That's what this place is. Kansas has lots of land and this land is perfectly Suited for a Sporting Clay Park. You have the choice to do trap and skeet or walk they 1.3 Mile Trail to shoot Sporting Clays. We opted for the latter as this was a day after Thanksgiving and I was extra super fat. They use a key card type system that they pre-program the RFID Card and as you go around to the different stations we opted for 200 Clay's but they give you 235 to account for breakage and flinging out some Clays that you want to see where they go. It looks like you can probably bring your own golf cart and do that but the walk actually did me a lot of good. Just like golf there are Reds and blues the reds are harder the blues are easier theoretically but we had a great time blasting neon colored clay discs. I brought just a hundred rounds but I had to go get another box cuz I wanted to shoot a little bit more. They have guys on buggies that will come around and pick you up and take you back to get the Mo if you run out or maybe get something to drink which I did. And of course they have a beautiful black lab there to give lots of love and pets 2. Also they are more than willing to be visible as they frequently drive around to make sure everything is okay overall this is a great place and I wish I could replicate what they did here in my hometown.

The forest as many hedge apple trees, cedars, hackberries. It's not bad for the middle of Kansas, but it's nowhere near the best forest in the Kansas City area. There were brand new, nice pavilions for group gatherings and there was a play area for children that seemed pretty nice. Although it's south of Edgerton it was a relatively quick drive from Olathe.

There's also a walking trail surrounding the park which people were using. And there was also another picnic table area right next to the playground. I think the play equipment was just OK so I probably would not go back. But I thought the garden was a nice touch, especially for adults who might want to read a book or enjoy it.

There are other spaces, both public and private, for pickleball in JoCo, but for outdoor play where you can almost always get on the court immediately, Two Trails is a winner. Safe space for littles with play equipment and soft landings plus seating for the grown-ups to watch over the playtime. Throw in shared facilities for the school district, such as ball fields, and Two Trails is one of Olathe's best spots to get outside.

They have an updated nice playground with soft footing underground. There is tennis courts as well and a walking area that is paved. The negative for me was that I didn't realize it was backed up to an elementary school. So when I brought my 19 month old grandson, all of a sudden the school day was over and a flood of children came to the park. I expect that this is probably a daily experience around that time of 3:15 PM. So it was a little bit overwhelming with so many kids flooding the playground and the grassy areas. That last one being of utmost importance for us weekday desk-jockey types. Yes, by that I mean pale. Okay, I said it. There's plenty of parking, good shower rooms with provided soap, plenty of seating (in-shade and in-sun), zero-entry, kiddie pool, and all the other above-mentioned features. We love that it kind of fits in between the standard, rectangle lap pool and the all-out mini-waterpark approach. The latter of which is guaranteed to be jam-packed no matter the day of the week.
