicate and rough. I love exposed brick walls, so for me the venue was just perfect. It was also just right for the Cleveland Vintage Market. It fit in plenty of vendors and attendees with still sufficient room to roam. Marigold Catering: There were sandwiches and cinnamon rolls for sale during the event offered by Marigold. I did not try either. I really enjoyed Marigold catered food at other events I've historically attended at other venues around the city. Service: I interacted with the security staff at this venue. They were so friendly and great at directing the foot traffic. Parking: Parking is available at a surface lot next door owned by Marigold. If you're up for a show walk, Nautica Pavilion is also a good parking choice. Ubering to this destination is pretty easy, GPS shows an accurate location. The mayor of Cleveland often hosts breakfast and lunch meetings or gatherings at the Union Club. Private events and weddings are held here and there is even a hotel inside for visitors to stay. I've been attending events at the Union Club for over a year now and a half now (since Sept. 2024). I attend these events through the CCWA speaker events. Many great speakers have come to the Union Club to speak on global topics. The dinner served at the private speaker events that I've attended is always delicious. Normally there is a starting dish such as a salad, then a main course such as salmon, beef, or steak along with a side, and the meal ends with a dessert. The building is old but it has been well kept over the years. It does get cold inside sometimes so perhaps the old nature of the building is an issue with heating but I am not 100% sure. The chandeliers in some of the rooms are beautiful with intricate details. The great reading room is quiet and serene with plenty of comfortable seating. The building has plenty of character - exposed brick and wood details, twinkling lights, and panoramic views of the city (looks amazing during the day and night). It's very industrial chic. It also has lots of space (68,000 square feet to be exact). It has a rooftop! I mainly visited the fourth floor for social occasions. I also visited the first floor businesses (very spacious suites). I found all to be expansive and capable of fitting many guests. Every event I've visited in this space was capable of housing many vendors and leaving sufficient space for dancing and interaction. Events I've attended keep being hosted in this space making me think it works well and are a pleasant experience. There are multiple elevators available in the building. One of them was not functional during my latest visit, but guests were easily redirected to the other one. This is one of a few event places in the city with spacious parking lot. It's huge, easy to navigate, and attached to the building. I would highly recommend this venue. The industrial CLE vibes, character, and the views are unmatched. It's a modern space yet with so much history!

The space was well air conditioned inside and I felt comfortable during my whole visit. According to an article on Cleveland.com website, "The 10,000 square-foot building has a long history; it was originally a furniture showroom in the early 1900s, and it later became a banquet space and cultural center for Gordon Square's Vietnamese community. Holland and fellow business partners Kyle Lawrence, John Lawrence and K.C. Stitak led the vision for Gordon Green, and worked to maintain historic aspects of the property like its original hardwood floors and tin ceilings, according to a press release."
